Though, according to me, if you look at their predebut videos he clearly has a sense and surprisingly good movements for having started just months earlier!
I became a fan in early 2022 and my bias was Jeonghan Although I don't understand anything about dancing, i felt that he's a really good dancer - especially in comparison to many other idols But, indeed in comparison to 2015-19, he draws more attention from 2020 with his dancing - his dancing was still really impressive even before that - just that there are too many good dancers in Seventeen so he didn't stand out that much Edit: his dance was noticeable from 2018 and was totally one of the top most noticeable since 2019

hoshi is one of my fav performers he doesn't get enough credit for being one of the best all-rounders in kpop he is an amazing dancer, a really good singer and a good rapper. seventeen overall may not be underrated but they are definitely under appreciated.
Actually carats are lazy enough to spread svt agenda and a bit selfish to keep them selves . They won’t invade other videos . That’s why other fandom don’t know much about 17. Seventeen have one of best dance line in Korea . People just dont know.
@@svtcatline9662 I wouldn't say lazy or selfish either. Not every fan has to constantly share and spread the SVT agenda online. You can also just appreciate them by actually enjoying their music and occasionally sharing etc. Some people have actual lives, jobs and other things beyond just being a fan and that's ok too. I keep hearing a lot of activist fans calling the less active fans lazy. We may have different priorities. Besides, why invade other videos when you know what you like? It's a bit odd (also kinda rude) talking about another artist under someone else's post or mv. Yes, everyone wants to be really popular etc but I'm sure the artists themselves would choose quality over quantity. They would rather have the fans understand and be healed through their music and art than be the biggest selling artist which makes less of an impact to the community
under appreciated for sure. From what I know though, a lot of people know about and of seventeen, but I think many are biased by the number of members that they don't appreciate the art as much anymore.

it makes me happy to see dino getting praised i would also like to add that dino's stage presence is always present and consistent (imo he is the most consitent in stage presence and facial expressions in the group regardless of the concept) and he always gives his 100% in every performance and at a very young age !
Dino is not my fav member (i love all the boys btw) but i hv to say, everytime i see him in a performance even for a brief second, i hv to pause and take a second look cuz his gaze KILLS me
I think technique-wise Dino is the 1st place (hip-hop). But bcs hoshi choreograph most of seventeen song, he got the best flow overall so he's got no. 1.
because of dokyeom's funny, endearingly cute personality, im always shocked everytime i see him on the stage. he's seriously so good. i think his stage presence is really good no matter what concept they bring. his dancing is so freaking good too, and i agree he can be the lead dancer to other groups. and ngl i always thought svt is really good with cute happy concept than the serious dark concept like fear. not that they r not good in that concept but i think they are just more comfortable cus thats how they always are.
most of kpop dancers nowadays would either lean more on hard movements and excessive body locking or over bending choreo. however, for hoshi, he knows exactly when to be tough and when to smoothly glide with the movements. he perfected his angles and such a perfectionist in his dance. exactly why he's a good dancer
The thing I like about hoshi's dancing is that he doesn't over dance. His control over his body is amazing. And also I'm so so proud of jeonghan. He literally improved so much. I really like his dancing
What most people forget about or don't know is that DK is a Dance Major, his position on the group is Main Vocal, but he graduated with a Major in Dance. So he's like the complete package!!
“DK has surprisingly very good sense of rhythm” haha This made me think of all the various drum dances he’s done in GoSe, especially in that [The8 and the 12 shadows] episode and the most recent [Going Magazine] episodes where he was DJing and dancing all over the place.
To explain Jun's undeveloped isolations: As a teenager, he had injured himself on the waist during a martial arts competition. He didn’t want to worry his parents about it, so the injury was discovered late, and Jun was diagnosed with spinal tuberculosis. The treatment process for his tuberculosis took around 10 months and still affects his dancing today, as he’s stiff around his waist/hips. Either way, he's still a fantastic dancer now!!!
IKR!!! Especially after watching the behind the scenes of them practicing for the FMA and Dino doing complicated footwork and dance on his first try just by watching the others practice!
I don't think he's being careful about it. As an injured dancer myself i think his movility range decreased, an injurie itself makes it happen and there are rumors that he went into surgery so its even worse.
but even though he has a past injury he's still making a good performance and I didn't even notice that he has a past injury because he is such a nice dancer
Woozi was actually supposed to be in performance team The company had long discussions to decide which unit to put Woozi in They said it in an interview
I really can't choose between hoshi and dino, they have very different styles of dancing : hoshi is indeed the most versatile and he has a speed-centered technique that makes his dancing captivating dino's technique is centerded around sharpness and precision, which is why i disagree about the over-dancing, dino has by far the best body control in svt, no matter how much power he puts in, every move is so detailed and precise, which makes is dancing very satisfying to watch in my opinion
Well even dino really admires hoshi's dancing skills. And to add that hoshi really isn't the cover type of a dancer that shows their dancing skills often is really amazing. Low-key amazing
yah they have different style but i'll still rank Hoshi first because he has a good presence when he is center, you'll notice whenever he is center the dancing becomes more precise and well rounded.

