Just a tip for future painting. If your doing a light color over dark do a layer of White first. If your doing a dark over partial light you need an Opaque to cover the light part so your color is even.

After many failed attempts and a lot of frustration working with glass and paint, I have a couple tips. There are spray paint primers and if you spray that on your glass or plastic first you won't have to worry about the paint lifting when you do more than one coat. It will also greatly reduce brush marks. Also, if you spay a clear coat sealer on after you're done, your project will be water resistant and it won't chip or peel as well. I made my son some Jack Skellington glass Christmas ornaments and I made a Jack Skellington coin bank for him out of a used food jar. I also made myself a Christmas soap dispenser a couple of years ago. The primer and sealer and game changers.
