You were renamed Puerto Rican. Because of the renaming of your island, not because you an island, YOU ARE A HEBREW From GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE. IN THE BIBLE, RENAMED TO HIDE YOUR IDENTITY.
@maddyr, how did 23andme list your 16%...did they actually use the word Taino or did they list it as indigenous from PR??? I too took the DNA test with 23andme & ancestry. Neither of those labs used the word Taino. Are we assuming that if we have indigenous PR, that we are Taino by that percentage?
All Puerto Ricans , Cubans and Dominicans have Taino DNA ranging from 2% to 15% and the rest is Spaniard, Italy , Britain, African, etc... We are mostly 70% 0r more European and then comes the brak down. Some of us on the other hand have more African DNA then European but also a trace of Taino DNA. We've been diluted and through assimilation and mixing we adopted the Spaniard culture and African culture as well. We lost our Indigenous language although we retained some words like Canoe, BBQ, Hurricane, Hamaka ( Hammock) etc..Tainos have trace going back to Venezuela and other regions as well and made they way to the Caribbean Islands. So, Remember your Ancestors who fought to the Death against the Spaniard's and Columbus. Burn some sage and say a Prayer or two and light a candle if you wish but never forget we came from because so many don't know or even care at this point in time and that is very Tragic!!
willie Lugo I think it’s a little higher with Puerto-Ricans i see 15% to 20% consistently .... DNA 🧬 POSTS... MY Ancestry... FAm members ..... I Myself 🇵🇷 have 31% percent Native ....pretty rare I only seen a couple of others ... both my parents are PuertoRican........ In Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 in the Ciboa mountain 🏔 area I seen peeps with higher percentages... that’s where they retracted to ...
Back when I was a kid me and my dad went in there and there was a statue of a Lion I remember my dad place his hand on it and left his hand print there
You moved the camera too fast and it was shaking a lot. It was difficult to see the details on some walls. Very interesting area. My mother was born in Arecibo, but her family came from Spain and Portugal. They had no Taino links then. My dad's roots were on the island for at least 50 years before my maternal side arrived. I am 15% indigenous PR on my dads side. Their facial features are very ethnic. My mom is fair skinned and my dad has more olive darker features and his family definitely look Taino. I will accept that 15% and am proud of it. I was born in Brooklyn.
Thats awesome Emy ! My dad was born in Brooklyn too, but he's of Puerto Rican blood. I do apologize for the shakiness of the camera, as it was a tough trying to keep steady with the things I was seeing, It was my first time down there when this was taken and my gosh I was just enthralled with the beauty, so I was indeed moving a lot
Hey Boricua! I was looking into the cuerva. Decided not to go as it was too risky for me to climb. Presently on vacation in Puerto Rico as I send this message. Hope all is well with you.
Oh man, I wish i could be in more and doing more vlls, but you know what, I'm gonna start focussing a lot on filming this summer, so in a sense you'll see me upload every now and then
Hi David. Sorry it's taking me a year to get to your comment. Haven't been on this channel in a while. But In the beginning of the tour there is a tour guide that leads you to the entrance of the caves. He will guide you to the location of a ladder, and from there you go down and explore the caves by yourself!
Hermosa nuestra herencia past and present. Proud Boricua Taina now and always!
Que obra de arte tan hermosa que nos dejaron nuestros antepasados. Gracia por compartir

Good video thanks
Which town in Arecibo is this located; who could we contact if we want a tour and explore.
BORINKHAN you don’t need a tour guide
You just go . There’s a parking and signs with one private property pay $5 and get in
Yes
this is not advertised enough in PR
It really isnt
The caves are beautiful but you did not allow the carving to be seen closely. You swept by them fast,
I 100% will be going back there sometime soon... As soon as I do, you better believe that I will be getting everything
