Hello BBI FANS AND FRIENDS: MR. Luke this is the second time I've seen this video now on my big screen TV. This to me is nothing but pure artwork. The way you have applied your genius to modify each module is outstanding. WAY TO GO BBI & HAPPY EASTER TO ALL !!!!! TMP, UNIT 22 FROM N.J.

BBI, you see the magnetic force between the conductors. The higher the current the more it moves away from thr other conductor. This is the same effect when current flow through a conductor from a lightning strike. Very cool project. Thank you.

I'm really enjoying these videos while also following along in my own way. I have found enough power cables around the house to chop up. I don't have a need now but I love the idea of just having a massive power supply that I will never stress about. Overbuild underrun.

Referencing your white wire: Server PSU's and the server PSU backplane have options to run supplies in redundancy mode or ballanced mode. When the server admin selects redundancy mode, only PSU is triggered on while other sits powered but no output (green light). When ballanced mode selected, all supplies triggered and self regulate. Your "Master" supply is slighty higher voltage and as the others are slightly lowere and have no output, sleep time.

This was a great video to watch if only I knew what my future holds after being burned on the property I bought here. Because if I say muck it and go off the grid I'll have no idea for such a great power supply. But if things work out the right way a 300 to 500 Watt supply I would pay the price for. These supplies are great and I thank you for showing all of the potential and benefits of using these.

I have been through maybe 50 of these rack server supplies. 99% of the time they are still in great shape. but I have come across a few that provided amperage but was producing a crap ton of noise so just take a few mins and make sure each supply is not doing this.

I owned a Ranger RCI 6300F Turbo around 20 years ago. I was told it was built by someone in Florida, and it was heavily modified. Would dead key on High 750 watts and swing over 2 thousand watts. The receiver and modulation were all re-done. I used it as a base radio in Iowa. I didn't have the courage to look inside the radio, but it was a beautiful sounding radio. It later got stolen by a local where I live, damn do I miss it and talking on the radio. Any ideas who in Florida could have built such a radio?

I almost wished you had used a solid 3/4" square copper bars for buss termination on top of switchers with wire gauge appropriate holes drilled ,wire inserted then filled with solder.Concerned about amperage through wires laid on top soldered and any possible voltage drop from this method and heat buildup.

I've got 2 of these modded running 14.4v and in parallel and I'm observing the following with and without the load sharing wire hooked up: When I power up both units the green indicator lights both come on and then one unit's light goes off after a few seconds. It does seem like both are running and sharing the load because I'm getting a lot more out of my amp vs running a single PSU. They are also both getting warm under load. Is this normal? Also, as a test, I unplugged the lit unit to see if the other's light would come on. No light came on on the second, voltage remained, and the unplugged unit's fan went to full speed. It appears that the supply in this video has all of it's lights on all the time but it's hard to tell. Any info would be much appreciated.

    👏👏👏
How well is the load sharing holding up with heavy loads at prolonged usage?
The most I have done is a 36V, 65A, series design - using the HP 750W supplies.
Again, wonderful work. Thanks for making the video!

When you get it figured out, I'd love to see a polished up design where the modules can be inserted like the original servers used them. Where the end user can swap them out by hand without tools! (Granted we have to trust them not to be idiots and isolate teach module so we can rig them up in series. perhaps a float tester is in order for that task)

I think it would have been more impressive if it was done with an amplifier drawing the amps from the supply hit it with something that's going to take a 800 or 900 amps on a key up to see if it is going to Crowbar.
