After performing sold out shows across multiple different states and being recruited for international tours in Canada and Australia, JUMP has positioned themselves as one of the top up and coming Van Halen tributes on the planet.
Delivering two hours of classic David Lee Roth era Van Halen, the Toledo, Ohio based band’s lineup is composed of a group of youngsters all born in the mid-late 90’s and early 2000’s. While their age offers a visual aesthetic true to Van Halen in their prime, their sound also reflects the same shredding Eddie guitar solos, rock solid rhythm section, and the whaling two-tone screams reminiscent of David Lee Roth’s voice. Featuring a variety of hits and deep cuts off of the first 6 albums, JUMP’s live show includes a selection of acrobatics, martial arts, skits and one liners portrayed by Van Halen from bootlegs of their live shows between 1978-1984.

@@jumptribute It shows I was 11 in 1980 when I discovered Van Halen, I play guitar and have been in a lot of bands. I can hear all of the details and thank you for singing the original melodies and phrasing… even DLR can’t do that anymore. He sounds like some kind of Vegas yenta. Lol.

I had tickets 3 times to see Van Halen in concert. US Navy got in the way twice and Mother nature the third. My absolute favorite band. Now with Eddie gone and the rest of the band still bitchin about each other, JUMP may be the closest band out there to give me the experience that I have longed for for 40 years. Hope to see you somewhere soon!

Van Halen were never as appreciated here in the UK as much as they were in the US.
As for me, my office wall is covered with Van Halen signed shit and when people walk in they are stopped in their tracks and ask "who the fuck are these guys" to which I reply "you need to get Van Halenized"

Well, the real VH band had their final concert with Dave as lead singer in Oct 2020 and disbanded after October 6, 2020 when Eddie passed. Sammy Hagar and Mike Anthony are touring this July and August and playing more VH songs including a few Dave ones. Hagar invited Roth but only for a few guest appearances. They never got along in the past and very rarely shared the stage together. This cover band, though is just like the Roth era VH in 1984! Roth left VH in 1985 and was replaced by Sammy Hagar from 1986-1996. Dave came back to VH in 2007 after Wolfgang replaced Mike on bass. I don't care for Wolfgang's solo work in his band, Mammoth WVH. I like the 70's and 80's VH stuff sung by Roth and Hagar.

I like the analogy of contemporary performers recreating a historic artist's work. But i think the audience of theater and music are different. I wonder how many VH fans would go to a VH musical. I think music fans are less forgiving of intepretation in varying degrees.
this IS the Van Halen musical. It is not a reference meaning someone would write an entire script of their lives. Simply the characteristics of what their real live show was like, recreated.
Some people are meant to be entertainers, and are not song writers and have no interest in recording music in a recording studio..so just be yourselves! Enjoy your youth, it goes by fast and the jumping moves are beyond expectations!!! When I saw Van Halen, David Lee Roth wore the pants with the circles cut out in back exposing his butt cheeks..just putting that out there! 😂
Sounds good and good musicians but I have to think about the whole package. There's a interview with Wolfgang Van Halen if anyone deserves to do a Tribute would be Wolfgang. They asked Wolfgang in the interview why don't you do a Tribute to your Dad and his response was my Dad would tell me what are you doing do your own stuff.

These guys are way better than steel panther maybe better than van Hagar
Not sold on this Geddy Lee type of bass player. I would bet any money he also played in a Rush tribute before this band. His playing lacks energy and his stage presence is like Geddy's too. Boring. Other than that, these guys are really good. Since seeing them on their World Vacation tour back in 1979, Diamond Dave era is by far my all-time favorite band. And It's not even close. And I'm very picky too when it comes to my favorite band. It's hard to impress me and y'all did.
Id rather see this than half the bands out there today. If you can really call some of them "bands."
