Fascinating! I had never heard a clear explanation of what is required to make a minimal linux distro before, that was interesting to hear.
And that is how chainguard was born
why there is no Distroless images for ruby ?
Interesting discussion, just a thought... could the last question maybe be getting at an evolution where you'd have continuous deployment tied back to the repeatable container creation for scaling.
