The bed looks terrific- the headboard can be hung on the wall. This allows ease of movement for cleaning, it's quieter if guests are the active types and you can put it at any height you like. So glad Philip is still alive- and even if it doesn't function, the bath looks fab!

Philip is every man everywhere. He half reads instructions and warnings and does things that end up causing some sort of burn, cut, bruising or worse (hopefully not worse). My husband is exactly the same way and I am exactly like Anna and read the directions, wear the safety equipment and strive for perfection (no lazy painting).

My word, that was a busy week. Thank you for showing us the reality of the hard graft that comes with owning and restoring a chateau. I think it's so important to see the true behind-the-scenes effort required to realise this dream lifestyle. Especially as some chatelaines are so badly bullied on this platform.

You've heard this saying..."I saved the best for last", right? WELL, when any new videos are notified to me....I watch the "least interesting" first - the best for last....I'M ABSOLUTELY ENJOYING WATCHING BOTH OF YOU DURING THE RENOVATION....love the French lessons...and Anna - no insult to you and your many talents with creating wallpaper,etc. -BUT I LOOK FORWARD TO "YOUR PHILLIP" AND ALL OF HIS ANTICS - HE HAS A GREAT PERSONALITY AND ITS SO SO FUNNY - THE WAY HE PRESENTS THEM,ETC. I know you agree that he's a nice looking man and

Amazing efforts - bed looks great - our headboard is affixed directly to the wall, you can just pull the bed away for cleaning and seems to make it easier to put on the sheets. Philip is a workplace emergency waiting to happen - please be careful we wouldn’t want to lose him.
