He's been really interactive across the social media platforms which I think could really make a difference in carrying The Voice support over into career support. It doesn't surprise me that he reads your comments - aside from being a staunch supporter of him from the Blinds to the Final, you take the time to leave well thought out feedback, not only on your favourites but for everyone, and you field trolls and differences of opinion with the same grace, which I'm sure is noticed and appreciated. Plus you took the time very early on to check out his own music, which a lot of people still haven't done. It's actually quite worrying to see how many people keep asking him to put this cover or that cover on the album. I wonder if that's a big part of why previous winners and finalists haven't done as well afterwards as you might expect - that the people who watch and vote on these programmes expect an album of covers of songs they already know, rather than original music that you have to take the time to get to know. If that is the case, I hope the connection Stevie's made with his fans and supporters through the time he puts in and how genuine, and genuinely nice, he's been will carry him past that glitch and to the wider recognition he so deserves. Sorry, I digress (as ever lol). I'm glad he +1d your comment, though I'd imagine its for more than just a comment - it's probably for your continued support too. DigitalliPix I think he genuinely does appreciate his fans, and I also find it strange that his "fans" from the show aren't more curious about his work. I suppose there is a lot of competition these days. I know from being a time served musician myself that finding an audience is no longer the problem, it's getting them to stick around.
Although a slightly generic video, I'm so happy Stevie won. Of course Lucy was amazing, but for public perception and artist credibility, Stevie has it. So please, stop hating on the fact that he won, his life has changed forever and whether you wanted someone else to win or not, you have to respect the fact he is a kind person who is making his dream come true.

Unfortunately for Stevie winning a "bbc" comp. They cannot punt/advertise a something 👎however if it was on Itv or Channel 4/5 etc he could've been punted ..... never the less! Stevie and his music is quality and the likes of Capaldi who has made it, through different ways ..... its a hard game! Close yer eyes and just listen, Capaldi could be Stevie, Stevie could be Capaldi ....etc but unfortunately music is a business like any other and if you don't make the so called signing grade, then it'll never happen ....

I was watching as best as I could from the States and SO HAPPY when I heard he had won The Voice UK. I was a fan the moment I saw the video of him in the blind auditions. I'm very much looking forward to his first release/album. Here, have all my monies! hahah I could listen to that great soulful voice all day! :)

This is probably the winner of the voice so far that I think actually has a better chance of making it into the "fame" or the professional music world. Been a fan from day one and it's nice to see you not only win but do well on the charts with the single. Now we can only wait to hear more of you, with songs that are actually yours.
