Come to pattaya. Approx. 25-30 km Further south of pattaya has some not so well known nice clean beaches with clear water like SAI KAEW BEACH, NANG RUM BEACH, NANG RONG BEACH etc. But don't go there on public holidays or weekend, because it can be very crowded with locals. Most tourists don't know about the beaches in sattahip area. Another option here near pattaya will be koh samet, a really nice island with white sand and clear water. Or if u want island vibe close to pattaya u can go by ferry to koh larn island, but it's sometimes a bit crowded with tourists. Another nice small tropical island in eastern sea board is KOH KOOD, which is really good to relax and still so well known island. And the 3rd biggest and well known island of Thailand is koh chang should, which is also not so far away from pattaya. Pattaya city itself is a nightlife city, but a little outside there are nice places too.
