The reason why there's so many "spoilers " is probably because the only people watching the opening ceremony would be league players and they already know about that stuff

IMO the ceremony works and not spoil anything because arcane is jinx and vi's journey, but the story is not just about them, but rather the whole of piltover and zaun itself. So even if you know where 2 character will end up, in the end its only 1 small part of what the story have to offer, and also if what shown here in the worlds ceremony is "spoiler" then all of league player who know jinx and vi's lore wont be able to enjoy the story at all since we know what they will become.
i think you're forgetting that Jinx with all her guns, alongside all the other characters have been in the game for years. We knew Powder would become Jinx from the second we saw blue hair on that bridge.

They actually didn’t tease all the much of Arcane. Players already knew what Jinx and Vi looked like when grown up, the Hextech, as well as every single one of Jinx’ weapons and her psychosis. We even knew the monkey bomb from “Get Jinxed”. That being said I think it’s an incredible teaser that really makes you want to watch the show!
yeah, in the official game Jinx and Vi always had a "mouse and cat" relationship - Vi chasing Jinx around and Jinx purposely annoying her but until 2019 - when it was revealed for Arcane that they are sisters - we never knew why. So in fact there are no spoilers about this world show open so far BUT I think like Carlie - I think the situation when Jinx and Vi meet at their old hideout and she fires fishbone at Vi could be a situation(spoiler) we get again in Arcane S2 with the chasing that follows - but nobody realizes this here because it fits the state of the current game perfectly.
Actually in the Arcane Premiere a lot of people was invited to that arcane set, it was sooo cool watching them irl streaming and showing it right before the first ep released, and it wasnt only decorative, you could also go into the last drop and have a drink there
Riot understood for worlds 2021 that doing the same thing they've done for years would be impossible during a pandemic so they went all out with the viewer immersion, and it was such an incredible final to watch. The transition at 20:10 is my highlight.
When Arcane came out most of the players already knew about them being sisters...but like 2 years ago many would not. There's a Jinx Voice line that she says "You thin I'm Crazy? You should know my sister" that made everyone curious for years about who would that be, and Jinx's Splash art has the same background as Vi's, but all destroyed
Actually they were released with songs and , one of jinx voice lines were a spoof of Vi release song.

It was pretty much assumed that Vi and Jinx were sisters. Vi has a voice line that says, “Vi stands vice/violence” (it changes). And Jinx has a couple hinting lines like, “Jinx? Stands for jinx…duh,” and, “you think I’m crazy, you should see my sister.”
Arcane was the confirmation tho.

At arcane premiere, people played IRL rpg at this set with Arcane voice actors.
For instance: They choose Silco's team and talked with his Voice actor to make quests.
U have to talk with npcs at Last Drop to gain info about your quests. It was really fun event. U totally running around Zaun streets to find some shimmer for Boss Silco :D
I couldn't go to event but watched one lol youtuber's video, gosh i wish i could be there.

i love that every worlds opening before was bringing the game to life with augmented reality / holograms / animation parallel to stage artitsts etc... and in this opening due to covid they went the other way around, and brought their artists into the game / story
Touching on the fishbones reveal, league players don't find it surprising at all, because she uses him (it?) constantly in the game. She can freely switch between fishbones and her machine gun (powpow, a gun related onomatopoeia as well as a nickname that Vi calls her based off her name, Powder).
Also, it was known by most players that Jinx and Vi are sisters, and that Vi/Cait are partners (as crime fighters and girlfriends). We also knew a decent number of other characters from the show and how they relate (like the twisted doctor, Singed), even including some that you may not know as named characters yet! That's a huge part of why it's so fun watching you guys react to Arcane and other league lore. It's like watching you meet our friends, in a weird, parasocial way xD
I think that Vi/Cait and Jinx/Vi relationships were never confirmed at all before the show. We always suspected, theorized, or saw glimpses of them through some interactions, but in the lores these weren't confirmed.
@@arthurbrant still, even if it was not canon and explicitly stated, it was very obvious and however followed the lore a little knew about it and it pretty much regarded as a fact
@@juanfelipecardenasgomez9124 I don't think it was obvious. It is for just those who really catch the small details. I read Vi and Jinx's lores, and for me none of those stories made obvious that they were sisters. It was obvious that Vi worked with Cait, because it is written, but not that they had a romance or loved each other.
I know they was sisters long time ago, i dont know why, if it's because lore, interactions or something like that but i know it and a lot of players too. Cait & Vi relationship it's a popular ship on the comunity (like katarina-garen, ezreal-lux or ezreal-taric xD) and i think they put this in arcane because of that.