They both have their own styles which is incomparable but if i have to make a choice i still choose Hoshi some might prefer Dino and i respect that cuz he really is a terrific dancer. 6:25 , the reason why junhui can be stiff around his hips/waist is because he got injured during a martial arts competition before, so he ended up developing a spinal tuberculosis, thus explains why he can't move his hips and torso much

okay but can we all agree that S.Coups has the best stage presence out of all of them? his facial expressions are consistent even in the parts of the song where he's not the center anymore. like bruh center or not, his expressions are never dull and boring and it amazes me every time
Jun truly is so underrated. If Jun was not that 'shy', then Hoshi and Dino would be in trouble. He gonna be a big competitor for the both main dancer. Many fans agree on that. Jun isn't that interested in dancing like the other three perf unit members, but he would beat them if he were to be passionate about it. Despite his injury and his height (182cm), Jun is an mind-blowing dancer and pretty much a beast on stage like Hoshi. Their stage presence is insane. Both also have the most views on their dance-heavy fancams. Jun has the same potential like Taemin or Ten or Jimin. He is just not into extending that, plus he is extremely shy and loses all self-confidence when he has to dance alone, which is super devastating and sad. He really has to work on his self-confidence. Until now, you can clearly see that he is not that confident. The Jun back before 2017 was screaming like S.coups during lives and dancing like the most confident king ever. Now he is on a soft sweet voice trip, don't dare to voice, laughs at the end of every sentence and falls back deliberately to leave the spotlight to the others. Many people call him childish and don't take him serious (his person and his skills as a dancer and singer). This way he loses more confidence. I hope fans can stop calling him that and see him for what he is. The purest, kindest and most talented person I've seen, someone who needs to be freed from his cage.

I actually feel Vernon is rated way to low he was originally a member of the Performsnce team but when they decided on the Hip Hop team Vernon really wanted to be a rapper and worked super hard to earn the spot and if you see solo clips of Vernon dancing he really is incredible.
I agree with this. A common carat opinion is that after the Perf team, the 2 next best dancers would be Vernon and Woozi. I feel like Vernon was rated too low - there's a reason why he's always chosen to do the dance breaks during stages
I agree 100% and Seungkwan at 13th place doesn't sit well with me. Personally, I think Woozi and Vernon are the best dancers outside the performance unit.
hoshi in dingo mafia dance: "i can't dance well" hoshi in dance rankings: *is first* ok but can i just say this is the first ranking i've seen that i 100% agree with? your reasoning is solid for all of them, and as a dancer myself i was pleased to see how high Woozi, DK and Jeonghan ranked here. I've always thought Woozi is the best dancer in SVT aside from performance team, he has an ability to make emotions and passion shine through his movements alone and is extremely fluid.
As DK biased I'm pleased that people put him on high position, this is the 2nd video (on svt dancing) I've watched and he's still there ^^ He really is a good dancer.
As DK biased, I'm also pleased that he's high, and shocked that he's so underrated by some. I'm a new fan btw, who's really shocked by how underrated he is.
I still think it's criminal Dino doesn't get nearly as enough hype for his dance as other groups I've seen, have you seen the views on his danceology? Makes me mad. He's still so young and already this good!
Woozi, Hoshi, and Dino always catch my eye when I am watching their choreographies. Especially Dino, he’s so freaking talented! He can smoothly connect super hard moves :O
I'm really proud and not surprised that DK's dance ability ranks high because he majored in tap and acrobatic dance back when he was in high school... I think that's what gave him an edge compared to his other members :)
I think DK focuses more on his singing skills now, so his dance may release some power to maintain the steady breathing while singing. But he is still a amazing performer in my heart !
ah everytime i think of jun's hip stiffness i get a bit emotional. permanent damage from his childhood (i think it was due to overworking or maybe a martial arts injury) and it sucks it still effects him now. can still outdance and outperform so it's obvious he doesn't let anything hold him back!!
I would personally put Vernon in higher position because for me he's one of the members who can deliver best their choreographies and I often see him center a lot. As to Jun, I would still put him on 4th place only because when it comes to freestyling, he's not that confident as much as other perf unit members. On the stiffness of his waist, his injury when he was younger can be one of the reasons. But I often see how Jun's height is not listed to his disadvantages as dancer when he's actually the 2nd tallest member. He's one of the best center in the group too. I don't know how to properly explain it but it feels like their most balance formation is when he is on the center. And he's actually the perf unit member with the least experience on dancing 'cause he only started learning it when he joined pledis but it's amazing how he's really doing well even during their trainee days. And I personally really enjoy his fancams 'cause I've always thought he has the best facial expressions alongside Dino.
I would also like to add that I would rank Jun higher if when it's about delivering choreographies. He's one of the most detailed and precised dancer in the group.

