Don't forget that Portugal has a difference of 1 hour to Spain, so if starts in Lisbon at 16h ,in Spain is already 17h ,and in August in Portugal you don't need lights before 20h45 ,21h ,if the schedule they announced is keeped, there won't be the problem they had on the previous Vuelta Espana! Just wanna say thanks to you guys, love to listen all of you which one with his opinions, great job and keep the good work!!
Really looking forward to seeing Matthew Riccitello. The Sepp Kuss of the future.
Great show as always. Glad to see yall back. Every time The Move is on I’m watching. Have a good day
🥵🚴😊
This will be good. Can Primoz beat Kuss without Kuss? It seems UAE has the same "I am Sparticus" disease Jumbo had last year and given Joao Almeida seems unreliable supporting his team lead (per TDF performance), can they gell to put one man on top. Wout's hungry, Brandon McNaulty's very hungry, Landa's skilled and hungry, Martinez is talented young and hungry. Sepp will need a good lieutenant to pull it off. Where is Sepp's "Sepp"?
Great show today
Thanks guys, I'll love it if it is the van Aert / Roglič show 🙌 Looking forward to the race and your coverage! By far, the best lineup for cycling coverage on The Move IMO.
Roglic should win, he did not crash last year, he already crashed twice this year, so he should be fine in the Vuelta. Kuss will not be allowed to break away gaining minutes on the favourites as he did last year.
Very good preview show!
Great show. Primoz crashes out too often, I'm done calling him the favorite. Also, he is the second oldest WT race winner this year, behind only Mark Cavendish. And I'm tired of watching UAE fight each other when Pogacar isn't there to make them behave. OTOH, Danny Martinez got 2nd in the Giro, really the winner behind Pogacar, who was riding a different race. Roglic will be a great teammate if he crashes out of GC contention but is still riding well.
Did you say " libson"?
Lol laughed at that too!
It is the capital of Porgutal
José Azevedo country
Yeah from Olipsipo 😅
I'm holding my opinion. Looking forward to see if Kuss can defend his title. His rivals now aren't the level he faced at Burgos. So we shall see.
First time Sepp gets to go full blast in the opening TT. Hope he does OK.
I guess we better get used to 5 minute infomercials at the beginning of each show
gtcc the same way; both should consider making better content
In a race almost without sprinters, there won't be teams to control the race, and with so many stages up and down, with so many climbs, even with a very good team if you don't have the legs, sooner or later you will lose time, it will be one of the hardest race of this century, if the shape isn't there for one or two stages even your deluxe gregarios could help you! It will be a brutal 3 weeks ,the most regular have a big chance to win and will help a lot to be very above the middle in the ITT ,last stage like TDF 24 .
There is of course a good reason why Uijtdebroeks has,'t made the same step as Jorgenson this season, while both a re new to the team this season. Jorgenson signed a contract with Visma in March 2023 already and did get support from Visma straight away, despite the fact that he still had to ride eight/nine months for Movistar. Uijtdebroeks signed in December and started ten months later with the same kind of support that Jorgenson did get.
I expect Cian to make big steps in 2025, although not all riders do always make the same kind of progress of course. Just look at Atila Valter.... When he came from FDJ, I was thinking that he could maybe grow towards a top five result in A Grand Tour... But after two seasons with Visma, it is clear that this is never ever gonna happen.
Would love to see Sepp win but don't think it will happen not sure he would have won last year if he had not gained the extra time on the one stage when the other team made a mistake.
Why was Carapaz not at Olympics why did thry leave him out??
Not ending grand tour with sprint stage is a mistake, in my opinion. Sprinters have nothing to stay for till the end and abandon in last week. ITT should be on stage 20, last decisive stage, strongest rider wins. Good luck to everyone, safe race. 🙏
Triva question error: it requires us to select one of the 3x champions, while the only person to win it 4x is not one of the options...
The question was not to select one of the riders that won it three times already, but to select Roberto Heras who won it four times already.
@@swissbiggy yes, and he wasn't an option to select, so there was an error.
@@swissbiggy I just checked and it appears they've fixed it now; it WAS an error when I made my original comment though lol
Ans. Roberto Heras 🇪🇦
Unable to put the correct answer in the Trivia question.
