A little thing about the "Save Me" Wall, in case nobody else has said it yet. If you look at the writing on the wall upside down, it reads "I'm Fine." Both "Save Me" and "I'm Fine" are songs made by BTS. And actually, the beginning of both songs are the same sound so they're already directly connected. "Fake Love" was released before "I'm Fine" was so technically, that was a little easter egg/teaser that they put in for the name of an upcoming song. It also represents how sometimes when we say "I'm Fine" we actually aren't. In reality, we want someone to save us from our misery and talk to us. It's about how we say one thing, but actually want the opposite.
About "the Magic Shop" as a technique, for what I got from the book it comes from, the idea is to help yourself break out of anxiety or bad thoughts in general by trying to focus on a positive experience or a feeling from a good memory which you can relate to the bad one but "overrides" it? The book is nice storytelling mixed with self-help and I relate the technique to mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. Not sure if I really "got it" but that's what I got from it
The hands in the sculpture form See/Hear/Speak no evil. Reflected in the choreo. Addressing the many taboos that make people hide their struggles by not acknowledging them.

Fake Love and Love Yourself Tear holds a special place in my heart. My favorite album changes from time to time. Their discography is so diverse I cannot pick a favorite, but Tear era is when I experience my second comeback as an ARMY, and it was an experience like no other. I was a baby ARMY in DNA era so I don't know much about the comeback season, likes things to look forward to, things to do, where to see the performances and so on. Weeks before the Tear comeback I made a twitter account, and that was when I fully experience what it means for BTS to have a comeback. All the theories, performances, photos, Bangtan's interactions with ARMY, there's just so many things I was missing out on the first comeback. On one tweet someone is gushing about the boy's visuals, the next tweet you will see mind blowing theories related to the BU. It was overwhelming, but so fun at the same time.
Fun fact: The songs Save Me and I’m Fine connect to each other. Also in the MV for Fake Love in the mirror it says Save Me but if you flip it is says I’m Fine! I think it cool how they connect !!
So here's my little personal theory about this video: So the lantern that you see in the video. There's a flower inside of it at the beginning and Jin is in the room as well. The flower itself represents love but that love is inside of a lantern where you can't actually reach it, so in a way it's fake love. When the chorus drops for the first time, we see a bunch of debris fly in through the windows and Jin tries to protect the flower within the lantern but ultimately fails, representing trying to protect this fake and toxic love but fake love never lasts. The flower turns to dust. Flash forward to the cut scene where Jungkook is walking through the room with the waterfall in it. There's the lantern again on top of a pile of dust. Jungkook takes some of it in his hands and it ends up turning into flower petals (some of them shaped like hearts). He created new love. But it's different this time. It's self-love, because he made it with his own two hands. It's real and free love that's floating all around the room instead of being trapped within a lantern where you can't reach it. I would also like to point out that the name of this trilogy is Love Yourself. *cough* And that on the front of Love Yourself: Her's album cover is the image of a flower. For me, this entire trilogy represents a story: Love Yourself: Her - The story of a beautiful love that in reality is very toxic and fake. Love Yourself: Tear - The story of finally letting that "love" die. Love Yourself: Answer - The story of finally figuring out that you need to love yourself for who you are. You shouldn't have to completely change yourself for another person who wouldn't do the same for you. You finally have the ANSWER. It's really beautiful and I hope you enjoyed my Ted Talk. 😅
I love that shot where he's standing by the sink and as the camera pans out you see he's trapped, look at the floor it's wooden floor board and they are painted blue except for the bit he's standing in It's like he's painted the floor boards but inadvertantly painted himself into a corner unable to escape the room until the paint dries. As someone who gardens I know the phrase 'I grow a flower but it couldn't bloom' in gardening it means you grow a flower plant from a seed so the roots, stem and leaves grow it could also mean the bud of the flower formed but something stop it from blooming eg the flower head itself never open it bascially for flower died before it could open/bloom.