My personal opinions (as a non dancer) -Vernon's technic is under looked, I think he sometimes lacks consistency but he has really great technic and clean moves. In my personal case I got tricked by his body posture, not one of the best, that made me underestimate his abilities. -Seungkwan has really some of the cleanest moves in the group (ft Woozi) -Joshua has a great body and I would "take advantage" of his arms muscles and chest to give him specific spotlight in choreographies, for example with handstands or worm rolls (we all know he is great at both) -Wonwoo and Jun are the most elegant dancers (ft Woozi). -Jun has the strongest stamina. -Hoshi is one of the most versatile and energetic dancers in kpop but I have noticed a little "weakness" (if we should call it like that): sometimes he overdances. I actually think it's more of his dancing style rather than a weakness. -If I think about Dino I think about potential. He is already fantastic now but I can sense a lot of unexplored potential too. -Dk is easily the all rounded in group, together with Hoshi and Woozi.
Yes, Seungkwan dance is clean af. Im actually kind of surprised he is placed at 13th 😞 anyway, like they said, everyone has a different opinions, so i respect their choices 😊
As a dancer, I don’t think that Hoshi has a tendency to overdance. He’s extremely consistent. Dino however does have a tendency to over dance quite often. (Dino is my bias wrecker)
Tbh I've always thought Jun had some of the best facial expressions in SVT, I probably would've ranked him and Vernon a tad higher but each to their own! I loved your points and agreed with pretty much everything. The china line promotion is very appreciated!!! 💛💛
Jeonghan really became such an amazing performer. His under dancing most of the time is due to his stamina. He really gets tired easily and when they get packed schedule it takes toll on his health. I am glad he is taking care of his health better and seems improved his stamina too. Jeonghan's body control,good rythm,flexibility and facial expressions are his strengths. I am glad to know his technique is quiet decent when he is an emotional type of dancer. I love to see him dance more especially I like his elegant and expressive style of dancing.

the only thing that surprised me was that vernon ranked lower than i expected, i expected him to be 6th or 7th, but it makes sense, especially when it comes to idol dancing!! just out of curiosity, where would you draw the line for those who are good enough to be in other kpop group’s dance line under 3rd and/or 4th gen standards? i know you said dk could be a lead dancer under 4th gen standards, so is that where you would draw the line? what about for 3rd gen? thanks for this amazing video!!
yeaaahh.. I'm agree with you too!! My list of best dancer in SVT usually is that top four for PerfTeam and 5th is Woozi and then 6th is Vernon! but I couldn't denying Jeonghan improvement too, so I guess this kinda accurate >
Honestly, Chan's dancing skills are so underappreciated, he has very good facial expressions, and he has really stage presence. He's dance movements are also really sharp and clear ( not necessarily a good thing all the time tho) AND HIS BODY CONTROL CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT? 😭😭 I'm a dancer myself too, and the first time I saw Hoshi and Dino I already knew they were dancers 😩✋🏻
Eventhough Joshua always at 13th place (12th in this video which is quite rare), But his expression when performing is getting better, especially when he got his center part where all the attention will definitely goes to him. L&R era is definitely his peak, and he's glowing
Hoshi is master of "stage presence" in seventeen live stage.. In my opinion..Hoshi and Woozi is best all rounder idol in Kpop boy group.. He is just amazing multitalent idol.. Whoever your bias you can't look away from him in live stage..His line, energy, and facial expression was deadly.. If we combine it with his voice we can see paradise now.. (for me Hoshi's voice is the most addictive voice in seventeen..almost like signature)

