Hi! Can you kindly share the link of the exact day tour option you opted for on Klook. I’ll be visiting this month and I quite liked this itinerary. Hopefully it won’t be as cloudy 🤞🏻
@TravelingwithMikey I'm planning to visit in May. But just wondering if I'll waste a whole day if there is no visibility oft Fuji. Cause I'm only staying foe 6 days in Japan.
Absolutely, it’s the easiest and most convenient way to see the mt Fuji. Unless you stay near the area. But worth the trip if you just want to do a quick day trip
not a bad idea, but for lake kawaguchiko, given the no of tourist, even if you manage to get bus ticket from shinjuku/tokyo to kawaguchiko, you might not be able to get bus tickets back, and end up taking the long train ride back to tokyo. to get around kawaguchiko u will have to use the bus there
The video is very helpful, so I'm not confused about where to go
Glad it was helpful!
What month did you visit there?
October
Is it better to take a road trip and go back to Tokyo or stay near mt fuji as I'm headed to kyoto next day?
I think 1 day is very doable. However, you can definitly stay near mt Fuji if you want to explore more.
@TravelingwithMikey the fact that tokyo hotels are expensive in April makes me want to stay near Mt fuji or hakone..
I am feel sad that you couldnt view Mt. Fuji. During May luckily, I was able to view in the same locations.
No worries, at all I’m definitely coming back. It was still an amazing experience

If you do it again would you still book the tour or do it yourself trip?

How long were you at eat stop?? The bus took you everywhere? What company?
I booked the day tour on Klook and the company was called Gogoday Travel. Id say about 2-3 hours at each stop.
hi! did you change the voucher somewhere or just present the QR code booking straight from Klook during the date of the tour?
Just present your confirmation email. They will have a list of all the passengers that booked
Can u rate ur tour guide frm klook frm 1 to 10
Our tour guide was actually very good. I’d say 8/10
is it bad idea if travel alone there for the first time?
not a bad idea, but for lake kawaguchiko, given the no of tourist, even if you manage to get bus ticket from shinjuku/tokyo to kawaguchiko, you might not be able to get bus tickets back, and end up taking the long train ride back to tokyo. to get around kawaguchiko u will have to use the bus there
Yes it’s doable. Just do your research and plan accordingly
Looks like you didn't really have a great time 🤷🏽♀️
It’s still fun just the weather wasn’t the best
