1st off thanks a million for this outstanding review. I got to say you killed this review covering everything about the Out Storm Maxx scooter. Everything said was right on the dime correct. I also have the out storm maxx and this thing is a power loaded beast. It gets me anywhere I need to go in Orlando. I will mention the battery is pretty decent but you will get significantly less mileage out of it on prolonged high speeds. I've never tested range limits on slow or fast speed so I can't confirm nor deny the achievement of 50+ miles range per charge but if you learn how to use your scooter conservatively you'll be able to get hours of enjoyment out of it like I do. Unfortunately for me tho I continue to get rear wheel flats. I have 2 small pin holes and one hole the size of a quarter. I'm currently waiting for 2 inner tubes and 2 road tires that I just ordered yesterday.
I love the shots where you are pulling the little kid on the mat behind you. It would've been funny if you switched him off camera with a child mannequin and kept going leaving the grass for the pavement while dragging it at full speed down the road. lol
Just might do this instead of a second motorcycle... current bike is 875lbs! Love the bike but its a handful around town sometimes. Outstorm maxx could be my next ride for zippin around...

I'm looking at scooters as back up or to throw in a vehicle. as my bike is at 60lbs. When he said this was 112 I had to laugh. At that weight it's just too unwieldy. You couldn't even bring this into most buildings. As I would expect to be able to do with a scooter.
@@michaelweston1042 This isn't that. This is more like the Quietkat of scooters. A huge amount of that weight is in the battery, which is about double what's on a 60 lb ebike. Then you have about 5x the motor of a 60 lb ebike. There are light, portable scooters - this isn't that.
Like the video. You say to wear a helmet but you forgot to say gloves an all protected riding gear. Gloves are so important that's the first thing you do when falling off a scooter a bike an anything that you ride. It's a natural reaction to put your hands out to break your fall an if you are not wearing them you will be in bad shape an some missing skin an that does not fell very good. I tell everyone this not just you so please don't think I'm picking on you. I've been riding for a very long time and never ride without them You need to wear them and all riding gear to be safe. Please ride safe buddy an God Bless.
Yes I did 50MPH and crash,you need front stabilizer,agood thing I wore my helmet and protective gears but stay away,it has so much problems with the battery.
Trick for sticky mud / snow, mount a stiff broom brush to clean tires. Just a 1 inch by radius of tire . Have it flip up down to also clean shoes before hopping on. Best shoe to platform contact.
I have the same type but different off brand and I went the 56mph it’s insane. Of course always wear a helmet and pads cuz it does get squirrelly at high speeds
That scooter is great love all the metal mines all hooked up with a better seat, alarm, stereo, and charges very quickly I run a bit then charge for an hour then ready to go again I keep it clean and go over every bit and bolt fun and easy to fix.

It’s crazy how fast they are now. Price is way out of my range but I’ve found a version that’s 1099 with 1600w dual motors 3200w total but only 37.5-45 mph

@@theelectronomer2319 the top speed I got it to run is 35mph after adjusting the sensors to be accurate on speedometer, making sure it uses 100% power on the P8 setting, Dual motor mode with turbo on, and P3 not 2 or 1 for max speed. Lol I got to say I bought this on impulse because you and every other videos say they go 50 mph when nobody really tested the max speed. Nonetheless still love the scooter because it still gets me from point A to B and save me from visiting Gas station every week.
Cormorants oooh, that's seriously great. In Japan, you'd have to put a license plate on and a blinker on and a helmet on to drive it. And they are not allowed to drive on the sidewalk. Only on the roadway.I'm jealous.
Nice review. Problem is, theres like literally 3 (no exaggeration) identical scooters on the market. I own one. Ive had 2 issues. 1, the tubeless tire seal fails, (2x for me personally) and 2, the folding mechanism loosens. Dramatically. That being said, its an absolute beast of a scooter. I would buy it again. You can tighten the screw for the stem, but you have to replace the plastic spacer on an almost monthly basis depending on the use of the scooter.
I purchased a outstorm pro approximately 2 months ago and I'm pretty impressed with it so far, except the battery, if I ride mine like they do in this video I can't even get 5 miles of range, that's lame!!!
So do the scooters just keep getting better and better? Is this the latest and greatest? I'm a truck driver and would like something like this for the truck. I have a few electric skateboards but I'm not comfortable with the safety of always riding them in unfamiliar places. An off-road capable scooter I feel would be much more practical for exploring new locations while out on the road.
Trust me on this one, the Janobike,NANOBOT, T10,or what I have the D4 from OKIDAS these are all the same. 2000w, 23.4 mA,40-44 MPH,55m range is all you will need for exploring.these are fast enough.
Does this scooter still run today? Have you experienced controller failure? Every zero scooter I’ve owned are all down due to controller failure. Don’t know how to fix it
How is it to get replacement inner tubes and tires because I know one of the other brands it was really hard to find a properly configured inner tube that would work?

It doesn't need a steering dampener it can go over 40mil without wobbling