in Burn it All Down, it actually focuses on a newer superstar named ShowMaker, for once it actually isn't Faker! Common incorrect assumption though lol
also the whole zaun set was actually open to a huge event before the final three episodes came out of arcane! they had a ton of streamers and actors come explore and play some silly tournaments all in that location! you could go to the last drop and buy a drink, you could play some vr shooting minigame akin to the one powder does early in the show, and the whole thing was live streamed on an official broadcast as well as a lot of streamers broadcasting their pov while playing games on the pcs on the floor. it was really cool! they also did a temporary event open to the public where you could go and experience an interactive play basically in zaun where you could walk around, talk to characters and experience a story literally as a person in the undercity! i really wished i could have gone to that, it sounded so fun
TBF if you don't watch esports showmaker and faker look very similar, especially in the animations
The premise of Vi's and Jinx's relationship was already established in lore before Arcane, we just lacked most details. We usually only have a quick background and some short stories for any given champion to go off of, and if we're lucky Legends of Runeterra will provide even more lore for a champ (and even some non-champion characters).
Many of the champions in League have a relationship with one another, some are good friends with each other, some are siblings, and some are mortal enemies. The short stories and comics are actually pretty good, they do a good job weaving a lot of champs together, it makes the universe seem extremely detailed despite how little we usually know about most champs.
league player already know that jinx and Vi are sisters and even much more, arcane takes place like years before current league, therefor we know where characters like Vi and Jinx are going to end up kinda, but as a league player it´s so nice to learn more about their backgrounds
ah heres some fun fact: the league community was actually theorizing that milo and claggor is young jayce and viktor, because we know they will be in the show

The League World Championships are generally held in the month of October, a multi-week event with teams that have qualified from 10-12 different international regions (most have multiple teams attending, but depending on the strength/size of the league scene in each, there are regions that only send one), eventually narrowing things down to the two teams who compete in the finals.
I haven't had the fortune of attending a World Finals in person because they haven't been held within a reasonable distance of me, but I have gone to a couple North American regional finals and did get to attend the Worlds Semi-Finals one year and get to witness one of the most historically revered Worlds matches in person. (for those who know, SKT vs ROX)
Worlds is being held in North American again this year so may have the chance to go again (though again, not the Finals sadly)
If you didnt know, the entire built set and props in this opening for Worlds was actually meant for real life. The original plan was that they would hold Worlds in a stadium, but decorated the entire stadium like a theme park, where one half of it was Zaun and the other half was Piltover. However they couldnt get the permission due to covid, so they took whatever props and actors they already got and made this video
During Burn it all down, you definitely saw Jhin and Kai'sa (and also Orianna's ball). I was hoping that Ang would go nuts with the bow that Rekkles did (the player impersonating Jhin) at 3:58. Cool reference to the champion - as in Awaken.
Oh what a time it was last year when all this happened. Opening ceremony for the worlds finals had this and a few hours right after the championship, the opening premiere for arcane happened. They had the voice actors etc arrive inside riot’s HQ that was transformed into piltover/zaun, they did interviews and showed behind the scenes stuff and how arcane came to be, how it was planned years before. And they actually made the last drop inside as an actual bar where ppl were dressed as zaunites/piltovans and actually served drinks inspired by zaun. They had all these on livestream, then the countdown towards the first ep. And they actually livestreamed the pilot episode so everyone could watch it even without netflix. Good times, good times.
The teasers and trailers they put out for Arcane were actually brilliant if you were watching them as a League player. Because you would know Jinx and Vi essentially in their final form. Minigun, rocket launcher, pink eyes, crazy and badass, huge hextech gauntlets etc. So the way they were teasing arcane was basically it would have vi and jinx and it would center around the conflict between the sisters.
Which is obviously not a lie but what you would envision as a player before the show was essentially vi vs jinx in direct confrontation with maybe a little bit of drama but focused on their weapon combat.
So then when the series dropped everyone was still blown away by the direction the series took even though they already knew the characters and they thought they knew what the show was about. All the trailers were beautifully misleading.
You're completely right! I remember that even big names in League lore like Necrit, TBSkyen and Dinka spotted two new champions in the trailers. One turned out to be Vi in her Arcane skin (always shown from her back) and the other was Ekko with the mask. The "Viktor" from the trailers turned out to be actually Ryze (if at all) and a lot of people thought that Milo was young Viktor and Clagger was young Jayce. Actually the trailers were when the masterpiece already started. And I still don't know what happend to the smoking guy with the high hat from the announcement trailer... 🤔 Season 2 or just cut out?

