In honor of fathers day tomorrow, I'm voting you father of the year and of course that good woman of yours gets the lifetime mother/wife,, of the century.
The worst thing I did was to read a couple of comments. The concerned viewer that said to put the camera down and help kids. By golly! we know what you can do!! the joy is watching what those great kids are growing up doing. proud of you two! Proud of the whole darn bunch of ya.

Hate you had to edit this video, glad you posted it. The non-cattle, non-country people are a little squeamish, but they need to realize it is safer for the cattle and humans with no horns, Great team work and camera work. Another good one. God Bless.

I haven't been watching your videos but about a week. They're really entertaining and I'm sure proud they're folks in this country that still believe in teaching their children to work hard.
I was raised on a dairy farm in Southern Mississippi. We don't have nearly as much land as you, but we all had chores to do and we were expected and taught to take care of any problems that we came up on. I pulled my first calf at 6 years old. I walked up on a heifer trying to calf in the woods while walking a fence. I left her alone until I finished my fence line, then came back and she was down and struggling. So I got my little rope we all carried ( all of us carried a 1/4 inch rope about 6 feet long in our pocket, I got my rope and looped the ends on both legs and started pulling with all my might. Well I wasn't getting very far. So I tied the rope to a small tree and popped the heifer on the flanks with my hat, and when she stood up. Out pops a beautiful Holstein heifer calf. I skipped my rope off, washed it in the creek and headed home, ten feet tall and bullet proof.
Dehorning cattle is really a natural thing. It helps the cow, plus the whole herd. We dehorned every cow we had that had horns.
Keep up the videos, and keep those kids on the right track. God bless you and your family.

Dam what i missed the first time and seen the 2nd time when one of the mean cows was shaking her head up and down like she wanted to fight or something. Those boys are sure brave. one last thing, the whips, what happens when the whip strikes the horse by mistake, is the rodeo on bucking bronco time or??

In the end what do you do with all the cows? Are they all meat cows? How many bulls and reg cows do you keep?
I didn't realize that girl cows had horns. I thought just bulls had horns. Thanks for the videos. Learning a different side to a burger is very informative.
