hi Allison! I love the part where you talk about how you've been feeling out of balance because it's so relatable. something that has helped me is tracking the different phases of our cycle. usually, a week or two before my period begins (the luteal phase- aka the autumn phase) I tend to feel the way you do, introspective, a bit gloomy, maybe low moods. But knowing why it happens helps me be more mindful about what I need during this phase, and giving myself grace to feel those things. during my (ovulatory phase- aka summer) we feel so inspired, motivated , social, and those are the moments where I plan my social gatherings and get things done. but during those luteal phases, I allow myself to rest, journal, and reflect on the things I need to make peace with and let go of, kind of the way autumn releases the leaves on the trees. anyway, cycle tracking has been very helpful for me to understand my different moods/ energy levels. I hope this helps, or inspires you to check it out :) Pinterest has helpful charts if you type in ( menstrual cycles phases) sending lots of love!

A good starting point for hosting could be doing something online. Doing a digital book club, tabletop games, quiz’s mean you can do get the hang of organizing without having to do everything. Also digital event are super important for disabled people as it allows involvement without physical issues

Monday’s devotion from NMM was just the sweetest!!! I know somebody already said it, but what you said about balancing time by yourself and time with others really made sense to me! I get so physically drained hanging out with people, but I need to remember that those relationships are a gift from God! I need to cherish those moments more and get out of my comfort zone!! Great vlog and love you keeping it real. I find that when I feel down, grumpy or out of sorts, I try to start with the basics to resolve it: a good night's sleep, eat reall good for a couple says and get outside in the sunshine and take relaxing walks. That usually does the trick. Hugs!
You could have a decaf iced coffee in the afternoons 🤷🏽♀️ or maybe try iced matcha lattes? They do have caffeine however from experience they don’t make me jittery, its a different kind of energy.
Not sure if you’ll ever see this, but instead of using paint on your candles, try using melted wax from another candle! I saw this on tik tok and it wasn’t transparent, a little textured, and you don’t have to worry about inhaling paint fumes if you light the candle. just a thought for next time if you wanted to try something different 😊

I love the quote Candace Cameron Bure shared once, we can do it all just not all at once! Life is in seasons! I realized recently I can’t do every healthy good habit for me every single day - that’s a lot of pressure, stress, & burden and it makes it not fun! So I do a couple a day and mix it up throughout the week, that way I get all them in just not all at once!
I kind of feel like the word balance is different for everyone! To me it’s not 50/50 it’s like 10, 30, 40 etc! Different priorities daily can shift things and I just try to have my rhythms but stay flexible!
I hear what you’re saying about like just powers and principalities battling against us daily and like being around positive people helps, but all of this the Bible talks on and that’s definitely where I look to gain perspective and wisdom in all this! I think the world has twisted and distorted the Bible to say what it wants, and so now I’m careful to discern between new age concepts, and instead I love going back to the Bible and really rooting myself in God’s Truth, which is the whole Truth as I navigate! 🤍🦋🌷

I had a moment like this just the other day, so I sat and talked to my husband and we both concluded that I was making life just to busy and came up with some good strategies. It’s important not to overload our days, make sure you make time to relax and have some quiet time for devotions or self care. I think we all feel like this from time to time💖

I feel like there is something in the air because I have been feeling in a mood this month as well. Especially that I am a full time student in college so it gets me more in a mood than usual. I sometimes try to give myself some free time, but it's hard to have that when I have homework and wedding planning in my head. This is a little late, but you can try a decaf espresso tonic. You just make decaf espresso shots and then add tonic water (like san pelligrino). The sodium bicarbonate in the water decreases the acidity of the espresso making it taste smooth. It’s zero calories and sugar free. My husband and I can’t get enough of them. And it’s decaf, so no jitters. ❤

Hello! I have a cool idea for a cooking challenge! There is a popular game "blind, deaf, mute" on TH-cam and tiktok. The essence of the game is that three participants are taken, of which one cannot see (he is blindfolded), the second cannot hear (ear plugs and headphones are put on him), and the third cannot speak (usually his mouth is taped), and that’s it. They must somehow cooperate and perform certain tasks.
I know this is really counterintuitive but would you be willing film one of your sabbath days? I’ve always wanted to try it out but I’m not sure what that looks like. It’s okay if you choose not to, I respect that. If that’s the case, would be willing chat about it more in depth?

I had to give up coffee several years ago because of an ulcer, and my herbalist recommended an organic coffee alternative called Dandy Blend which has dandelion root. As a bonus it’s good for digestion.

Allison I love your videos! I think we all get in those moods like you were talking about. I know I get like that after Christmas cause I love it so much. But you inspired me to start a raised bed garden! So that is what I’m working on and prepping for and that definitely made my mood change and I’ve been listening to the Bible recap. Definitely lifts my spirits and soul ❤I watch your videos over and over. You inspire me to even want to try a you tube channel myself. Another favorite thing you do of mine is coffee time! That’s a must for me coffee in the morning and my afternoon coffee.and then my chamomile tea at night.❤
I love coffee but also cannot have it every day. I do green tea & chamomille with lavender and I add a dash of creamer to each. It helps me fill the coffee void lol. Also, random thought but I've been wanting to tell you guys for a while lol, the long hair and beard on Brandon really suits him well! Love your dreamy content, as always. :)