23:54 Since Jinx came out in 2013 people where speculating that she was Vi's sister (vi came out in 2012), Jinx has a voice line where she says "You think that i'm crazy?, wait till you see my sister" there was a lot of discussion if it was Vi or if she was teasing a new champion. Later on Riot confirmed that they where sisters, although they didn´t tap into their stories. Basically until Arcane, you only knew that they where rivals.
From what I heard Riot never actually officially confirmed Vi and Jinx are sisters (or that's what Necrit says). Astute players following stories and oice lines surmised this though. And then there was an accidental reveal by Riot's twitter account, where in one post they showed various pairs of siblings, with Vi and Jinx among them. It was taken down but not before people noticed

That set is not a cgi, they literally made a miniature Piltover and Zaun. It's awesome.
The song "Get Jinxed" is directed at Vi and Cait from Jinx. The lines "do you really wanna catch me? Right now I'm feeling ignored!" and others in the song are about that.

The fact that the videoclip links each pro to their "supposedly" favorite champions is actually big brain. Brtt as Draven, Reckless as Jhin, Faker as Oriana and Showmaker as Syndra... damm the details.
The Oriana player wasn't Faker. If I'm not mistaken it was based on Chovi.

I know you still have content on the list of I wondered... has anyone mentioned "Falconshield" ? it was a group (now disbanded) that made a series of rap songs presenting LoL characters in dope, funny and rappy way, presenting them per regions also. You should react to at least the second rap song "Piltover Vs Zaun" to know all the characters from there. Loving your content so far!

Just catching this video now and wanted to mention that while fishbones is a rocket launcher that jinx uses the big shark rocket at the end of arcane is actually called Super Mega Death Rocket 🚀
Jinx and Vi was hinted to being sisters for the longest time for years in some way since the moment Jinx had a quote "you think I'm crazy? You should see my sister".
With the announcement of arcane it was confirmed they they in fact are sisters
It was never confirmed before Arcane that they were sisters but the voice-overs gave hints that's why league players kinda knows it already. I don't think they even mentioned it on their lores but it was a well-known rumor like days after they're introduced.
Yeah, in their lores there is no mention of Vi and Jinx being sisters. Jinx's lore just says she a crazy criminal. And Vi's lore that she is an orfan that had a gang long time ago.
You should react to CBLoL opening ceremony 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. CBLoL is the Brazilian league of legends scene. Their openings were so good that Riot asked them to make MSI openings. You won't regret watching it.
this is the magi of the Stagecraft. and the Mandalorian tv show was one of the revolutionary on the scene. The Batman movie was filmed with Stagecraft too.
The one player you were thinking was Faker is actually a younger player who goes by Showmaker. Very talented, a lot of people viewing him as the "next" Faker which is why in the video you have him looking up at the billboard with Faker on it and the massive crown dropping down on/around him, because it's a legacy he hasn't proven he is worthy to wear yet.
24:30 it was confirmed. Originally it was heavily hinted, but they made some changes with interactions in game when some of the characters meet others while Arcane was in production that confirmed it, curiously one of the changes being Warwick's interactions too. That is where the big theory on him being Vander comes from, that and a few other possible hints in musical themes for Vander and Warwick. He is for sure related to Vi and Jinx though, he could just be random thug A or the guy that ratted out Vi to Silco even, but whoever he is, prior to being Warwick, he knew Vi and Jinx.
At either rate Warwick being in season 2 is almost a sure thing, given he was hanging in Singed's lab at the last time we see him, and had slashed his jaw, which is how Singed gets his scar in game lore.
I love your reactions guys, it would be nice if you react to the songs from the past worlds (Warriors 2014, Worlds Collide 2015 and Ignite 2016). Also the old riot cinematics, like the gameplay trailer and the domination cinematic, are a lot of fun.
As far as I know the worlds are always held in the winners country - so next time in Oktober/November 2022 it will be in China. They probably won't tease much for Arcane 2 - they will take their time with it so it gets as perfect as the first season. I assume it will probably take another 3-4 years to finish it. I know it's really hard to wait - but I believe it's worth the wait.
And no we (the league players) didn't know that Jinx and Vi were sisters until the first teasers for Arcane. They started working on the show when Jinx was released (which was around 6 years ago) and they paid attention to not spoil that info - which worked really well.

