Unfortunately this video was age restricted, not sure as to why. Maybe too much ass talk. I've been thrown out of many family gatherings for such issues
29:21 Going on about "lost legacy" as an underlying theme, there's also the subplot of Nadine's own legacy to live up to with the Shoreline PMC she had inherited from her father. This is why she was at the beginning still determined to retake Shoreline after losing it "on her watch" after the events in Uncharted 4 but by the end decides to sever ties with the PMC and go her own way and work with Chloe instead.
No there’s also Uncharted 1. They didn’t get the treasure they were looking for originally but they did leave with a fuck ton of golden spanish doubloons
30:00 this moment, the culmination of Chloe Frazer's own history with her deceased father's connection to the Hoysala treasure feels way more meaningful and impactful compared to the so many times Lara Croft has to somehow tie in the treasure she's looking for with her own dead dad. She's not constantly moping or stating that she's on this quest to find the treasure "for her dad" or to finish what he started or left off. We do find out that Chloe's treasure hunter father had in fact made it further than she'd realized, and the proof was subtle but in her possession all along. And that revelation lends greater weight to the legacy and journey she's on, as his simple act of sending her that piece not only inspires/motivates her to find this tusk but also ensures that the tusk would not so easily fall into the wrong hands without that missing piece.
Well you can say Chloe is the true embodiment of Lara Croft without even trying to be a discount Lara Croft. Like her plot with nadine. And the resolution afterwards are fully realized.
When I played through Lost Legacy, I was hoping during the part with Shoreline their loyalty towards her would sorta be “restored” and the end of the game would basically be a battle between Shoreline and Asav’s Insurgents. But as Rafe Adler once said: “The thing With Mercenaries… Their loyalty is bought.”
One of my favourite aspects of this story is Chloe's turning point at the end where she says "I'm tired of walking away" and "it's not our fight, it's my fight" for me, it's a great call back from the start of the game where you're inside Asav's base and you're looking at all the artefacts he's stolen for his cause and Nadine asks "it doesn't bother you? These are all Indian Artifacts" and Chloe responds with "it's not my fight". This showcases Chloe's character development through her fathers, and Hoysala's "Lost Legacy" and this turning point she has at the end where she goes against the grain of her previous self's decisions and puts herself directly in the line of life and death to save a city full of a people and a heritage that in her mind she wasn't connected too because of the bad blood between her and her dad. It's really A+ and for me its why the lost Legacy comes in third place for my ranking of all the games, the 1st being Uncharted 4, then 2, then The Lost Legacy, then 3 and then 1 all the way at the very bottom of the barrel where that monstrosity belongs...
Lost Legacy biggest problem is that it came out after Uncharted 4, it's a fantastic game that came out as a follow up to a masterful finale to Nathan Drake's story.
Am I the only one who was really happy when I learned that Bricky had dinner with his father, I am a sucker for healthy relationships with parents as that can be rough sometimes, good on ya Brick.
What's kinda cool about the open world is that you can tackle it in any order you want i.e. you DON'T have to do the big tower first (the one that points out all the locations) and there will be dialogue acknowledging the order you do things in. Neat little thing I noticed on my second playthrough
Chloe: Hm. Handsome. Nadine: If you're into psychopaths. Chloe: Nobody's perfect. That's just how I talk to my friends 10/10 Uncharted's dialogue never fails

Yeah, I’d put LL solidly middle of the pack, above 3 and 1, but below 2 and 4. Dialogue was really fun, locations were nice, puzzles weren’t bad. Not to mention, the PS5 version looks fantastic graphically speaking. Only real knocks I have are that the villain is kinda forgettable and the final boss fight isn’t great, though the latter can be said of the Uncharted games in general.
7:45 Funny how the guy trying to make a name for himself is by far the best antagonist of the series compared to all these crazy armies, warlords and secret organizations, what can i say? Sometimes less is more
Thanks to Lost Legacy, i learned so much about Indian mythology. It was a really great add on to the Uncharted series. I am looking froward to a Cutter and Sully game now.

Thank you for putting the ad at the beginning Bricky. Thanks to your efforts i got to smoke up for the video WITHOUT having to be worried you saying something too funny would mess me up. Your service is absolutely comendable. Stunning performance sir.