Roberto Heras 4x
Not correct answer. Is the first question a push?
You should listen better to what they ask. They ask the name of the rider who won the Vuelta four times. Thus Roberto Heras.
No....really? Poll was broken when they first posted it as Roberto Heras was not one of the options.
I keep hoping Pogacar will line up at the start.
Me too😊..I have been saying since the Giro that he will do all 3 tours...but not this time...shame,I think he could have achieved it 😊
Rogrash incoming
I feel for Almeida this is his only chance ever to win a grand tour if he doesnt do this what grand tour can he ever win? Unfortuantely the fastest guys do the tdf and are just a step above Almeida. Then the Vuelta has steep climbs at ludicrous incline its rediculous. Why are all the races just finidng out who the best climber in the world is rather than thr best all round rider like in 90s.
Why isn’t lance on his own podcast?!
I thought Cavendish would show up and try to sweep all those sprint stages!
😂
Glad to see Spencer is back with the main guys. He deserves it. His little nuggets of information are amazing and a great addition for all pro cycling nerds.
Spencer is relentlessly mid, I do not understand
What does that mean?
Seems to be an error on your trivia question
The answer is Heras. 4x winner
@@swissbiggy I know. it just wasn't a choice on the trivia
I think Theo Geoghan Hart could be on the podium
Have you even checked his results from the last months ?? He's not even getting close of a top 25 result.
Kiss will not win with Roglic on another team. Yates and Almeida will contend
Almeida ftw
Sepp was very lucky to win last year and my call is he will never win another grand tour…he isn’t as good as you Americans like to think
Keep coping
If he didn’t ride the giro, didn’t help carry Jonas to a decisive win in the tour, and wasn’t attacked by his teammates maybe you would have an argument.
Probably, but IF he ever wins a GT again its going to be the Vuelta.
@@GonzoJohnny I’m now starting to think you’re right 😂
In Libson😂
I like Sepp a lot, but last year was a gift, let's be honest. If Primoz and Jonas gave it full gas, Sepp would have been dropped a few times. One of those great "political" victories that Lance and George go on about, I guess.
Sepp repeats.
why is Ayuso not in?
Covid and not at his best yet- per UAE and Juan himself.
he doesn't want to ride for almeida
I dont believe in this business of not recovered. Sep Kuss showed u can do 3 grand tours at your peak. Miles in the legs with months between is the best conditioning u can have. Remco proved it too by being 3rd at tdf and best time trialist then winning the Olympic TT as well as road race. WVA and MVP both were using the tour for training bothe didnt achieve much at Olympics as per their level.
I think he's hunting a new team. Not sure when his contract is up. This is what happens when you don't get any of the spill at the tdf.
Roglic > Yates > Almeida > Carapaz > C. Rodríguez, Kuss, Mas, all the other dudes
Healthy Roglic, yes.
Almeida 1st
Williams Donna Thompson Donald Davis Linda
Sepp can win it if his team does not attack him like last year!!
Yeah sure, and I will be US president.....
And by the way, they didn't even realy attack him last year. That Vuelta win was a 100% gift, and a once in a life time event... Never ever in his career will he ride top five in a Grand Tour anymore.
@swissbiggy ..too true 😊
@@swissbiggy Interesting, I must have watched a different race. Because when you are in Red, and your team leaves you instead of helping you well.. Good luck on your trip to the White house..
Kuss « winning » the Vuelta again….are we serious? If he finishes this year , it will be a success.
Everyone knows more than I do, but I don't see Kuss on the podium. He's an awesome rider, for sure. Primoz and Jonas owe a debt of gratitude for their victories to Sepp(aka Mr Sepptember). But either of them could have beat Sepp last year in the Vuelta, easily. Without the cycling gods (and two of the strongest climbers in the world) smiling on Sepp last year he'd only have been top ten.
Maybe the cycling gods will lift him again? 🙌
You do know that Sepp has finished 5 Vueltas, don't you?
@@billy4227 of course, and I remember the 2019 epic battle between a 19 years old prodigy from Slovenia and Roglic…
I always cheer for Sepp Kuss when I am on the side of the roads of the Tour de France, but when I hear he’s in great form this year, I scratch my head: Am I crazy, or…
Last year was a concourse of circumstances, let’s be real. Go Sepp!
