Sir Callum created in Aston Martin the most beautiful cars ever made. Fantastic interview with the best car designer by far

Brilliant Mike you just sat back and let Ian talk… a great interview. I love that Zagato I remember being invited to its launch in Australia.

Do we know how many of the 61 Zag’s are in Australia?

Thank God for Ian Callum or we not be owning, driving and admiring his work which will eventually become ageless

One of the most enjoyable interviews I've seen/listened to. Ian is a God among car designers. Little known fact: he has an antipodean achievement: he designed the body kit and wheels on the 1994 HSV Senator 215i. MD at the time of HSV (Holden Special Vehicles in Australia) was Tom Walkinshaw, hence Ian's connection there I'm assuming. His design converted a hum drum family saloon into an object of desire, and yes I had one :)

Great interview Mike. I like the angle this channel is approaching from regarding more technical insight. I also like your style of allowing the interviewee to be the focus without constant interruptions.

🙏 Thanks. It would have been sacrilege to talk over Ian, his commentary is almost poetry

Good stuff! Nice to hear the development story of these cars, plus some details of the Callum/Fisker cross over, from the horses mouth!

Great interview. Loved design cues from Top Gear 😅. Talking of which can we expect seeing a Lamborghini Tractor heading up the A34 from Chipping Norton to Halford for an interview with Clarkson?

Great to hear him speak. But please drop the weird shots of you facing him listening every 20 seconds!
A wide shot with the pair of you is a better idea if you MUST get away from the close in of your subject

Good interview, but the audio/microphone setup could have been better. Take this as a bit of constructive criticism to improve future videos The interview was very soft and hard to hear at times and Callum was quite loud at times and at others inaudible. Might be due to the mic positions or microphone(s) being used, but the volumes can all be adjusted during the editing process. It makes it easier to listen to as a podcast. Hope this helps!
