Love this style of journals! Tattered and torn and a little bit worn :) so shabby looking! Liked the idea of the ruffles and gluing paper on the inside of the envelopes! I'm going to try that too! Thanks for sharing your amazing work of art journals! Hugs, Judy

Oh how I adore these journals! Can you tell me how you use the baking paper in your tea dying? I have only done one tea dyed journal and it took me forever! I'd love to be able to dye heaps of papers & bags & envelopes & doilies all at once in bulk. Any tips would be much appreciated lovely lady!
I layer each piece of paper with baking paper between and then dry the stack in the oven. I do a lot in bulk and it is usually a day long project. If you figure out a quick way, please let me know!! xx Michelle
Hi I'm in love with ur account u make the yummiest journals quick question what ink do use to stamp on the pages ? When I do this it tends to bleed through 😕 any tips please Tfs hugs Janet
I stamp with either distress inks or archival ink. The lighter the paper the more it will show through. You could stamp on a separate piece of paper and glue it on. xx M
the journals are gorgeous!!!! Did you bind the journal first then did the sewing to the pages or did you sew the pages firts then bind it all together ?? Sorry..I'm a beginner & trying to figure out how to tackle such a project ??
I prefer to sew first. It is easier in my opinion. Use a long stitch and take it slow at first as the paper can slip around a bit. Have fun but be warned ... it is addictive!! xx Michelle
