What you've mentioned about first mover and second mover advantage is so important and a lot of fanboys realize this but can't seem to comprehend this.
I have owned a Hadean Bamboo now since they first came out, a few mods just make them better, padded dope grip tape, foot stops for those unexpected moments, and Omni AT gear drive no more belts to worry about and best of all the board free wheels like a traditional skateboard, all those things just make it a perfect ride on an endless wave.
You’re completely right about evolve. They paved the way. And after riding my dad’s Hadean alongside my hurricane, you just can’t compete with evolves quality. It’s an amazing board.
I recently received the Calvary. The medium flex deck for my 180lb riding weight is amazing. It has just the right amount of flex without any weird torsional twisting along the deck. Considerably more comfort on longer rides. The 11’ width is amazing and the concave allows for more control. I think this is the best deck/enclosure system on the market.
I’m really loving my Calvary. They have been amazing with customer service and stay active in the esk8 community. It really does shine offroad. It really is an amazing true all terrain board. Iv beat the hell outta mine already and I’m barely cracking 100miles😂 great review. Really liking this company so far🤘🤘
Thanks Chris for that "first move advantage" explained...it is quite accurate & essentially how the market functions & developes. Hopefully most can figure out that benchmark is being used loosely...wink- wink.😉 Boosted was once kinda benchmark too... we now know those 2 produced ordinary spec boards but really well marketed with a dash of first move luck. 😂
Love the improved grip tape design! I agree with you on the trigger design although I like the smaller size of the scroll wheel. The $15k efoil boards also went with a trigger design Besides the subtle flex and the 7 inch wheels , I still don’t think I could could justify the extra $500 over the price of the Propel Pivot GT.
Could you compare the performance of the Acedeck Ares X1 2023 with these two boards.... Acedeck is far more powerful and has a decent support.... Acedeck all the way imo... 😊
Can you please review the acedeck boards, i can't decide between a acedeck or haden, both pretty much the same price after shiping the acedeck to the uk and the acedeck has a 14s4p battery, help please advise me
I just ordered a calvary and there was a brand new package for cnc trucks with a new 6 amp charger so I believe this means a faster charge time for the board. I'll update this comment after I receive my board and record the charger time.
@maximgodunov7717F No actually. It already shipped to the US but is stuck at a customs inspection facility near Compton California. I contacted omw about it but there is nothing they can do to expedite the shipping until it clears customs.
Now I love my Evolve GTR Carbon, tonnes of fun! But Evolves UK customer service has been so terrible it's completely put me off buying again, I sent my board in for the charging port to be replaced, it took them over a month to get it back to me with terrible communication/updates. It was then I realised it was my last month of free warranty and they just so happened to return it me after it expired... I'd be keen to find a new company with better customer service in the UK.
hellz no. love the trigger. im a motorcycle rider. dirtbike rider, manual trans/fast car driver, and atv rider. im very much used to separate throttle and separate break. sharing a throttle and a break with one device makes it a little less precise. i also started on a gtr then got scroll wheels later. so the ppl that starter on scroll wheels, they dont want to simply get used to trigger and just say it sucks cuz they dont wanna keep at it. but u cant beat that precision, colored screen and features ✅
Hi. I'm in California and the site says they ship from there. I can't find a customer service number that I can go over options. Do you know if this company has 1?
In the US, Many of the Chinese brands have their boards shipped from US(California) warehouses. I bet the US is still the biggest market. A few of them may have one or two US based employees to handle customer service. However, I’d say most of them don’t have a US number. They probably prefer you to text or email. If you absolutely have to call, it can be done via WHATSAPP or WeChat.
No my fellow rider not delusional...from the business aspect boosted & evolve "for some" folks are benchmark *please bear with this longer reply... ...you might be right regarding what is the "benchmark" in your opinion which cannot be challenged as it is thru some way formed thru experiences etc, etc...I agree Evolve is not all that...a pretty expensive board that is more a cosmetic than high performance ( e.g. weak top speed • motor quality & in earlier instances a faulty remote plus spotty support) customers have spoken. However Chris has the job to speak in general and make it palatable for the general audience ( gotta get viewers) and in that way the statement of Evolve being a benchmark is that Evolve is actually benchmark like BOOSTED was sort of benchmark but in reality we can agree was ( like Evolve) sort of pretty ordinary performing board. Evolve taking a hugely prideful stance creates it's own haters crowd perhaps by bigging themselves up as the benchmark or the best board available and we know that is not true. The market is now full of higher performance mid tier boards at much lower prices. Again it is all a matter of opinion/preferred product but that gets cleared up when a new company entering the market just drops a monster at a price $800.00 lower than a "EVOLVE". EXWAY atlas tried at $2800 hundred same board now around $1600.00 reality dictates people see thru the b.s. sooner or later. Some companies kind of trigger comparisons & hate all done by their own behaviors... honestly Evolve has done well sales-wise like Future Motion sense of privilege regarding owning everything One Wheel essentially its greedy but understandable as that's the rudest form of business practices that often produce at least at first high revenue... Later on when the crowd figures things are actually faulty coupled with low or no service that "second move Chris saying benchmark should trigger plenty responses & views🤔. ... Appreciate your view tho...btw what board do you use most?
What you've mentioned about first mover and second mover advantage is so important and a lot of fanboys realize this but can't seem to comprehend this.
I'm glad you're making content again I really like your view on boards, I have a couple boards but I find myself grabbing my gtr bamboo .

