Bro that para luck for you third game was insane. His mom luck was so good though, Zacian, Zamazenta, Dragapult, Gallade, and Baxcallibur are all literally amazing in singles.
I remember when it dropped down tiers I used to counter it with silk scarf hyper voice berserk drampa, it did about 85% unboosted (enough to kill) and bypassed substitute
It gets even more horrible if you give it sub/protect/torment(or taunt):toxic. Was my pet set in gen 7 and it’s just *awful*. Sure it folds to prankster taunt but very few Pokémon have 2 moves that hit (for example) ghost for super effective so a lot of the time it’s sub takes more than 1 hit. The most cruel Pokémon I have ever used and I love it.
By using butter blade they go last and I can’t spam substitute, they basically create a 50/50 in which I don’t know if I should go for Substitute or Protect predicting Bitter Blade or Shadow Sneak
Because Scald is too broken. Water type is good at defense. 30% burn puts physical attackers at a high risk, so it makes stallers (toxapex,...) much stronger
Why did I read Volcarona instead of Volcanion 💀 anyway my opinion on this is that they should have removed Scald, It's a no risk high reward move that eliminates half of pokemon switching in to that move
Strats involving protect/substitute need to go from randoms, its so obnoxious that i rather ff and play another game than playing this matchup I'm talking about 1.- toxic-protect-sub 2.-subseed 3.- moody (there are different movesets for this one but im including all of them)
@@ethanwallis5678 there're ways but they are the opposite of fun, and in the case of moody, the rng decides if the mon will be worthless or carry the game.
I have no idea what you all are going all about making the most clickbait all caps title imaginable for shit that happens in almost every game once you're past 1500 ladder in randbats
1) The only thing in caps is the word “Never”… 2) Prove me the title is clickbait… 3) Prove me you have a salazzle in every game past 1500 elo that wins by it’s own vs a Water Type
@@Pokevin you know very well what I mean, with every single one of your points, even if you give me the "uhm actually" response. 3 Yes you don't get one every game but if it gets in game, it happens extremely consistently, unless you feel like reading a protect by switching out, but will probably get toxic on another pokemon (sidenote fuck protect sub mons, they're super obnoxious and all very similar to each other even if fairly consistent to deal with), 2 title with almost every single word in caps on the first letter, emphasis on the word "never" for something that's both incredibly obvious to anyone who's played the game for more than eight seconds, that happens every time the mon is in play, and very exaggerated. Good reads on a protect can put salazzle in a bad spot, and you're gonna lose one, two mons at worst with tera. 1) answers itself, it's a generalisation
@@stealthy9156 basically point 3 you are saying there are similar mons while my video talks specifically about salazzle point 2 you say it’s an obvious thing… isn’t that the opposite of clickbait? Point 1 you can look basically every video on yt, not only pokemon related, has the entire title in caps or at least the first letter of every word
@@Pokevin are you deadass? 3 I said as a sidenote these mons are annoying. My point was very much about this video. Salazzle getting in and doing salazzle things happen every time it's in a game. Dear god a pokemon uses the moveset it was given to do the things it was intended to do. God save us from this apocalyptic event. This also answers point 2. Which is literally what I said in my previous comment, but again you wrote a clickbaity ass title for something that's not just ordinary, common, and very obvious, presenting it as the make or break of gaming as a whole, but the lamest possible sequence on random battles, aka "pray the opponent has no strong choice scarfers or momentum moves". And even if it was actually something special, a good half the pokemon just blow you up off of one free turn, that's how random battles work, and we both know that very well, since we likely have both played it more than twice. Blowing up something that isn't a big deal at all is quite literally clickbait. It's all the news do to sell copies. 1 Yeah and?
So tell me what title I should have put, that’s not clickbait at all… my title is just the same as saying: if salazzle has a free turn you are in a bad spot… I don’t see how’s that clickbait You brought up the fact that everything was in caps, I simply said that wasn’t true
Salazzle was already one of the best in gen 8 randbats but they decided to make it even better in gen 9 randbats by giving it water tera
damn zacian c in ran bats sucks now the whole point of zacains was high dps
Salazzle is the most annoying pokemon in showdown. You never had something to outspeed her
True, and if it sets up a Substitute for free prepare to lose at least 2 mons
This is definitive
FACTS, every time Salazzle is in I never have something faster
I hate salazzle even more than toxapex
Me had salazzle free sub
Enemy:infiltrator
I really like that you included a game where you lost as well! Keeps it realistic
Bro that para luck for you third game was insane. His mom luck was so good though, Zacian, Zamazenta, Dragapult, Gallade, and Baxcallibur are all literally amazing in singles.
Gothitelle had amazing drop luck for one battle
Fr, man. The chance of that happening was 0.8%. Talk about crazy luck 😲.
that cereledge could have broken your momentum if he didn't just spam shadow sneak
Very balanced teams in the last match. Opponent with Doggos and two Pseudos.
You had a Zapdos.
Plus two pseudo legends
I fear salazzle's existence
Nobody is safe against Sala-
Immunity Snorlax entered the room

I was waiting this haha, next up are Magic Bounce and Poison Heal Mons :)

wooooo
my brain can barely comprehend how you won the first battle. insane man.
It's funny cos I got a zamazenta & zacian on the same team aswell & it was zamazenta that swept for me w/ iron defense + body press

Honestly zacian probably shouldn't be that low level anymore in randbats, with ability nerf + reduced attack it's not nearly as strong
God the Gen 8 nightmares of this mon return. Anyway love your vids mate, I just hit 1764 on ladder. So hope to play you sometime!
It always gets serious when the Salazzle comes out
The last battle was interesting. They got both cover legendary of Sword & Shield.
Salazzle though
Nasty plot salazzle is almost on instant sweep unless of course salazzle don’t one shot something because it’s so frail
Your subscriber is going up so fast
I love salazzle, i play it like this in my main team xD i just play encore instead of flamethrower. To trap set uppers
Ceruledge had a complete meltdown
Was that middle guy just trying to set up literally every hazard? So many turns of spikes and rocks and web in a row
Does baxcalibur get thermal exchange in ranbats? That lava plume on Bax looked really scary in the 3rd battle
It gets thermal exchange
Im glad glalie got a kill
Also moody can make him very strong
Salazzle is just, scary and annoying lmao
Mf had toxic stalled many many Steel and Poison type
I got three in a row ez with salazzle 😊
Is salazzle better than grafaiai? I'm doing a poison type team but I dunno which to choose
I think Salazzle is better, you could try the unburden swagger mirror herb acrobatics grafaiai tho
Hi
how do you find these games, mine are filled with floatzel wavecrash / ChiYu scarf
Intrepid sword nerf absolutely gutted Zacian. He’s borderline useless if you can get him to switch out after he’s shown.
Good lol
2:25 why would they use bitter blade? I don't understand how that helps them
By using butter blade they go last and I can’t spam substitute, they basically create a 50/50 in which I don’t know if I should go for Substitute or Protect predicting Bitter Blade or Shadow Sneak
@@Pokevin i didnt think Bitter Blade would break the sub
But that logic is fair thanks for answering
Ciao
👋
Ur first team was stacked wtf
Salazzle Ev spread?
It’s random battles, every Pokémon has neutral nature and 84 evs in every stat
Why is Volcanion the only Pokemon that can learn scald now. It already has steam eruption