I actually wouldnt even mind a Nadine and Sam game. Them still not really liking each other could be a really good starting off point as well. Watching the two characters who annoy each other most slowly become really close would be cool if you ask me.
I actually replay this game more often than Uncharted 4, basically because it gets going faster and has (in my opinion) better pacing with story/action/gameplay bits. While U4 is amazing and has a a better story and characters...once you played it once, the beginning feels really slow and tedious to get to the gameplay/action scenarios.
The voice actors chemistry in this game is what sells it. It's not meant to top any of the games that came before it, and I like that most of the story isn't trying to be the biggest and baddest. Just two mates on a holiday.
Just want to say I love the editing. Bricky has always been hilarious, but it's been taken to new levels. It's skater who's been doing the editing right? Does he have a channel or links to some other stuff he's done? If this series is any indication then the rest of his stuff would be amazing.
Tbh I'd like more games being set in India. Feels like a goldmine of untapped mythology and "exotic non-white foreigner culture" that makes for great settings in these kinds of games. I sort of get why devs don't bother however as most people are either uninterested in Indian mythology & culture and if they are it's usually through a politically tinted lens.
You mentioning MGS5 in that games that made you emotional question struck a cord. Any one who collected all of the audio recordings and text files in ground zeroes had to sit through possibly the hardest thing you could ever have to endure hearing.
I've really really enjoyed all of these Uncharted videos, I see them and drop what I'm doing to watch them immediately. I've never played the series, and they really make me want to. I'm really excited to see what you release next, great work Bricky!
Chloe, Nadine and Sam seems like the right amount of returning main cast, if im honest. Throw Cutter and Sully in there, but like... idk, i think 3 to 4 is the right amount of a core Uncharted cast for a full game. Maybe if the adventure takes them to London, Cutter can pop in for a level or two
At first I agreed with the "just good" sentiment but the longer I think about it the more I think well the reason 2 is usually liked more then 3 is the same that it's just consistently good, I think there's an urge with series with stories and canonicity to compare them to what comes before and after but that ultimately any game could be someones first or someones favorite and that our desire to adhere or adjudicate by the standards of a community or a canon ultimately limit us from the things we are actually here for (ie a game that engages either through atmosphere, emotional resonance, mechanical complexity, or clever design).
Nice, the Uncharted series is done. I really liked this series of videos from you! Also, I would love if you did a series just like this on The Last of Us. Even if you didn't like Part II, and I really much do and won't agree with lots of with what you say about it, I would still watch your video on it. I love watching different opinions on Part II, because that game is so devided on the side of the fanbase, and I just love talking about the game, even after 2 years after it's release. And I love your videos, your writing and scripts, and jokes, so it would be really much appriciated if you decide to do it!
This game was a legitimate suprise. Chloe and Nadine make a really good duo. But Asav is definetly the thing that holds the game back. He's nowhere near as bad as Talbot or the villains from the first game (except Eddie) but by the end I was legitimately suprised there wasn't more of him and how relatively undeveloped he was in comparison to Rafe and Nadine
19:20, I would call the trope of a joke about the joke as reused confetti. Like those party poppers that have confetti and streamers and like a small charge that pops, but you try to use the contents again without the pop.
Not even a warm take but Lost Legacy is the best Uncharted game to me for a very, very simple reason: it is the closest thing we've had to a goddam TOMB RAIDER game in over a decade and I want more fucking Legends Trilogy era Tomb Raider games, not the Uncharted clone shit the Survivor trilogy turned into.
Dear Bricky, Thanks for taking the time and effort to make this videos to make us happy. I think that the videogame ULTRAKILL may give you that joy too. Thanks for the consideration.
I think the reason this game is as long as the first is because Chloe’s adventure might be meant to mimic Nathan’s first (on-screen) adventure. I mean, it pretty much is, when you think about it.
