Great to see this collaboration Murray. I have had my 193 Vex Clip neck knife around my neck every day since receiving it in May (even some nights while sleeping). I even sharpened it a month or so ago using the methods that you have taught me. I guess we can consider the knife complete now that my sharpening markings/polishing and patina from sweat are now apparent. The Kajiki is simply a beautiful knife, just in time for Santa. I hope he brings it.

That is a pretty special little blade. Hopefully they will be available for a while. I could never make my mind up which of your knives to get first. This one is perfect for my first Cater Cutlery creation. Tax Season will be sharp...

One question please, I've seen your vid on japanese grinding, and could we grind the blade, after thermal treatement, at the backstand ?
    Have a nice day

Ah yes... because space shuttles, and modern cutlery have so much in common as requirements.

The Kajiki is an exclusive model for KnivesShipFree and is only available from KnivesShipFree currently. The models we had available from the first run sold for $499. They were all purchased within an hour of being made available. The knife listed on our website for $2135 is a Mastersmith Fighter - it sold within 10 minutes of being listed online.

If it has the Carter stamp on it it is a laminated blade. This blade features a core of White Steel that is pre-laminated between stainless SUS410
