Well mate what can I say 😢 I've been on holiday 😜 Just watched your last 3 videos 😢 What is going on can't let the granddaughter watch the first one 😅 Hope you get it sorted quickly my friend🙏🐟
But Keith, the easypod is doing it's job, it is catching the shit, your upgrade is going to let lots through, so not doing the job so well, letting the shit through to your moving bed, which in tern will need more maintenance, I have a nexus 300 on a 5000 gallon pond, and I have to clean it everyday because of my stock level and heavy feeding 😀 best wishes, Tony😀
I have the same, 5000 gallon with two nexus 300's on it, a sieve on the skimmer and in the summer i have to clean both every day without fail or they will run dry, if i wrap a spawning brush around the outside of the eazy section to catch most of the algae then it will go 2 to 3 days but as it is its pretty useless if you want a life, probably why they invented the autoclean for it
It is good to hear about pond equipment, but are there any reports on the KOI itself? Most reports from Japanese hobbyists at this time of year are mostly about swimming, activity or even how to improve feeding behaviour!
I remember watching one of Ricky's koi talk vids discussing parasites and how a fish can leave a facility completely clear and actually develop parasites during transportation due to stress, just my two pence worth.
You need a drum mate, what your doing with the brushes is a step backwards, there are some bargains to be had on the bay, i paid £350 for a drum last year
Hi, appreciate that but not ready for a drum yet and there's nothing wrong with other forms of mechanical filtration, the brushes are actually working mint. I'm well happy and settled now with it for the first time.
Hi Keith, A other great update on the pond project that you are trying out mate I use to have some problem when I had a easy pod that's why I got a drum instead mate. Can you please send me your email address so I can talk you or a mobile number so on WhatsApp mate. Steve
Another very interesting and thought provoking video. I may not always comment on your videos but I watch them all. Keep up the good work 😊👍
Thanks Phil, that's much appreciated 👍 🙏. And likewise I do my best and enjoy watching other channels including yours. Cheers