2022 Worlds will be soon, usually around the of Oktober. Finals will be in 5th of November. This Worlds will be in North America (Play-inns in Mexico City, Groups and Quarterfinals in New York, Semifinals in Atlanta and Finals with the event in San Francisco)
League of legends is based on champions from Runeterra, which is where piltover, Demacia, Noxus are among other regions. The matches occurr in the map, Summoners Rift. The players are called summoners and the lore behind it is that summoners summon the champions into battle. When a pro player becomes "Godly" in a specific champ they are usually given a tribute in these worlds promo videos. Faker with Ryze, Syndra and others, Uzi with Vayne, Madlife with Thresh, Insec with Lee Sin, etc.
there is a cover of "Dear friend across the river" featuring Rachel Hardy that is beautiful (The one with 1M+ views). It also has an original piece of fan artwork at the 2:38 mark that is hearbreaking.
So to clear some of your doubts about worlds.
Worlds finals tend to be around 20s of October and this year Riot announced that world will be held in 3 countries divided in the 3 stages of world (play-in, groups and rumble) so for the first stage is Mexico, the second I believe is in the US and the rumble stage will be in Canada so the worlds finals and the ceremony I believe will be in Canada this year.

Actually the "main character in Burn it all Music Video wasn't Faker. It's actually Showmaker (An aspiring Midlaner, that won Worlds 2020). He got the recognition he deserved for his overall career performance that was at the time getting into conversation with him possibly become the new Legend in the making.
In 3:04 Faker was shown in the Video for a second.
It is in fact a complete irl set (with green screen background of course). It really blew my mind. I want to go there, have a beer at the Last Drop (Vander style of course) and play Here comes Vi on the jukebox . 😍😍
I really hope Riot is going to expand their cinematic universe and that at some point it will be possible to visit a kinda theme parc with different sets then. Imagine walking through the Lanes, next door enter Freljord, next Shadow Isle, Immortal Bastion next. Riot: you want my money? Go get it!! 👍😃

in the game, Vi actually has amnesia, she believed that her name from her face tattoo which is VI, she doesn't remember anything from her childhood, but her correlation with jinx is never explained although something like in third episode actually happened but we don't know how because its never mentioned also because Silco is not exist in lol. Jinx is known for being public disturbance and prankster and she always make a commotion.
there was a theory that Jinx tried to make havoc in Piltover (yes not in Zaun) to make VI remember her childhood also she probably not obsessed over Vi like in Arcane. In Legend of runeterra in one of her storyline (a game mode expedition) with VI its confirmed that they are sisters

They actually wanted and planned to make a MASSIVE stage that would be literally Piltover and Zaun, the cities as stage props etc....but Covid happened and well all those plans had to be scrapped which is massive shame but this is also amazing, Riot cinematic + music team with Fortiche created this amazing music opening video and the sets they created...I still cant believe how amazing the Lanes look