This is the first Uncharted game that i willingly got spoiled for me. I really really wanted to finish it first before watching Bricky review but as soon as I saw a notofocation I decided not to wait another few months until ill be able to. Love ya Bricky
Game that had the most emotional impact on me: This might seem like a meme answer, but genuinely the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. Specifically Red/Blue Rescue Team (the first two gba and DS games). Explorers of Time hit pretty hard, but not quite as hard as BRT. I cry every single time your team gets run out of town and rejoice so hard once you return.
Just wanted to point out that this game was announced as DLC for UC4. But the scale of the project expanded to a point that ND felt it should be a standalone experience. Edit: Also some of the new weapons are from the multiplayer. So that resourceful
Bricky, I get if its too personal but I want to hear about your situation with Shining Lights Even in Death, that mission seems to have caught a lot of people at a point in their lives where it maximized its impact.
Honestly, I think this game could had been slightly more noticeable, if it was a Coop game, and have more interactions between Nadine and Chloe. At least that way, it could be the "The one coop uncharted game"
Yo, Bricky, you are literally the funniest TH-camr I watch. If you looking for a good, sad, mildly depressing game to look at may I recommend, returnal. Also will do a farcry series, pllleeeeessse. Yes I begged
This series was amazing Bricky. After the first video i caught myself constantly wondering and wanting the next. All your analysis is just so spot on. It helped me realize alot of stuff about the games too since i played them when i was younger and may not have understood or caught on. Man I'm sad this series comes to an end but i'll always be looking forward to new Bricky videos. Keep up the awesome work dude.
My friend brought this Uncharted series of yours to my attention and I binged all 4 of them and then at the end of the UC4 video u said you were doing Lost Legacy and I was legit there like [CSI Miami voice] *_YEEAAAAAAAHHH_* because I just really.. I REALLY love The Lost Legacy okay... And this video did NOT disappoint I see your criticisms I accept them but I love this game too much I love it to bits all the character moments and interactions are just absolute _MUAH_ cheffs kiss TOO GOOD. That scene u called the best in the game lives in my head RENT FREE at ALL times. You ask, gee, why do you love this game so much if it's not better than UC4. Well that is simply because I am Gay People and that should tell you enough, and also it's just really great seeing the character focus be on someone other than. Scruffy Middle Aged White Man. EIther way thank you for this series Bricky it was GREAT, and it made me binge watch a bunch of your other videos because, just like this series they're edited great, I agree with your opinions and they're just REALLY fucking funny. Keep it up!
Great series, would love to see a similar endeavor with a series like mass effect or something similar. Editing is hysterical and the reviews are insightful, concise without leaving out detail, and full of personality.
So i think part of the issue with Lost Legacy is that Naughty Dog i think said they actaully dont like Chloe while fans like her. I also wonder if Lost Legacy was a testing ground for a more open world uncharted. I would, however, love to see more "lost legacy" style games to have more post 4 story with the cast that may not be in the possible next sequal
I wonder if you've made a list ranking the Uncharted lore of each game? For me, my ranking goes as: 1. Avery's utopia 2. Sir Francis Drake 3. Shambala 4. The story of Ganesh 5. Atlantis of the sands I haven't played Golden Abyss.
For the plants I would have to say the tree of death because no joke just the sap alone is enough to kill a man if ingested that also means if some of it gets in your eye, the smoke from it burning can cause serious burning in the lungs and blindness the fruit can kill pretty much anything and it's just all around a completely useless tree like why do the tree that only exists to kill exist like nothing can eat it you cannot chop it down you cannot burn it and if it gets him water it pretty much makes the water toxic as hell which is my puns and parts of streams situated around them are usually no go zones because the water could kill you
I love what this game represents. Nate is retired, but the franchise lives on. I'd love another Uncharted maybe with the team of Sam, Sully, Chloe and Nadine! Nate can be referenced, involved through phone calls or something like that. I Love the series and don't want it to end.
I mean this with no offense, but your review videos are by far your best content. I can tell that time (good god, the time) and extreme effort have been put into each and every one of these. Personally, I would love to see more games that you enjoyed yourself with a review. Regardless of their popularity or notoriety. Bravo, Good Sir Bricky, bravo.
