     Aqua Force Services I didn't notice any ums at all. I was to busy listening to all the wisdom! Great work and very inspiring! I just bought a truck, 4gpm belt driven machine and all the basics and rented a storage unit to keep everything in and going full time with it head first! It's a struggle for sure right now but like you said "You got to keep going!" Thanks for sharing!

      this trailer looks like a nightmare to service..added cost.
      looks like you were trying to fill every part of the trailer.
      ide put reels coming out the sides rather then all out back.
      your jumper hoses can be 3/8", they look like 1/2". There is a lot of cost savings that can be had on this trailer then next time you get something replaced/serviced..just my $0.02
      i appreciate you taking the time to make the video. Keep it choochin!

    I watched your first video and ended up all the way through here on from the channel. I caught on super quick to the “umms” & “uhhs” but just focused to the message between them instead. You really are a great contractor with what you speak and what you do. You keep yourself out of situations that could effect what you really aim for. Such as deals you passed up on to making sure your supply lines being larger that standard or simply having the trailer built to prepare you for a property with a building and RV’s heck even cut grass with the trailer. I also like the talk about not not trying an option but instead trying it out to see if it benefits you. #washon Simeon

    • @aimhighpressurewashing
      @aimhighpressurewashing  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      RHA, thanks for watching...That's very easy. Call you local water company and ask them for the price of water. It is usually priced per 1000 gallons. You will be very surprised on how cheap it actually is. I always use the customers water and never had a problem. Even if you was to fill up 1000 gallons, they probably won't complain after seeing how good of a job you have done. And also, its not like you are filling at their location everyday. Thanks!

    WHy do you not have your tanks on the axels? Now you have changing weight distribution when you fill and empty your tanks.

    • @aimhighpressurewashing
      @aimhighpressurewashing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes & No...I set my trailer up because this is what works best for ME...I decided to put the machines over the axles bc the weight of the machines will never change regardless of if I have water of not. I can always adjust the amount of water that I wanna put in the tanks so that the distribution is still within reason...I don't necessarily have to fill my tanks up every time. I hope this was helpful...thanks for watching btw!

    • @brinkshows2720
      @brinkshows2720 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aimhighpressurewashing Yeah, but i mean like. The tanks is variable weight, so if you have them on top of the axels you just have to think about balance when designing the trailer. If you machines and all the add-ons are perfectly balanced and you have the main water tanks in the middle the balance will always be the same with any amount of water.
      It just looks to me like allot of extra hassle, but maybe its because EU car's are not allowed to have more than 50kg on the back of their car hooks. XD

Im getting started doing more and I find myself under bidding, if you have any tips or suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.

    • @aimhighpressurewashing
      @aimhighpressurewashing  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching! The best way to see if your pricing is fair market is to see what others in your area are pricing jobs at. Then that should be your base price. Then figure out your experience, equipment and what it takes to provide for yourself/family. After doing that, that will determine your pricing. Don't under-bid yourself. You aren't going to win every job but also you aren't going to lose every job also. Focus on quality first, then the quantity of jobs will follow. This is just my thoughts. I have another video that I'm planning on doing that will discuss employees vs working solo. You may wanna subscribe if you already haven't done so...Thanks again for watching!

      Shakey...thanks for watching first of all. Stucco isn't hard to clean and you really can't mess up, lol. You will be just fine. Use your downstream injector. Use straight 10-12.5% bleach in a 5 gallon bucket. 2.5 gallons of bleach + 2.5 gallons of water + 3oz of soap. Shake it up & spray. Watch it work. Option #2, If that's too slow and depending on the condition, step it up to 75% bleach and 25% water + still 3oz soap. Option #3...Worst case, Full bleach + 3oz of soap. Good luck!

      Phillip...For cleaning roofs I would start out with a 3% mix. If you don't like the results then retreat with another treatment. I use a 12volt pump and I usually make 65 gallons at a time. So use 20 gallons of bleach, 45 gallons of water and 8 cups of a non greaser soap/surfactant. I'll usually retreat a roof until I completely run out of my batch mix. Find what works best for you tho and not what everybody else is saying and doing. Thanks man...Good luck!