The hardest part being a fan of BTS, if you dont really dive into everything, mv, ahort films, bu contents, webtoons, etc you wont get a 100% grasp of what's happening. You'll get the idea pf the song, but the whole timeline and connected stories is confusing. Only hardcore fans can do that like diving into that rabbit hole. I cant go any deeper especially the webtoon. I am okay appreciating BTS beinf bts, the personality, the songs and what it means. Sometimes the MVs have this confuisng details that is ties with everything that i cannot really understand 🤣
Not sure if someone has mentioned, its not just romantic relationships you put a mask on. There are people who do it with their parents, siblings, other family, friends....this can literally take over someone's life.

you need to watch their wings solos and highlight reels to understand those things they exchanged for... also, there is a director's cut version of this (maybe the japanese one) with an extended ending and showed who thise masked people are. plus, this rabbit hole have no definite ending (as far as i know) coz after all the teasers, notes, and mvs, the company decided to release the bts game where it continues based on player's choices.

If You have watched the extended version it contains part , which explains the part from a teaser. Kookie it wasn't shown what he has exchanged yet if we base it on BU it might be himself for a sake of the other members , in BU it kind of looked like he thinks he is the cause of their misery, cause at end he is facing himself. Due they exchanging their traumas for positive attitude it doesn't mean the positive is good. Hobi exchanged chocolate bar the snickers which was given to him by his mother which abandoned him at the amusement park when he was like a 5 years old child ( as we know after this event he developed narcolepsy , thats what he thought yet it was Munchausen syndrome in which the person thinks is ill and develops the symptoms themselves yet they healthy, we can count it like childs behaviour which is doing it for mother attention and affection to receive it when he or lacks of it) for a cake the birthday cake he has received before from a friend. Jimin exchanged the photo of flower arboretum which upholds the memory of the murder of a child which he witnessed onto the umbrella in highlight reel we saw him using it in a rain but it does not brought a good memory. Yoongi exchanges the lighter for a lollipop which previously was given to him by a girl with a guitar. Namjoonie is exchanging the part of a broken mirror with written "we must survive" onto a hair band of a girl which he met , they were traveling by the same bus he picked it up, and placed it on her backpack while she was asleep. Jin has exchanged the ear piece which was used by him to report to a director, the director of the school threatened him to reveal the members base or he will tell everything to his father. Tae we can not see what he is exchanging yet we can consider a broken bottle which he has used to stab his father or a photo of his mother, for the backpack to which a girl was stealing goods from an convenience store he was working for.
There is also a very minor theory that the relationship they reference is with the fans or the music industry. Even with I Need U, it kinda fits too as if the “girl” is the industry. That’s the beauty of their music, it can fit so many relationships beyond the simple girl boy
No spoilers. But write down things you see members get from the magic shop and try to find those items in Highlights reels... and the things members exchange is all there in earlier BU mvs.

Anyway, in the BU, apparently, J-Hope was abandoned by his mother at a fair or carnival near a merry-go-round. She handed him a Snickers and said she'd be right back, but never came back. (Not real life, but in the BU). Thus the sadness/despair on the pile of Snickers. The flower that can't be bloomed in a dream that can't come true - I take that to mean that the flower is the 2nd person in the relationship that the first person tried to grow or mold into someone they wanted, but it was not going to happen in reality. Therefore, the flower (Person 2) couldn't bloom and it was just a dream of Person 1 instead. I believe I remember RM saying at one point that this song was written for the BTS members. In that light, maybe they were all feeling like they were growing into Fake people with the fame they started to have, but it wasn't who they felt they truly were inside. Not sure. It also could have been relationships within the group. We'll never likely know for sure. One last thing - SAVE ME - is another song of theirs....followed by I"M FINE.
I think about the chocolate bars as people who are being changed by the one they love into something they don't recognise as themselves anymore will often turn to something to smooth themselves be it sweet things like chocolate and cakes, or drink or drugs or self harm. What they thought was love has killed their own love of themselves just to please the other person isn't really love it's fake love. There's also the thing were I can't remember who but one of them is left my their mother as a child in a park of some kind after she give him a bar of chocolate I think it was a snickers chocolate bar but I might be wrong.
There are a ton more content you still have to watch in order to try to piece things better & even then it might still be confusing. Some of the universe is on game apps & webtoons, apart from all videos, which includes the Wings short films. If you lose patience & get fed up, go to xCeleste's youtube channel. She has several videos on the universe theories, summaries, explanations, storylines & updates. It is indeed a bit of an overload & tediousness into all. You would need to be a diehard army to piece things together. But in the end, no one knows about it more than Hybe/Bighit. I think not even the BTS boys themselves know all the details. And the universe is still somewhat ongoing. It's just that they are on some hiatus from the storyline. Some have said that Film Out has been the latest & last part of the BU so far, but who knows.
I think you can be momentarily happy on top of a giant mound of candy but candy is not good for you just like Fake Love….it’s like a quick thrill but not real sustainable food like real love.