I was re-watching the uncharted 4 video and realized it’s been three weeks which is longer than all the other ones I was like oh dang he hasn’t posted it yet and I went to your channel and saw it
The entire game was a masterpiece to me but I find that that scene with Chloe and Nadine in the library really sticks with me. The broken voice while Claudia Black says "My Dad Was Here" just...destroyed. DESTROYED. Within the entirety of Uncharted video games, to me, have never had a scene that REALLY hurt me the way this scene did. Claudia's voice acting in this scene really has made me put her on S tier Ranking as a voice actress. She's truly the best.
31:23 I'd also like to point out Nadine's acting in this scene, because it speaks volumes to how much her and Chloe have grown closer throughout the course of the game. She kneels down and looks like she *wants* to say something but...she has nothing. She wants to reach out and comfort Chloe but doesn't quite know how since they aren't close enough yet. It's a really human moment for the woman who was trying to kill us for a whole game.
I literally just bought this game and finished it in a solid 6-8 hours on normal just to be ahead of this video. I'll be honest, this stinks of a rush job and a Frankensteining of the best parts of the series. I did have some fun and I did enjoy it. That said, this game giving backstory and closure to both Chloe and Nadine's backstories felt cramped. Sam felt wasted if I'm being honest, it was good to see him back but it just felt forced in. And that's my main issue, you had 3 main/supporting characters from the main games who all could have had their own game and they all got shoved into a single game that wasn't even that fleshed out. The main villain was overall fun until the end when he became cliche villain type. I'm happy to finish the mainline series (doubt I ever touch the PSP games), but considering how the series ended on a grand note, this felt like a forced epilogue vs a potentionel new direction that never took off. And this game has the same issue that I had with the fourth game, a complete lack of supernatural elements. As far as rankings, I actually rank the games on two things separate things: Story and Gameplay. For Gameplay, I'd rank the series as follows: Uncharted 4 Uncharted 2 Uncharted: Lost Legacy Uncharted 3 Uncharted 1 However, for storyline, I'd go this Uncharted 2 Uncharted 4 Uncharted 1 Uncharted Lost Legacy Uncharted 3. I get the criticisms against Uncharted 1, I really do. But I actually prefer it's story vs 3 and a little more then this game. As said Lost Legacy feels rushed and a bunch of storylines cramped together. 3 feels very all over the place with a bunch of things sown together (Bricky did mention the rumor of the gameplay was first and the story was second). To me, 1's simplicity works to it's benefit overall. That's just my take on it all.
Man I have only played Uncharted 3, but damn this series has seriously convinced me to play the games in order myself. Keep up the excellent work Bricky!
I was like you. Uncharted 3 was my first game and after going back through all the games (including the Vita one) it's so worth your time. Will say to play the Nathan Drake Collection on the PS4 cause I think they tweaked the gameplay to make all three feel the same.
Bricky, please do a video on The Last Of Us (the first one - I've seen the one on the second one, it was good!). I don't even know the Uncharted games and I've LOVED this series - there's just something so magnetic about seeing you talk about games you love, so I think it would be REALLY cool seeing you talk about that game which I also love. EDIT: Okay please also do the two and a half The Last Of Us Part II video, I'm also very here for that. SECOND EDIT: "Strongest game ever made"?! Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy-
my cousin who works at naughty dog gave me this game early and I was so excited to play it because I had played all the games except for 4 and 3 (at the time) and I really wanted to play it (my cousin is the art director/the guy who makes the art) and it was such a special game too me my rating for these games are: 4, 2, lost legacy, 3, 1.
As someone who has never played anything before 4, and have a nostalgia-free opinion, Chloe is a much better protagonist than Nathan. Consequently, this game was much more fun than 4. And I would much rather look at her than at that doofus!
I really wish ND didn't drop Uncharted in favor of the Last of Us. Don't get me wrong Last of Us is a fine game series, but Uncharted has always been the more memorable franchise. We finally get them, and us to move past Nathan, and Uncharted is MIA. Like wtf guys. I understand Lost Legacy wasn't a massive seller, but you would be stupid NOT to see it's potential.

Nadine decking Asav and then holding his head down, so Chloe can knee him in the face harder, has got to be my favourite tag-team move to date.

