Hey Brad! Just wanted to say a huge thanks, I started following your tutorials about 3 years ago after being stuck in dead end minimum wage jobs for 15 years and genuinely believing that's all I'd ever do. I'm now a full time developer at a small but very busy creative company and for the first time in my life I actually enjoy my work and no longer have constant anxiety over finances. You've genuinely helped change my life! Anyone else reading this trying to do the same, stick with this man's tutorials, it might take some time but it's 100% worth the effort! Thanks again!
This is amazing! Congrats on the career change! I've been at it now for 7 months and get worried sometimes that I will never grasp programming. But this comment just gave me a lift! Thank you so much to both of you!
@@ryanspears3293 @Ryan Spears Thanks so much! I definitely felt like that too at times, don't give up though! It might help to know too my interviewer told me a few months after starting i was the least experienced candidate by a long way, however being such a small team when looking for a junior dev they found most of the applicants they interviewed being fresh from university just didn't have the in-person social skills they were looking for to interact with the higher profile clients or even the team. It was just my years in retail and life experience that made me much more confident in the interview! Regardless of how experienced you are or feel don't assume anything about a job and just apply for everything you can, you just never know when things might actually go your way! Good luck to you!
Joe, I know you haven't been on TH-cam for a long time and don't have any videos pertaining to development, but I would love to see some content on your channel. I will definitely support you and would love to watch you grow along the way. Just want to give you some motivation! Also, congrats on the career change. It's wild how life can make a complete 180 and bring you more joy than you could ever have imagined.
Hello brad, ive been working on html and css for about 3 years, recently my boss give me project for design email template. Its quit annoying when i saw all the codes. I just want to say THANK YOU for this! I've just started this playlist, finished the CSS crash course and wanted to see what the latest upload was. I'm happy to see you're still updating this playlist. I am a Desktop Technician and have felt like I am at a dead-end job sometimes. This gives me hope that I'll eventually land a front-end dev job down the road. Cheers man!
Hello! You have no idea how helpful was this tutorial to me. I have been studying separately HTML, CSS and JS for three months and now was time to put everything into the mix in order to create something. I didn't really know where to start until I came across your video. It's just amazing I have learnt a lot. Greetings from Chile.

Thank you Brad! Yesterday I finished your old Html and Css tutorial, and I was looking for something like that again. Im a stay at home dad but start feeling like shit for not contributing financially to my family, and I see front end as a way out. Hello from Mexico
I vaguely remember you doing a tour of your basement/office a while ago. At around the 1:09 mark, if I had to guess, that's one of your kids running just above you! Another cracking video mate!
Hey Brad, absolutely love your channel and style of sharing. You do some of THE best videos & I'm really grateful for how much I've learned here. Also what a pleasure learning at this pace, not assuming we know "stuff"..you're a star. Thank you!

I love your content so much, this is better than university. I can pause and question or try any alternative, a round of applause! Thank you for these wonderful videos
Thanks Brad, this is a great tutorial as usual, for .toggle.active rule you can use the background-image property only to change the image so you don't have to set the other background-* properties. I know you know that but wanted to mention it for others Thanks
it's been a couple of months since i subscribed to your channel and i must say your way of teaching is amazing. your voice and explanation is TOP. I wish it was possible to contact you for some private online classes on html, css and java script.
Thank you brad, good tutorial and very useful for sharpening css skills. And your VS Code theme look beautiful, maybe you can try "Mayukai Theme" for better syntax coloring. :)
Thank you so much Brad. It was an interesting one but just want to ask, what's the secret behind CSS precedence, because I observed you were styling in a certain order. How do you know when a certain class or id or element should come before the other?
Hey... I hope it's ok if I ask a flex question... At about 16:00... you define the max-width of the '.home-content' to 600px. I'm assuming this is because the img is position:absolute otherwise flex would keep everything in it's own columns correct ? Thank you so much for this video... very helpful !
