Your dogs sound like ours! Our old boy barks but can’t be bothered to chase and the young pup chases but doesn’t know what he is actually chasing, but is doing so because his brother is barking!! ❤😂x

Great save on the sky. I was wondering if you'd try blotting.
I gave up on our mud area of the back yard and put a mixture of fine gravel and paver base material. It works well but I don't know if your tree would get enough water. Love how you include mistakes and fixes, very helpful

We have a Hickory tree next to house, and squirrels THROW nuts at us, no joke. 😂
We had 2 hickory trees and those squirrels would pelt us with shells and nuts. LOL. And trying to walk across the grass in bare feet was impossible !
If only we could sell those shells, this year has been exceptionally “nutty”. Ours are on the drive way and front deck. Walking barefoot is excruciating! !!

I LOVE this card! The theme is great. How fun! I can relate to your dog story as I have two Beagles. They have a very unique bark and they too bark at everything! If they hear a dog barking in a different area of town, my dogs have to bark too. It's a "dog thing"!! If there were squirrels in your tree you would hear them "scolding" your dogs. Squirrels are VERY obnoxious when they are "scolding" cats and/or dogs. My dogs are really interested in birds but the birds leave my dogs alone. We have birds that will dive bomb my cats but I've never seen them dive bomb my dogs. It makes me so mad. I'm betting you have birds. TFS all! What a great "tutorial"!!!

Great card, Kelly! I really love how the sky turned out. I’m sorry it gave you such a difficult time, but the bit of saltwater taffy that still shows is amazing. I’ll definitely try your “expanded” color palette next time I want to do a sky background. Maybe even on watercolor paper so I can get that same beautiful, soft blend.
So glad I'm not the only one who has "Issues" occasionally. Although mine are more frequent than not! LOL

Love this card Kelly! You are so clever and creative with finding ways to fix what you don’t like. Turned out great! Love your fur baby stories, I miss my fur babies who have now crossed over the rainbow bridge. We lost our Yorkie two years ago and our cat a year ago.

This is so cute!!!!! I love your story times always. Glad our dogs aren't the only ones that act this way. Oh we actually have a dog hammock type sling to suspend them in for nail trimming Our youngest pug will tear you up otherwise it is crazy but safer for all parties lol 😂

@@KellyTaylorCards Guzekier pet dog grooming hammock is what it's called my husband found it on line He secured 2 heavy duty hooks from our front porch to hang it from for nail clipping sessions. It makes it very hard for your fur baby to fight you try as they may. It has been well worth it for us as our pug monster will tear us up otherwise You can see our pugs @ellebellelovepug for fun let me know how it goes ❤️

I think your card is AWESOME, you did a great job of fixing it. Love the story time. Until you have a Yorkie that has to be sedated to be groomed you have no idea the amount of mud a small dog with HAIRY feet can bring in. I feel your pain.
