I doubt it. In pokemon you can normally boost your ivs with special items like iron, calcium, zinc etc, but I've never seen anything that let's you remove ivs lol

Pokémon were not referred to as shining Pokémon only in the TCG. Back in Generation 2 of the main line games, when shiny Pokémon became a thing, shiny Pokémon were officially referred to as shining Pokémon. The main reason why shiny Pokémon are referred by shiny instead is because of the community back in the day. Shiny was so widely used over the official term "shining" that GameFreak just went with it. Granted, shining was the term used overall early TCG starting with the release of the Neo Revelation set in 2001. Though, I believe it only stuck for a little while because shining was literally in the name of those cards.

Ando (Unlistedleaf) is a PokeTuber just like the rest of these guys. However, I'm guessing you don't know, Poketuber stands for pokemon TH-camr, not pokemon GO TH-camr. Ando has a channel that revolves around opening the TCG not playing pokemon GO. This may come as a surprise but some people just play the game for fun. He's actually a big part of the community. Shame on you.

Pretty stoked to see how many of these I have in my own collection.
So, I started PoGo when it first came out, and played pretty regularly until around the time they started introducing Gen 2 to the dex. I just got back into the game a few days ago, and I've been watching a ton of videos and getting major FOMO about special event Pokemon I was never going to have.
BUT. I do have an OG 2016 Dragonite with an insane CP (3700 something). And getting some external validation about that being cool made my week hahaha.

I loved this video. It shows how even youtubers play differently and still enjoy the game. Obviously some do pay for things more than others but the ones that don't pay as much still have awesome collections.
P.s. I had a Hundo Shadow Articuno from 2020 GoFest but when I went to power it up I accidently Purified it.

Oh, that hurts so much!! I literally cried when I purified my Hundo Shadow Machamp when I was trying to power it up, too. Those buttons need to be placed better AND look different. It's too easy to do!

I met you in Japan too, we did some trades live on my channel. I got a nice collection, but I stopped playing when corvid started.
By far my fave is a 100% Ponyta caught ONE WEEK after release of pogo. I had no idea what IV’s was back then, but for some reason i kept it forever.

Two shadow hundo here. Venomoth (caught not evolved) and an Exeggcute that I evolved into Alolan Exeggutor with Draco Meteor during the event.
Loved that one so much that powered it up to level 50!
Also have a Nundo Shadow Charizard with both Com day moves.
You were right about the european Oricorio from Trainer Tips, That only spawns in Europe!
Me back in pogo after break from 2017. That guy with all the hundo and shinys really made my charizard feel small haha. But he still pumps gyms

My first shadow in pogo was a hundo skourpi. I purified it knowing it was going to cp boost and power up cheaper because of some not so knowledgeable friends. Biggest regret

I got shiny shadow Charmander and shiny shadow Bulbasaur in a total of 4 bosses. ^^ I didnt even try, because I was busy just looking into the app once in a while. :) I got rid of Frustration and evolved both
I hope I get the Squirtle till the the next Rocket event.

I'm level 46 and mostly free to play. I only started spending money since The pandemic started. I have a Shundo Groudon from April 2019. Also Mystic7 has 4 Shundos and they are all within the last 2 years I believe so don't worry. It's only a matter of time.
Yes I have a shadow Charizard that is 100% IV. I also have the shiny Pikachu with the black hat with the thunder bolts on it, I remember getting that as it was freezing cold & the hunt finally paid off.
It was like a day before shadow Latvia’s was going away and I did my Giovanni and got a Hundo Latias. Hope you get a hundo shadow soon

I found a shiny archen in the wild and it was as good as the archeops in the video. I was so mad that it got away
i got a shadow hundo machop from a grunt and immediatly max evolved so yeah that was fun.
I read another one was rhe rarest shiny costume, and I have that one. Charmander with visor I believe.

My best pokemon (or one of my favorites that is good) is a shiny lucky hydreigon from the comm day. My sister found the exact same dieno as shiny, and we grinded for lucky freinds to see if we could get shlundos. we didnt, but still. I also have a shiny 98 garchomp from the comm day that im useing the ultra league, another shiny 3000+ cp garchomp, and a purifed dragonite i have sentimental value towards because i used it for jump start research, its also cp 3000+. my favorite shiny is proably a pichu i hatched and evolved in 2018 with about 90 ivs. and two others that have good attacks are my 2900 cp vaporeon with water gun and aqua tail, and a shiny szior with fury cutter and night slash.

I feel like most collections where more of a quantity lists. I was more interested in the quality sets like Poke Daxis and Trainer Tips, those where my favourites.
