Regarding Free Will : I am sharing my experience, I have Retro 1st, 5th and 9th Lords placed in their Mooltrikona Signs, and for me often I've found this principle working that the more I learn with my efforts( underlined word), the more better it becomes with age... So, I feel if trkon lords (are retro)nicely placed then, the Supreme has bestowed upon us to improve it overtime.

The last question by Shubham regarding personality and character was too good. This is a often ignored topic in Vedic Astrology, compared to western astrology. I guess vedic astro books have focused on Karma and Karma Phal more than character. But at the same time our character is important to understand our innate nature (svabhava).