Seungkwan is a very good dancer tho, its just the average standard within svt that is already way higher than normal tbh they're just a whole team of insane performers. Seungkwan is very good at making each move very distinct and clear too, and other idols who try to learn svt choreo for cover for exemple have often used his fancams for reference specifically, since his moves are clear and easy to follow
as a carat since debut, i am so proud for each member especially hoshi..we know hoshi as leader performance team but not all of us know what's his main strengths or advantage as main dancer and nowwww we know :) and seventeen with 13 members still can be one of the most synchronised kpop group is just amazing as always
I can't agree more about your ranking!!! jeonghan has true shining development in these past few years, he is the member who has to dance for a longest time on stage in several SVT's choreo (like HIT, CALL CALL CALL). and our boy DK, shout out to him, please give him the recognition that he deserves!!! I love his movement so so much, the flow is amazing too. Especially in Good to me era, I honestly refer his fancam even more than Hoshi's, which is really rare since Hoshi's the dance god for me! Among all of 3rd gen of K-Pop, Seventeen is still the best one at dancing and performance. We can't compare 3rd gen (dance perform) to 4th gen, since the market focus is différent, but Seventeen is another one and still on top.

for dino, i think he's one of the greatest dancer in kpop industry if not the whole music industry itself. i think carats especially need to start appreciating his hardwork. i am no dancer but bro anyone can tell he hit all the moves perfectly. hoshi is seriously so so good too. his fluidity in his moves and his expression. he was never overdo anything n never limit his move. i always thought svt doesn't have much opportunity to show their dance skill individually. the only time they show is during the dance battle in idol room which i think doesn't give much justice to every member since they make it as a joke. n please carats go watch dino danceology and the8's dance they are so good in that.

I love how each member of performance unit has their own style and speciality. I love when they incorporate little b boy moves into the choreo for The8 like his spin at the end of home run. Seriously impressive! Jun suits elegant styles so well. I remember the first time I watched the Thanks mv and there's a shot of Jun doing this one move that was so beautiful and elegant my jaw dropped. I've really enjoyed Dino's dance videos. He has such power and great facial expressions. One of my favorite Hoshi clips is one of him dancing to this song I think it's called bad. His dancing is soo smooth and satisfying to watch. He makes it looks so easy and effortless. I just really love this group. Their performances are some of the best in the industry. Even as their "worst" dancer Seungkwan is such a competent dancer. I absolutely love how he executes his lil solo dance move in Fear.
i don't think Dino overdanced. the better term is "Extend" he was extending his movement to give the eyes of the audience the balance and synchronized illusion. And that made him a really smart dancer. ♥️💎

Seventeen is so underrated as a performance group they are specially known for their synchronisation but their choreos are so unique and beautiful at the same time hard also. Their choreo fits so beautifully with the song even tho one can not understand the lyrics but still through their perfect choreos the songs became more enjoyable.
@@antonellabanto I agree. But for me it's not only about who has the best choreo but the best performance! I think Seventeen are undefeated when it comes to performing. I've never seen a group, not only in kpop, that has captivated me as much as them.

Yes Performance Unit is the Top 4. I find it really interesting how for Mingyu and Wonwoo being the tallest and third tallest is a disadvantaged. But Jun being the second tallest is able ,i dont know how to say that in englisch, to balance his hight out. Great Video as always. Get well soon
Sometimes weight influences a lot in your dancing. Sometimes being tall and having longer limbs can give the illusion of over dance (adding to much energy to your movements), or having poor technique or maybe you could cut the movements (because you will have to make longer movements than somebody who has shorter limbs). It's just a weakness, but just like Jun you can work on it. Learning more technique to end this "illusions" and stop cuting your movements. Being tall doesn't make you automatically a bad dancer is just a weakness you can solve and work on it. If you have a body, then you have a body to dance

