I just got through with a tri-axle of those clunkers just like them with a 15 ton with a 5-horse Briggs and split every stick. I don't want to even think of firewood until next fall. I didn't do but 2 buggy loads at a time but I got done. By myself too. Not bad for a geezer. So get your handsome self back home and help them GirlieS HEAL and Blessings this weekend yall!

There's a reason it's called BEECH , ran a lot thru a edger when I tailed Sawyer. Lots. Everything you got stacked there , we'd sawed , easy & the mill be a century old now if not for a fire. Beech. Didn't pay much in the day.
10/4 on the tail end, AND the mill. The one down the road still runs, 4-71 and all. Most free labor after school and just hanging out. Muscle building though.
I am betting that you was showing Logger Wade your logs ! good video and Have a great weekend were still praying for lacey here in new Hampshire steve Hatfield
I guess i'm a geek coz I don't like sports. I do like drag racing and engines and machines and trucks and Jeeps lol. Is fishing with your pet Chihuahua dog in the boat a sport, Lol? I love that too. But I don't catch as many bass or cat fish as Coton top.
Knowing nothing about your business, I figured the chips go to the mill in company tractor/trailers. What do you do with the logs you have stacked ? do you guys haul them or sell and have others haul them? Love the channel ,find it very interesting
Jim Krueger We truck and sell them ourselves, we have our own self loader log truck. Most of our logs go to Amish sawmills for the pallet industry. Thanks for watching Mike Cook
Wow. they must make a lot of pallets. Amish in our area build storage sheds and cabins, some humdingers for sure, but I don't know where their logs come from.
silveradoman298 30 years ago I did land clearing in Detroit area for 2 summers when our markets were terrible and we needed work. I cut and chipped a lot on M 59 east of Utica and a lot around Novi. But it all started in Auburn Hills with the Palace, the contractor had a guy in there with a hand fed chipper and a skid steer trying to cut 80 acres!! Lol. When we got there hardly anything was done and we had 2 weeks to get everything ready for the dirt guys!! Now when I go down in the areas we cut I don't even recognize it, things have changed so much. Thanks for commenting. Mike Cook
