Dreaming of tomorrow's crown, C-CLOWN is releasing their debut album on July 19th, 2012.
C-CLOWN is short for "Crown Clown", implying their determination and desire of the young members to become the crowned king of k-pop with the best music and performance.
The second track [SOLO] is the title song of the album.
Written by the composer Rado -- who produced the entire album -- and composers Ji-In and Won-Taek, it sings of the sorrow of a man who has heard the last words of goodbye. Unlike the standardized hook phrases and electric sounds prevalent in today's idol music, it focuses on analogue emotions. Featuring a stylish and appealing melody line that is not provocative or complex, listening to the song three times is enough to be able to follow along the main melody.

2012年7月19日、明日の王冠を夢見るC-CLOWNがデビューアルバムを発表する。
[C-CLOWN]は、'Crown Clown'の略で、'Crown'は王冠、王位を、'Clown'はピエロ、道化師を意味する。今はピエロである6人のメンバーが最高の音楽とパフォーマンスで、今後歌謡界で王冠をかぶった王様つまり、最高になりたいという意志と抱負を込めている。
タイトル曲は2番目のトラックの「SOLO」。
アルバムの総括プロデューサーを務めた作曲家ラドと作曲家ジイン、ウォンテクが共に作った曲で、別れの言葉を聞かされた男の切ない気持ちを歌った。 Hookと機械音が主な最近の定型化されたアイドル音楽から脱皮して、アナログ的な感性を盛り込もうとに努力した。複雑で刺激的ではない、３回聞くだけで主要なメロディーが歌えるくらい、洗練された大衆的なメロディーラインが特徴だ。

타이틀 곡은 두 번째 트랙에 실린, [SOLO].
앨범의 총 프로듀서를 맡은 작곡가 '라도'와 작곡가 '지인', '원택'이 함께 만든 곡으로, 이별의 말을 들은 남자의 애절한 마음을 노래했다. Hook와 기계음이 대세인 요즘의 정형화된 아이돌 음악을 탈피해 아날로그적인 감성을 담는 데에 주력했으며, 세 번만 들으면 어느새 주요 멜로디를 따라 부를 수 있게 될 정도로 자극적이거나 복잡하지 않으면서 세련되고 대중적인 멜로디 라인이 특징적이다. - เพลง

its crazy how the diff the style of 'old Kpop' and 'new Kpop' sound like. I feel like more recent Kpop are more influenced by the western sound and has more of a 'pop' vibe whereas the older ones were more 'melodramatic' in vibe. Listening to these songs are just so nostalgic.
i mean, it's literally called "k-pop". it has always had a "pop vibe".
The older songs were definitely more focused on melody and emotion, it gave it that distinctly Korean vibe. Now it's a lot more like Western pop, with the focus on hip hop and rap - which is fine, I like that too, but old Kpop had its unique charm.

I'm legit crying at this song...they're for real flying solo rn....the only consolation is that they still kind of keep in touch (if they're Instagram posts are anything to go by) and they aren't on bad terms with each other. It's so rare to see a group that has so much genuine fun with each other, and is also able to produce music of such good quality. I'll miss you, CCLOWN 👏🏾

I swear its currently 2019 and almost 2020 but C-Clown is still one of my fav group until now. And i still remember all those old day before they disbanded. I MISS THEM. i wonder what the rest of the members do now (expect Rome and Maru that is currently active in music industry).
