I love the host. The guy, in every video, carries both players. He asks funny questions and not the obvious ones. All of the players ask the same two questions. Gender and sportsman or not. Serena did the same, but I a funny way. They play for the win, he plays for the show, so he is a great host.
Would be funnier if it was his radio-host partner Hamish though ...
From the ones I've seen only dominic thiem didn't ask either of the gender and sports questions. His questions matched andy's and the video was a whole lot funnier
Things like this maybe allow tennis players to relax a little, gain some social confidence and ease with spoken English, and of course we get to see them off court. As long as it is not compulsory, I think such silliness is fun and helpful.
John Millman also asked more inventive questions. For the players whose English is not their first language, it’s harder to joke around.
Yeah he's really nice. His name is Andy Lee and he's a sort of mid level celebrity with his friend Hamish Blake here in Australia and they're a comedic duo. They did some road trip tv shows a few years ago where they travelled through the US and Europe and Aus and NZ which were pretty funny if you ever get the opportunity to watch them.