They actually have a song called save me and that lights turning on in the background are actually phones lighting up it could me couple things they're trying to break free of the suffocating power of social media, the words from haters or just the stress that comes with fame in a digital age
The hardest part being a fan of BTS, if you dont really dive into everything, mv, ahort films, bu contents, webtoons, etc you wont get a 100% grasp of what's happening. You'll get the idea pf the song, but the whole timeline and connected stories is confusing. Only hardcore fans can do that like diving into that rabbit hole. I cant go any deeper especially the webtoon. I am okay appreciating BTS beinf bts, the personality, the songs and what it means. Sometimes the MVs have this confuisng details that is ties with everything that i cannot really understand 🤣
Please do the extended version its more like the rock version its so good and there's extended part at the end 🙏

If You have watched the extended version it contains part , which explains the part from a teaser. Kookie it wasn't shown what he has exchanged yet if we base it on BU it might be himself for a sake of the other members , in BU it kind of looked like he thinks he is the cause of their misery, cause at end he is facing himself. Due they exchanging their traumas for positive attitude it doesn't mean the positive is good. Hobi exchanged chocolate bar the snickers which was given to him by his mother which abandoned him at the amusement park when he was like a 5 years old child ( as we know after this event he developed narcolepsy , thats what he thought yet it was Munchausen syndrome in which the person thinks is ill and develops the symptoms themselves yet they healthy, we can count it like childs behaviour which is doing it for mother attention and affection to receive it when he or lacks of it) for a cake the birthday cake he has received before from a friend. Great reaction. The snickers (my favorite candy bar if you want some useless info...lol). Anyway, in the BU, apparently, J-Hope was abandoned by his mother at a fair or carnival near a merry-go-round. She handed him a Snickers and said she'd be right back, but never came back. (Not real life, but in the BU). Thus the sadness/despair on the pile of Snickers. The flower that can't be bloomed in a dream that can't come true - I take that to mean that the flower is the 2nd person in the relationship that the first person tried to grow or mold into someone they wanted, but it was not going to happen in reality. Therefore, the flower (Person 2) couldn't bloom and it was just a dream of Person 1 instead. I believe I remember RM saying at one point that this song was written for the BTS members. In that light, maybe they were all feeling like they were growing into Fake people with the fame they started to have, but it wasn't who they felt they truly were inside. Not sure. It also could have been relationships within the group. We'll never likely know for sure. One last thing - SAVE ME - is another song of theirs....followed by I"M FINE.
I think about the chocolate bars as people who are being changed by the one they love into something they don't recognise as themselves anymore will often turn to something to smooth themselves be it sweet things like chocolate and cakes, or drink or drugs or self harm. What they thought was love has killed their own love of themselves just to please the other person isn't really love it's fake love.
There's also the thing were I can't remember who but one of them is left my their mother as a child in a park of some kind after she give him a bar of chocolate I think it was a snickers chocolate bar but I might be wrong.

Some of the universe is on game apps & webtoons, apart from all videos, which includes the Wings short films. If you lose patience & get fed up, go to xCeleste's youtube channel. She has several videos on the universe theories, summaries, explanations, storylines & updates. It is indeed a bit of an overload & tediousness into all. You would need to be a diehard army to piece things together. But in the end, no one knows about it more than Hybe/Bighit. I think not even the BTS boys themselves know all the details. And the universe is still somewhat ongoing. It's just that they are on some hiatus from the storyline. Some have said that Film Out has been the latest & last part of the BU so far, but who knows.

I see it like that. Like I made something happen by bending myself it was hurtful and not nessesery, it should bloom. It was not real dream but something only in head and you did everything to make it happen and lose yourself with it.