Vernon has one of the best beat and rhythm sense. He won dingo mafia bcs he can memorize the beat perfectly. Vernon rarely dance so it's hard to rank him in dance lol 😅
i think most carats first bias was hoshi. The first time i watched their performances, he was the one that i observed a lot, his dance is so perfect (idk how to say this, i'm not a dancer), he gave me a reason to start discovering svt as a whole
They're all an amazing dancers 😊❣️❣️but I feel sad for Junie's waist injury and when I came to know about it, I realised why his waist or hip movements sometimes seem stiff 😭but despite that his dance moves are always satisfying to watch...his body proportions especially is perfect to make any movement perfect 😍❤️❤️
Man, early on in their career, they said jeonghan always stayed later to improve his dancing since he is slow in learning the steps. Look at the growth. He really *snapped*
It's good that you picked up on Jun's stiffness at the waist. He actually has an old injury there that still affects him and he's talked about having to work harder to compensate and work around it
I agree with everything except I feel Hoshi is seconds and Dino is first. But its just personal preference coz I sometimes speachless seing Dino stage presence more that Hoshi..
Vernon should be ranked higher 😭 I will give my HONEST opinion now. He has ease with all of his moves and hides any struggle. LOOK AT ALL HIS FREAKING FANCAMS!!!!! HE DOES NOT OPEN HIS MOUTH TO BREATHE THIS MAN IS A GENIUS. Also, I feel like he stops going over board at times to not surpass the ability of the other members. He uses all of his muscles to dance etc. It even comes down to the simple things like floor movement, when he needs to get up he does not use his arms to push up to get up while the other members do. He as a unique aura that just draws you too him, he is so satisfying to watch and is such an incredible dancer!

i like how the word over dance is used on the dancers who actually know how to give energ during a dance *sarcasm* hip hop, krump etc requires more energy its not over dancing
I saw another ranking, which was made more recently and you can see how much they improved especially seungkwan, he was ranked 4th or 5th( I don’t clearly remember) , even when he has to sing those high notes a lot of the times he still gives his all in those dance moves, I think people should acknowledge him more for his dance skills

It's a bit odd (also kinda rude) talking about another artist under someone else's post or mv. Yes, everyone wants to be really popular etc but I'm sure the artists themselves would choose quality over quantity. They would rather have the fans understand and be healed through their music and art than be the biggest selling artist which makes less of an impact to the community
under appreciated for sure. From what I know though, a lot of people know about and of seventeen, but I think many are biased by the number of members that they don't appreciate the art as much anymore.

most of kpop dancers nowadays would either lean more on hard movements and excessive body locking or over bending choreo. however, for hoshi, he knows exactly when to be tough and when to smoothly glide with the movements. he perfected his angles and such a perfectionist in his dance. exactly why he's a good dancer
The thing I like about hoshi's dancing is that he doesn't over dance. His control over his body is amazing. And also I'm so so proud of jeonghan. He literally improved so much. I really like his dancing

What most people forget about or don't know is that DK is a Dance Major, his position on the group is Main Vocal, but he graduated with a Major in Dance. So he's like the complete package!!

To explain Jun's undeveloped isolations:
As a teenager, he had injured himself on the waist during a martial arts competition. He didn’t want to worry his parents about it, so the injury was discovered late, and Jun was diagnosed with spinal tuberculosis. The treatment process for his tuberculosis took around 10 months and still affects his dancing today, as he’s stiff around his waist/hips.
Either way, he's still a fantastic dancer now!!!

I don't think he's being careful about it. As an injured dancer myself i think his movility range decreased, an injurie itself makes it happen and there are rumors that he went into surgery so its even worse.
but even though he has a past injury he's still making a good performance and I didn't even notice that he has a past injury because he is such a nice dancer

hoshi is indeed the most versatile and he has a speed-centered technique that makes his dancing captivating
dino's technique is centerded around sharpness and precision, which is why i disagree about the over-dancing, dino has by far the best body control in svt, no matter how much power he puts in, every move is so detailed and precise, which makes is dancing very satisfying to watch in my opinion
Well even dino really admires hoshi's dancing skills. And to add that hoshi really isn't the cover type of a dancer that shows their dancing skills often is really amazing. Low-key amazing

