Sheridan calling his ship the White Star, Which was loaded up with nukes to ram the enemy city he was standing in. Commander Sheridan liked nukes and he liked to ram things, dude had stones the size of melons made of diamond. Gen film should give him and the series some love
What about James Holdens move in season 2 ep 12 of the expanse, where the Roci is escorting the freighter and he target locks the martian fleet and ends he speech with "we will all die together"
How about Mad Madmartigan in willow giving a sign (after killing about a dozen enemy soldiers and a couple of trolls after launching him self from a catapult) jumping on to the head of a fire breathing two headed dragon!?!?

@@UncleMikeDrop Of course, when you consider the Real Dizzy Flores was not only wearing Real power armor, but was actually a man, then it makes sense for a throw like that... course, the MI also had rocket launchers and Y-rack rocket packs, and Robert Heinlein wrote a decent story that the script writers and directors butchered worse than any cattle captured by aliens, so I guess suspension of disbelief is the idea here, lol. The whole movie was suspended in a brutally cold sea of disbelief and ridiculousness, smh. Oh, and in the book, Flores had only one premise, to be the sole casualty on an easy demonstration raid of a Skinny planet, so the movie Dizzy was definitely way more OP than the real one :P

She could have jumped out and left them as a rearguard to disengage when they could and meet back up elsewhere. Also the simple existence of the hyperspace tracking means, had they done thing her way, they'd have jumped only to have the FO fleet follow, complete with a ship capable of punching holes in the Raddus.

One of My favourite YOLO moments of all Time was when Dante Charged the Tyranid Horde with what was left of the Chapter of the Blood in a last defying show of force, and then killing the Hive Tyrant as it shoved a 12 ft sword into his Gut by firing a Tank Killing Gun into it’s head!
Master Chief was a child soldier, kidnapped at a young age, stripped of his last name, and trained in harsh conditions, then subjected to physical enhancements, which killed half of his classmates and crippled some of the others. He doesn’t exactly think like a normal person
With the Bobby one at number 2 you say there was another ship available, but they do explain that one. They weren't sure if the UNN ship coming to intercept them would pick that up or destroy it and it was too slow to evade any kind of chase, so it wasn't really an option for Avasarala if she didn't want to either be killed or fall straight back under the control of a navy officer loyal to Errinwright.
Todd won because he was a veteran of many battles and wars, was highly intelligent and able to think for himself in combat . While the Gene-Engineered had no experience outside of training and were made to not think for themselves but to obey orders with out question. He also divided and conquered them easily because he knew the play book better than they did.
Stargate when Genral Hammond showed up in Prometheus to fight off the Anubis fighters and then try to ram at Anubis mothership was a pretty good yolo moment too Hammond was badass

Agreed, especially with acceleration. Worf could have just had the nacelles engaged, punch to c fractional, and the insane amount of energy from accelerating and disengaging inertial dampeners would have turned the Defiant into a pretty hefty relativistic kill missile (RKM). Forget the Cube, any planet hit with that sort of energy would be completely obliterated. But "prepare for ramming speed" might have just been a simpler, more smoothly flowing preparatory command, rather than "Helm, lay in course to intercept the Cube's 0/0 at maximum emergency acceleration and disengage the inertial dampeners, it is a good day to die."
#7: He did not yolo them. He used tactics to beat them as that was their weakness, lack of experience. The best example is when he set up a corpse with both arms holding rifles with strings on the triggers... with plastic explosives in the water around the corpse (I think they were in water, been a while). After the enemies close in he detonates the explosives.
Bobby Draper (again), "like a f*cking Valkyrie" in Tiamat's Wrath. If you know the scene, you know the scene. If you don't, I won't spoil it for you. Just read the books until you get there. It's worth reading 8 books just to get to that one moment.
You missed one of the greatest moments in sci-fi from the greatest sci-fi show ever: B5 last charge of the Agamemnon at the end of Season 4. There are a lot of badass moments from that show, but that one is still my favorite. As great as Worf's moment was in First Contact, Sheridan puts him to shame.

With the Bobby one at number 2 you say there was another ship available, but they do explain that one. They weren't sure if the UNN ship coming to intercept them would pick that up or destroy it and it was too slow to evade any kind of chase, so it wasn't really an option for Avasarala if she didn't want to either be killed or fall straight back under the control of a navy officer loyal to Errinwright.
Todd won because he was a veteran of many battles and wars, was highly intelligent and able to think for himself in combat . While the Gene-Engineered had no experience outside of training and were made to not think for themselves but to obey orders with out question. He also divided and conquered them easily because he knew the play book better than they did.
Not saying that Bobby Draper would take out the genetically modified Master Chief one on one, but she'd give him the fight of his life.
Stargate when Genral Hammond showed up in Prometheus to fight off the Anubis fighters and then try to ram at Anubis mothership was a pretty good yolo moment too

It made sense during the days of triremes and galleys, since the drums started beating faster and the rowers gave it all they had to increase the ship’s speed to allow the ram to punch through the enemy hull. But in space, you can hit the target at any speed, and, besides, speed is relative in space. Acceleration and delta-v are really what’s important
Agreed, especially with acceleration. Worf could have just had the nacelles engaged, punch to c fractional, and the insane amount of energy from accelerating and disengaging inertial dampeners would have turned the Defiant into a pretty hefty relativistic kill missile (RKM). Forget the Cube, any planet hit with that sort of energy would be completely obliterated. But "prepare for ramming speed" might have just been a simpler, more smoothly flowing preparatory command, rather than "Helm, lay in course to intercept the Cube's 0/0 at maximum emergency acceleration and disengage the inertial dampeners, it is a good day to die."
solarianstorm yeah, but the phrase is used in almost every sci-fi franchise where someone tries to ram someone else. Even Picard uses it in one book
#7: He did not yolo them. He used tactics to beat them as that was their weakness, lack of experience. The best example is when he set up a corpse with both arms holding rifles with strings on the triggers... with plastic explosives in the water around the corpse (I think they were in water, been a while). After the enemies close in he detonates the explosives.

You missed one of the greatest moments in sci-fi from the greatest sci-fi show ever: B5 last charge of the Agamemnon at the end of Season 4. There are a lot of badass moments from that show, but that one is still my favorite. As great as Worf's moment was in First Contact, Sheridan puts him to shame.