    Hey thanks for these videos! A couple questions. What is the length of your trailer? Also, what is the most important piece of equipment you have to have (besides the obvious) to get started? I am looking to get into RV detailing because of the amount of RV's in the are where I live. Any suggestions to get this side of the business going? Thank you!!

    • @aimhighpressurewashing
      @aimhighpressurewashing  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Allen, thanks for watching. Sorry for the late response. Please watch this video one more time. I'm pretty sure I mention the length of this trailer. And if after watching it, you find out that I didn't mention the length, please let me know. If you missed this detail, then you may have missed some other good points also. RV detaining/washing is a very good service to offer. I would have 2 tanks...one for regular water and the other for spot free. You asked about what is the most important equipment that I have...but it's all relevant because I offer a wide variety of services. So, basically everything is important. But I would simply say that organization is a big plus to a trailer...not so much the equipment. The best way to get going is to simply get going. Be careful cleaning RV's...they aren't CHEAP! Try just washing Rv's as opposed too detailing them. Most of the time a washing is just as good. I hope this was helpful man. Let me know of your experience and equipment that you now have...I can help more if I knew, ok? ttyl man!

      Good Evening !,
      I was wanting to know if you had a resource or information on how to actually build these trailers from the ground up. I'm pretty good mechanically so I know if I'm given the info I should be able to get one together. Thank you!

    • @aimhighpressurewashing
      @aimhighpressurewashing  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Allen, that's a hard question. I can build this trailer in my sleep. Buts its because of all the years I've spent cleaning . Trailers are unique to the owner. Because of all the different pressure washing services a person can offer. One person may do it one way and another person who also pressure wash may set-up their trailer another way. I'm not trying to be complicated but its a true answer. Try contacting Mark with Under Pressure Power Wash, in the Melbourne area of Florida. He may be able to help you more than I can. He builds trailers.

    Hi Simenon, I have a question for you. I am in San Antonio and I am looking to start up a Pressure Washing service. I have been watching a lot of TH-cam and reading a lot of articles, but what I found is that most city's have a law around waste water running into the sewer drains and roads, ditches etc... yet I never see anyone commenting on how they are addressing this, not sure if its one of those things thats low risk and no one see it as worth the effort to capture the runoff and either direct it down the sewage clean out pipe or take it off site to have it dumped. Any thoughts around this? Something that caught me is that even Bleach is considered Hazardous and needed to to be captured.

    • @aimhighpressurewashing
      @aimhighpressurewashing  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Neil..thanks for watching. But you are right about the "low risk" factor. I've been doing this for 17 years and never had anyone come up to me or have I lost many jobs because I didn't have a recovery system. I just don't see a need for investing in a recovery system unless I knew ahead of time that I had a large account. Otherwise I would rather let someone else get that particular account and I would just focus on the other many jobs that don't require this concern. Yes bleach is a hazard but many times the work is followed with a rinse with in term will dilute the bleach that does run-off. Once again, be safe, be aware of "YOUR AREA" and I think you will make the best decision for your business. Thanks!

      Esteban, I would go gas/diesel not diesel/diesel. The reason is because the cost of the diesels vs lifespan of the Honda engines. You would have to ruin 3-4 Honda engines to risk the cost of the diesel option. To me it's just not worth the money! I have a Honda engine in my trailer the is 11 years old. • @aimhighpressurewashing
      @aimhighpressurewashing  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      GK....More yes than no. For doing houses as you mention, your machine is going to do great. Because when cleaning houses you use less pressure(soft wash). So you don't need the pressure. You are going to use your downstream injector. (Google it). Now, I also say no because eventually when doing a house you will up-sell a customer a driveway/sidewalk cleaning and having a bigger machine will get the job done FASTER. Your machine will get the job done, but not a the rate that the larger machine will. So its just gonna take you a little longer. So, make the money with what you have and keep that machine as a back-up for when you step up to the next machine. Cool? Thanks again. PS, always ask someone who does pressure cleaning before asking a pressure wash salesman. (THEY WILL ALWAYS TRY TO SELL YOU), LOL

      @@aimhighpressurewashing well I know you have mentioned your email a few times in videos, but for some reason I cannot seem to hear it clearly. But, no, just business questions that I want to ask you as I am starting up my own business. Thanks