Jun truly is so underrated. If Jun was not that 'shy', then Hoshi and Dino would be in trouble. He gonna be a big competitor for the both main dancer. Many fans agree on that. Jun isn't that interested in dancing like the other three perf unit members, but he would beat them if he were to be passionate about it. Despite his injury and his height (182cm), Jun is an mind-blowing dancer and pretty much a beast on stage like Hoshi. Their stage presence is insane. Both also have the most views on their dance-heavy fancams. Jun has the same potential like Taemin or Ten or Jimin. He is just not into extending that, plus he is extremely shy and loses all self-confidence when he has to dance alone, which is super devastating and sad. He really has to work on his self-confidence. Until now, you can clearly see that he is not that confident. The Jun back before 2017 was screaming like S.coups during lives and dancing like the most confident king ever. Now he is on a soft sweet voice trip, don't dare to voice, laughs at the end of every sentence and falls back deliberately to leave the spotlight to the others. Many people call him childish and don't take him serious (his person and his skills as a dancer and singer). This way he loses more confidence. I hope fans can stop calling him that and see him for what he is. The purest, kindest and most talented person I've seen, someone who needs to be freed from his cage.

I've always thought Woozi is the best dancer in SVT aside from performance team, he has an ability to make emotions and passion shine through his movements alone and is extremely fluid.

I'm really proud and not surprised that DK's dance ability ranks high because he majored in tap and acrobatic dance back when he was in high school... I think that's what gave him an edge compared to his other members :)
I think DK focuses more on his singing skills now, so his dance may release some power to maintain the steady breathing while singing. But he is still a amazing performer in my heart !

ah everytime i think of jun's hip stiffness i get a bit emotional. permanent damage from his childhood (i think it was due to overworking or maybe a martial arts injury) and it sucks it still effects him now. can still outdance and outperform so it's obvious he doesn't let anything hold him back!!
I would personally put Vernon in higher position because for me he's one of the members who can deliver best their choreographies and I often see him center a lot. As to Jun, I would still put him on 4th place only because when it comes to freestyling, he's not that confident as much as other perf unit members. On the stiffness of his waist, his injury when he was younger can be one of the reasons. But I often see how Jun's height is not listed to his disadvantages as dancer when he's actually the 2nd tallest member. He's one of the best center in the group too. I don't know how to properly explain it but it feels like their most balance formation is when he is on the center. And he's actually the perf unit member with the least experience on dancing 'cause he only started learning it when he joined pledis but it's amazing how he's really doing well even during their trainee days. And I personally really enjoy his fancams 'cause I've always thought he has the best facial expressions alongside Dino.
And finally someone saying Dino is the best hiphop dancer in the group!
I would also like to add that I would rank Jun higher if when it's about delivering choreographies. He's one of the most detailed and precised dancer in the group.

My personal opinions (as a non dancer)
-Vernon's technic is under looked, I think he sometimes lacks consistency but he has really great technic and clean moves. In my personal case I got tricked by his body posture, not one of the best, that made me underestimate his abilities.
-Seungkwan has really some of the cleanest moves in the group (ft Woozi)
-Joshua has a great body and I would "take advantage" of his arms muscles and chest to give him specific spotlight in choreographies, for example with handstands or worm rolls (we all know he is great at both)
-Wonwoo and Jun are the most elegant dancers (ft Woozi).
-Jun has the strongest stamina.
-Hoshi is one of the most versatile and energetic dancers in kpop but I have noticed a little "weakness" (if we should call it like that): sometimes he overdances. I actually think it's more of his dancing style rather than a weakness.
-If I think about Dino I think about potential. He is already fantastic now but I can sense a lot of unexplored potential too.
-Dk is easily the all rounded in group, together with Hoshi and Woozi.

As a dancer, I don’t think that Hoshi has a tendency to overdance. He’s extremely consistent. Dino however does have a tendency to over dance quite often. (Dino is my bias wrecker)

Jeonghan really became such an amazing performer. His under dancing most of the time is due to his stamina. He really gets tired easily and when they get packed schedule it takes toll on his health.
I am glad he is taking care of his health better and seems improved his stamina too.
Jeonghan's body control,good rythm,flexibility and facial expressions are his strengths.
I am glad to know his technique is quiet decent when he is an emotional type of dancer.

