I love what a pragmatic, spacey kid Arnold was in season 1. I know they downplayed his flaws and quirks in later seasons, but to me, they made him a more appealing character.

And the other character were outrageous enough that it didn’t really affect the shows stories and humor, but Arnold was a much more interesting character in the earlier seasons.
Man can still put a smile on my face watching this. It is just to funny and done in just the right way. I missed shows like this that just brighten your day for a moment.

I saw this in a movie theater in like 1997 before "Harriet The Spy". Some representative came out before the movie and said that we'd be a test audience for a new show that was coming to Nickelodeon, then they played the pilot episode of Hey Arnold. Ah, fond memories of my 90s youth.

Hey Arnold needs to have a season 6 or reboot series of some sort. I know we just had the Jungle Movie a few years back but I still want to see more of his gang, his tenants, and of course, his parents. And with what’s been going on in the world lately there is plenty of story potential for a reboot.
