We honestly chose the right band. I am so appreciative of how they acknowledge their teen fans and now that we have a bad rap in the media. Honestly, interviews like these are what make me so proud to be a fan of this band.

im so happy they talked about younger teen fans in a positive way. i hate to admit this, but i actually stopped listening to 5sos for a couple years and convinced myself to not like them just because the way i was looked at for it. i was tired of the stereotypes and teasing and i overall was going through a really rough stage of finding myself, so i just cut off 5sos. i hate that i did that because this band has been so important to me since like 2014-2015? i love that they acknowledge teen fans because ive always struggled with feeling unimportant to bands i like when these bands have seriously changed my life and helped me through so so much