Honestly, Chan's dancing skills are so underappreciated, he has very good facial expressions, and he has really stage presence. Seungkwan is a very good dancer tho, its just the average standard within svt that is already way higher than normal tbh they're just a whole team of insane performers. Seungkwan is very good at making each move very distinct and clear too, and other idols who try to learn svt choreo for cover for exemple have often used his fancams for reference specifically, since his moves are clear and easy to follow
as a carat since debut, i am so proud for each member especially hoshi..we know hoshi as leader performance team but not all of us know what's his main strengths or advantage as main dancer and nowwww we know :) and seventeen with 13 members still can be one of the most synchronised kpop group is just amazing as always

Among all of 3rd gen of K-Pop, Seventeen is still the best one at dancing and performance. We can't compare 3rd gen (dance perform) to 4th gen, since the market focus is différent, but Seventeen is another one and still on top.

for dino, i think he's one of the greatest dancer in kpop industry if not the whole music industry itself. i think carats especially need to start appreciating his hardwork. i am no dancer but bro anyone can tell he hit all the moves perfectly. hoshi is seriously so so good too. his fluidity in his moves and his expression. he was never overdo anything n never limit his move. i always thought svt doesn't have much opportunity to show their dance skill individually. the only time they show is during the dance battle in idol room which i think doesn't give much justice to every member since they make it as a joke. n please carats go watch dino danceology and the8's dance they are so good in that.

I've really enjoyed Dino's dance videos. He has such power and great facial expressions.
One of my favorite Hoshi clips is one of him dancing to this song I think it's called bad. His dancing is soo smooth and satisfying to watch. He makes it looks so easy and effortless.
I just really love this group. Their performances are some of the best in the industry. Even as their "worst" dancer Seungkwan is such a competent dancer. I absolutely love how he executes his lil solo dance move in Fear.

i don't think Dino overdanced. the better term is "Extend" he was extending his movement to give the eyes of the audience the balance and synchronized illusion. And that made him a really smart dancer. ♥️💎

Seventeen is so underrated as a performance group they are specially known for their synchronisation but their choreos are so unique and beautiful at the same time hard also. Their choreo fits so beautifully with the song even tho one can not understand the lyrics but still through their perfect choreos the songs became more enjoyable.

Sometimes weight influences a lot in your dancing. Sometimes being tall and having longer limbs can give the illusion of over dance (adding to much energy to your movements), or having poor technique or maybe you could cut the movements (because you will have to make longer movements than somebody who has shorter limbs). It's just a weakness, but just like Jun you can work on it. Learning more technique to end this "illusions" and stop cuting your movements. Being tall doesn't make you automatically a bad dancer is just a weakness you can solve and work on it. If you have a body, then you have a body to dance

Mingyu wonwoo has more legs percentage 😂 and Jun may be not be best but technical he is very good and that ht is also advantage for him

Vernon has one of the best beat and rhythm sense. He won dingo mafia bcs he can memorize the beat perfectly. Vernon rarely dance so it's hard to rank him in dance lol 😅

I consider hoshi's sharpness in dance is the best among kpop idols. I've never seen someone sharper than hosh
i think most carats first bias was hoshi. The first time i watched their performances, he was the one that i observed a lot, his dance is so perfect (idk how to say this, i'm not a dancer), he gave me a reason to start discovering svt as a whole
They're all an amazing dancers 😊❣️❣️but I feel sad for Junie's waist injury and when I came to know about it, I realised why his waist or hip movements sometimes seem stiff 😭but despite that his dance moves are always satisfying to watch...his body proportions especially is perfect to make any movement perfect 😍❤️❤️

It's good that you picked up on Jun's stiffness at the waist. He actually has an old injury there that still affects him and he's talked about having to work harder to compensate and work around it

Vernon should be ranked higher 😭 I will give my HONEST opinion now. He has ease with all of his moves and hides any struggle. LOOK AT ALL HIS FREAKING FANCAMS!!!!! HE DOES NOT OPEN HIS MOUTH TO BREATHE THIS MAN IS A GENIUS. Also, I feel like he stops going over board at times to not surpass the ability of the other members. He uses all of his muscles to dance etc. It even comes down to the simple things like floor movement, when he needs to get up he does not use his arms to push up to get up while the other members do. He as a unique aura that just draws you too him, he is so satisfying to watch and is such an incredible dancer!

I saw another ranking, which was made more recently and you can see how much they improved especially seungkwan, he was ranked 4th or 5th( I don’t clearly remember) , even when he has to sing those high notes a lot of the times he still gives his all in those dance moves, I think people should acknowledge him more for his dance skills
The performance team is incredible obviously, but Woozi amazing like he's so talented and can out dance other group main dancer.