But Asav is definetly the thing that holds the game back. He's nowhere near as bad as Talbot or the villains from the first game (except Eddie) but by the end I was legitimately suprised there wasn't more of him and how relatively undeveloped he was in comparison to Rafe and Nadine
Half my playtime on this game was just looking at Chloe’s “assets”
Thank you, Bricky, for this beautiful series. Maybe The Last Of Us next?
19:20, I would call the trope of a joke about the joke as reused confetti. Like those party poppers that have confetti and streamers and like a small charge that pops, but you try to use the contents again without the pop.
Not even a warm take but Lost Legacy is the best Uncharted game to me for a very, very simple reason: it is the closest thing we've had to a goddam TOMB RAIDER game in over a decade and I want more fucking Legends Trilogy era Tomb Raider games, not the Uncharted clone shit the Survivor trilogy turned into.
Dear Bricky,
Thanks for taking the time and effort to make this videos to make us happy. I think that the videogame ULTRAKILL may give you that joy too. Thanks for the consideration.
I’m waiting to try the uncharted games till the bundle of this one and 4 come to pc later this year.
6:45 kinda like Shun Akiyama in the Yakuza serie, Shun isn't as strong as Kiryu or Saejima, so he use his legs to deliver really strong kicks
Bricky: uploads another uncharted video
Me: grabs popcorn
I think the reason this game is as long as the first is because Chloe’s adventure might be meant to mimic Nathan’s first (on-screen) adventure. I mean, it pretty much is, when you think about it.
This series was so fun to watch. Hope you do a similar thing with other game trilogies
This is the first Uncharted game that i willingly got spoiled for me. I really really wanted to finish it first before watching Bricky review but as soon as I saw a notofocation I decided not to wait another few months until ill be able to. Love ya Bricky
Game that had the most emotional impact on me:
This might seem like a meme answer, but genuinely the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games.
If bricky did video on the metro games that would be awesome
God bless the editor for making use of the Ace Attorney soundtrack.
*Chefs Kiss.*
Hearing Briky talk about Mass Effect in the credits makes me want to see him make a series like this on the Mass Effect trilogy.
For me, my ranking goes as:
1. Avery's utopia
2. Sir Francis Drake
3. Shambala
4. The story of Ganesh
5. Atlantis of the sands
I haven't played Golden Abyss.
Fun fact: when I was doing ancient history, I played uncharted 4 and lost legacy for two different projects
17:01 don't tell me Bricky unironically pulled the "men and females"
Its 1 in the morning and Bricky just said " I'd let Sully peg me". Please help me I'm crying.
Sam's line of "Oh my god, you're serious" is SO PERFECT 😂😂
39:08 You know I wasnt excpeting to spit from laughter while brushing my teeth from this but it was worth it
24:46 on that part holy shit Nadine's really throwing hands that's gotta hurt like hell
Omg that cut edit with sully killed me "I'd let sully peg me" to "GoT Us A bOaT" is hilarious
I was re-watching the uncharted 4 video and realized it’s been three weeks which is longer than all the other ones I was like oh dang he hasn’t posted it yet and I went to your channel and saw it
Shining Lights, Even in Death....I think is pretty effective no matter who you are or what you think of MGSV in general.
"I'd let Sully peg me"
Bricky, 2022
For Gameplay, I'd rank the series as follows:
Uncharted 4
Uncharted 2
Uncharted: Lost Legacy
Uncharted 3
Uncharted 1
However, for storyline, I'd go this
Uncharted 2
Uncharted 4
Uncharted 1
Uncharted Lost Legacy
Uncharted 3.
The quest for Shambala/Iram are miles better than quest for the horn of ganesh in the hoysala ruins tho
I mean even the el dorado is better
Agree
1:55 WAIT SKATER! THATS NOT THE NATHAN BONKING HAMMER! THATS A PICK AXE!
This game is my second favorite uncharted game. I’m soooo glad u decided to review all of them!
“It’s like a 2 and half hour video guys, I don’t wanna make that”
Hey Bricky. I’d like it if you made THAT video. Thank you. 💛
Crates and boxes are the most risky and low reward thing in investment yet they keep emerging
I love the Napwiss vfx during Chloe's rope swing, it genuinly feels lovely
