      Last game was a trick of highlight real goals. Totally insane. And the second one was tip top. He released damn near the crease and went over glove. In .1 sec. Just stupid 🏆🔥🔥
      My reaction sometimes is yelling and screaming, but recently is just shaking my head asking “what?” Hes consistently doing silly things. Superhuman. He’s reminding me of lance Armstrong when he’s get challenged near the top of a long climb. And just stand up and walk people. I think that’s the last time I was shaking my head asking myself if this is possible… I also expect Nate to have pissed in a cup after Tuesdays game hahaha… hope he’s clean 😂

      haha being shocked and not even celebrating is a great way to put it - especially for that most recent Wild game.

    he deserves it and they will give him the hart even if he doesnt win the art ross, because its more worth it for the league to market him as the new MVP rather than giving it to kucherov. much more entertaining player for new fans than kuch for example. and also he is north american and that will play a small role too

      Him getting snubbed the year Hall won too I think is somewhat fresh in voter's minds

    Great analysis!
    I think Mac is taking chances because he's trusting his d, and wingers to pick up some of the gaps he leaves. His speed bails him out often. I agree with your MVP choice.

    Stating facts here man! I started watching hockey again in 19’ after initially becoming a fan in 95’ as a youngster. Was insane. But picked a perfect time to start up again. Seeing Nate’s and other top avs games develop over the last 5 years has been special. Of course the cup run was silly hockey all the time… Nate is the most exciting player to watch imo. I’m biased tho… he’s just so full of rage and passion. I really think that mikko would instantly get 20% better if he could find a similar mentality. But it’s hard to teach it. Angry mikko has always ended up scoring like 30-60 sec later. It’s insane. And we have Cale too. Beat d man to play in the last 50 years… we are lucky in Colorado!..no other sport comes close to hockey imo. I just don’t get how people can watch baseball or even basketball and not fall in love with hockey. Football and soccer are for sure second place, have similar potencial for epic plays. Football especially. Soccer would be insane if they had line changes like hockey…. But it might speed the game up to unsafe levels.
    It’s as objective as subjective gets imo. Hockey is for sure the most exciting sport in the world.

      A lot to unpack here but the Avs have to be the most exciting team to follow right now and totally agree an angry Moose is a good thing. Not everyone can have that drive all the time though so Avs fans just hope he has it in the playoffs.

    Watching your pod...while we get ready for today's huge game with WPG.Great analysis-you have a new subscriber.I work at Ball arena,& hopefully the Avs get it done today.And hopefully don't follow the Nuggets lead by winning the most important regular season game of the season...then make it completely meaningless by pissing it all away in the next game-lol.

      Glad you subscribed and yes nothing is worse than slumping into the playoffs. Avs will have to turn it around as top players can't do everything in playoffs. Need a full team effort.

    What is a zone 2 ride

    • @AlongTheIceHockey
      @AlongTheIceHockey  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This was Nate's explanation: "It’s like the subconscious of your nervous system. Just kind of get all the lactate out. The Tour de France (competitors) - when they have a day off - they do like a 6-hour zone two ride. And they ride the next day. If they didn’t do that, they wouldn’t be able to move. So, that’s kind of where the idea came from. The more you play, the more biking that I do."

    sadly youve got the pro bicycle riders going faster now than lance armstrong when he was having blood bags delivered to him... yet all these new guys are testing clean... not saying nate's doping but if half the NHL was, we would have no idea

      Sadly that would mean Landy wouldn't play again. One of the more sad injuries as he hasn't played since winning the cup.

    Mack will not be MVP. It will go to the East Coast player.

    • @AlongTheIceHockey
      @AlongTheIceHockey  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That east coast bias totally could come into play. But Mack is also Canadian which I think helps his case.