Love to see you review the Mboards Interstellar 2.0 with AT wheels.
time to switch to 47” pullies with the 7” my man! you’d love it. barely takes away the power off the line too ✅🤘🏼
Thanks Chris for that "first move advantage" explained...it is quite accurate & essentially how the market functions & developes. Hopefully most can figure out that benchmark is being used loosely...wink- wink.😉
Boosted was once kinda benchmark too... we now know those 2 produced ordinary spec boards but really well marketed with a dash of first move luck. 😂
Thanks for all the eskate stuff Chris, you are awesome!!
Chris what helmet is that? looks decent with the built in LED's
Keep it up, I'm getting into skateboarding and these videos are helpful.
Glad we could help
Love the improved grip tape design!

Besides the subtle flex and the 7 inch wheels , I still don’t think I could could justify the extra $500 over the price of the Propel Pivot GT.
You might like new Rexus remote from Exway. It doesn't do same as Evolve's remote but it's got some interesting features.
I just heard about OMW. Glad to see this video. I have a Hadean and was wondering if OMW was any good.
Omw has raised the bar they have made other companies quiver. Their boards are legit quality and they dont deviate from comfort.
Thx for you videos Just going to get an e-skate, dosel this one recharge the battery when breaking? Thx a lot for all, hi from spain
Could you compare the performance of the Acedeck Ares X1 2023 with these two boards.... Acedeck is far more powerful and has a decent support.... Acedeck all the way imo... 😊
I tried many boards on eskatecon omw is the one of board i feel flexible, safe, and comfort… its the best board
This was amazing :D Would you ever review the Vesta Osprey carbon VS Evolve Hadean?
Thank you ! I’d love to if I could get one
Where can you get an OMW in the UK?
What would u pick.. the diablo or OMW?
Hello I love your reviews, and I'd love for you guys to review my electric skateboard from raith (when it finally comes) 😂 get in touch
Can you please review the acedeck boards, i can't decide between a acedeck or haden, both pretty much the same price after shiping the acedeck to the uk and the acedeck has a 14s4p battery, help please advise me

Have you received the board?

What do you think about the BC3?
Ehi mate thanks a lot. I have a budget of 700 euros for an all terrain board. Can you suggest me the best one? Please thanks
5 Months later and still waiting on that wowgo video that you were going to make
The OMG...I mean OMW looks nice. The range is nice as well. Service....service. I'll stick with Evolve

I think may be the only bloke who prefers a trigger remote over a scroll wheel 😂

Evolve is basically the Apple of esk8. Underwhelming ridiculously overpriced products with exceptional marketing

It's kind of funny how one of the poopiest brands(nice in some ways poopy in other ways) is what sets the bars.
Not even reverseeee brroooo
This guys are delusional…evolve benchmark for electric skateboards 😂😂😂
Is evolve pay you for this nonsense?
what else would you reccomend as a benchmark ? serious question.... im looking to retire my Haden as its tried to kill me a few times unfortunatley !
Trampa?
Genuinely don't know, moved over to onewheels for a couple of years. Thinking about mountain boards again now.
@@lewwylately7467 Yeah Trampa are decent... just the price of them reflect this ! and there not light but who carries them around anyway !
