- This hydraulic hose goes from the swivel joint through the lower frame and into the drive housing and to the 2 speed valve on the drive motor. It was a bit of a challenge to clean out all of these passages so the hose can be snaked through to get it out and replaced.
Sir!!! I so appreciate you taking the time to make these videos! I for one have learned more than I can ever repay you for… THANK YOUUU Mr. Robertson!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I appreciate that!
At auction, keep an eye out for a hydraulic hose clamp fitting press, you may find that it comes with a bookoo amount of hose and fittings. 🤷🏼♂️
I probably average 1 hose every 3 years and about the same for cylinders although I do reseal my cylinders at home now.
You have a great deal of tenacity that has served you well over these many years. Thanks for sharing.
Great job...
Thank you sir.
12:24 Mr. Robertson you can use a correction Pen,, open an empty correction Pen and fill with house paint....
I do use a bottle of white out to mark some things.
I recommend a bottle of Seal Lube it will help you get a little more life out of the lines you have not replaced & will slow down the leaks. Best 20$ you can spend when it comes to old hydros,
I'll keep that in mind.
Always curious. . . .was that the fix for the leak?
That hose was leaking real bad where I pointed out by the 2 speed valve. I don't remember if I found any other leaks, I recorded that back in April I think. That machine always has a couple leaks somewhere.