It's crazy to think that the show open movie was so down to the wire, they weren't sure if it would be ready 30 minutes before it was due to play.
when i first watched this... i was amazed how Jhin and Kai'sa (ranged fighters in game) are having a melee combat 🤣🤣🤣
what happened is that in all the teaser and trailers we saw Jinx and Vi as grown-ups instead of kids, so the shock value came out in the first episode when we saw Jinx and Vi as children, instead of your case that the shock came after the timeskip
We know they're sisters since Jinx was released. Vi release song "She's such a mistress, aways ready to fight" something like this... Is sang by Jinx during the game, but she sings "She's such a loser, always ready to cry T-T-T-TCHA!". Also the line "You think I'm crazy?! You should see my sister!" along with some others that make it clear they're sisters.
All we knew as players is a jinx quote from the game :
"You think im crazy you should see my sister"
In the first clip, the one guy with his glasses was not the one that u think "Faker" it was "ShowMaker", the midlaner of Damwon Kia one of the team which was actually fighting in the 2021's world LoL final
was obvious they would pick Lynn to sing a song for them. her voice suits perfectly into this type of music as it was with chrissy from ATC. damn I just spent 6 hours watching your content.... I need to take a break xD

Faker wasn't the focu in this vídeo, but in the beggining, Showmaker was looking at an outdoor showing faker and written "King of the Korean League"
vi and jinx have long been associated, but arcane was the reveal of them as sisters, however basically the pitch of arcane when it was announced years ago was that it was an origin story for vi and jinx AND that they were sisters, so we knew that long before arcane came out, but only because of arcane. that wasnt a secret they had any intention of preserving for league players. also coming from the game, seeing pre and post time skip wasnt a spoiler at all.
fishbones is interesting, in the game, jinx switches between powpow and fishbones constantly, it is her basic ability, not ultimate, so i didn't even bat an eye at seeing it here. HOWEVER, since it wasnt in the show for the first 8 episodes, and is an extremely iconic part of her kit, it WAS a huge moment and huge reveal when she picked it up in episode 9. and then the rocket she fired with it was her ultimate ability in game which was a separate 'holy shit' moment for us. so all that to say, it can be true that seeing fishbones here wasnt a spoiler or significant AND the reveal of fishbones and the rocket in episode 9 was an incredible monumentally cool moment. it might feel a little weird to a show watcher, but at least for me those statements can both be true q:

This world came in a very strong phase of Covid so they couldn't do it live but it was still a good production considering the fact of the economic difficulty that the world was suffering at the moment. I really liked it, my 3 favorites are 2018, 2019, 2021

I don't think an exact date has been confirmed yet for Worlds 2022, but the finals are usually held late October/Early November. It's being held in North America this year too.
My predictions for the opening ceremony are some Arcane season 2 teasers and some big music acts featuring their established groups K/DA and True Damage and maybe something new (based on some artwork with True Damage Ekko and K/DA Ahri that Riot Games Music posted on their twitter during the Grammy Awards. Interestingly Jinx was also in that artwork...)
And they just moved semi-finals out of toronto, us canadians are devistated
To be fair, the main 'event' this year is Star Guardian by the looks of it. About the scale of Ruination or Spirit Blossom. We'll probably end the year going into whatever the Void event will be.

So for years in league lore it Vi and Jinx weren’t considered sisters, however fans/players of the game began vocalizing their desire for the two to be sisters. The Jinx/Vi sister theory became one of the most talked about theories related to league and so I believe riot heard the fans call out and decided to run with it, but it wasn’t until riot started discussing creating a show and started reworking the lore that we got any real answers as to whether or not the two would be canon sisters. I’m glad they went that route though because it has made for the basis of an incredible show.
You should react to LEC (EU league of Legends competative scene) content. They have rap battles and couple of songs. Amazing part about it is people performing them are not actual singers. They are caseters for LEC. So they incorporated lots of player stories and memes.
Actually the main charecter in burn it all down was showmaker and hes champion is syndra and the one he was fighting in the start before they went in to the arena was chovy and hes champion was oriana.

In general, anyone who knew enough about League to be watching the Worlds Finals in October would already know Jinx and Vi from the game, including Fishbones.
Those things weren't really spoilers before the show for that crowd, we would have been more likely to notice if they WEREN'T there.
And yeah, it had been strongly HINTED that Jinx and Vi were sisters, but it was Arcane that officially confirmed it (as well as Vi/Caitlyn).

The one you were saying was Faker wasn't him, as he's still playing for SKT T1, which has a red/white jersey. The one in blue/white is another Korean great, Showmaker. Faker and Showmaker were fighting in this one.
I think that worlds 2022 will be void themed which is still awesome

I think is just the hexportal technology, but in the future something like this can be used to create a lot of arcane systems and maybe orianna's ball is a bit similar
