Congrats on the 100k guys. I believe I’ve been subbed since 3k and this is still one of my favorite channels.
I prefer to watch the videos and just enjoy them rather than putting my two cents in, but I will say I enjoy when you guys feed the trolls. You just know they’re sitting in their little caves getting madder when you prove them wrong. Very entertaining 😂

No, was carbon flash metallic. For C6’s it was only in 2012 on the centennial edition models

Awesome! So what is your guess as to the horsepower increase from the heads on the ls3? Say 20? I’ve just seen very few ls3 cylinder heads done so don’t have a clear idea what they gain
Actually that's right on the money according to a lot of the hard core head porters.
Good numbers on the grandsport. Didn’t have to change the torque converter when you installed the stage 3 cam?
No we run stock converter with our cam
@@RaceProvenMotorsports that’s awesome honestly . My tuner out here in cali says anything higher than a stage 1 cam I will have to change my converter . Do you know why they tell me that and I see you guys do stage 3 cams no problem with a stock converter. Any pros/cons? Because if I’m able to do a stage 3 without changing the converter I rather do that instead of dropping the whole rear end lol

Would I be wrong to assume the LS3 H&C would work on a LS2?
I've seen a lot of people do it, the bore on LS2 is 4.000" and LS3 is 4.065"..so do what you will with that info. I'm sure there forums that go into further detail

@@W5rr2nG Wouldn't the port shape just make you change the intake manifold? At that point I would just get a FAST 102 or a Airforce intake. (I don't cheap out :D )
It's a good way to go and the stock ls3 intake is cheep and outperforms the ls2 intake everywhere with a 92mm tb. My 418 ran great .030 over x 4.100 stroke. 6;125 rods.

louie villasenor v6 or v8 doesn’t matter when it’s twin turbo. Just crank up the boost . Even though twin turbo v8 is better

The ATS-V made about the same power stock as the LS3 Corvette, but has 30 more advertised HP. Glad I bought a 2013 Grand Sport. I was shopping them both, but figured if I wanted max track performance I should get the Corvette.
That was cool seeing a father/son build and tune. 😎✌️

Hey man I’m new into the Chevy cars and I’m hoping to get a C6 Grand Sport in the near future. What performance upgrades would you recommend if I’m using the car as a daily driver and occasional races with friends. Not planning to take it to the drag strip nor track but would still like to make some power at least around 450whp?
Heads, cam, intake is usually the trinity on the ls cars. You can daily a car with a cam and a good tune no problem. If you're looking to be around 450whp or a little more, I'd go that route

Would you do a video on catted vs cattless exhaust pros and cons 🙏🏻... got a 2019 SS 1LE and I’m not wanting to waste my money by going down the wrong path.
The Drive Inside catted even if high flo cats is a very nice option. Mine was loud but not too loud, with careless your license plate will start yellowing and you can’t have it in a small garage or it can really hurt you. Free flowing exhaust tho is perfect for someone who wants to free it up and wants it really loud.

Is it necessary to do the cam bearings also when you switch cams on an LS?
Not unless you feel like taking the entire engine apart to change them

Great numbers on the A6 GS. Similar build to mine except i have a GPI manifold and in the process of flex fuel conversion.
What cam and heads on yours? Numbers? Debating on porting stock heads or going aftermarket and deciding on keeping current cam or going larger.
@@paisley2342 if u gonna go boost dont waste the extra $$$ on heads. With heads u may need to run 1-2 psi less boost for the same numbers.. unless u wanna stick to NA, but if thats the case, nothing beats a ls7 NA. I made 501whp on a hot day with e85.

I have owned and love Corvettes I'm totally disillusioned with the c7 with all the problems with the transmission I always like the look of the C6 because it has the back of a Corvette that's supposed to look like a Corvette I don't know if there are that many mechanical problems with the transmission with the LS3 motors supposed to be bulletproof I might be going back to thinking about getting a C6 other than a c7 who wants to spend 70 plus thousand dollars and wind up with a migraine headache I saw what's involved in changing the torque converter I had an ls6454 that used to burn a quart of oil every 500 miles they rebuilt the engine three times the third time they put the wrong piston rings in and thei car smoked so bad that I thought it was on fire driving home that's why I worry about having somebody take apart a c7 Corvette almost down to nothing to change the torque converter I had a 5-year 50,000 mile warranty I sold the car and got an LT1 motion Corvette that was a dream come true you could set the points on a dual point distributor with the book of matches you didn't have all that crap on there
ATS-V's are great used cars. As with most Cadillacs, don't buy them new. They depreciate hard.

On that ATS-V intake. Would it b better to have the hood close when tuning that car because of closed intake system. Just wondering. I've seen on other videos that it makes a difference on tuning when the hood is open not closed. The hood is not open when ur driving down the road. So is there a difference between the hood being open or closed in tuning. Just wondering mike.
Is that the AEM failsafe for methanol? If so how is the flow meter holding up to 100% meth? I’d like a way to monitor mine but haven’t found a sensor that will survive.
