@@zombiejoe13 Unless it is made from phenolic resin it is not Micarta which is a trademark name and is made from phenolic resin. Should call it Micarta-like material. Phenolic itself has a yellowish brown color.
Sure but it’s the same process with very similar results so it’s easiest just to classify it as micarta. I’ve seen many other makers do the same thing.

Witted Jewel regular construction paper, but any paper that will absorb the epoxy will work
