I can't get over 5:50 where they're in Corey's living room surrounded by the family on the stairs and they just start making out like "oh, I love Christmas" LMFAOO
I love Shawn and Angela, but it always bothers me how Shawn goes from not wanting to be with her because "he's not ready" after Angela confesses that she still loves him to skipping to the next season where Shawn is obsessed with Angela, is trying to win her back and Angela rejecting to be with him because she's scared to love him? It just doesn't make sense 💀 they completely flipped the characters around
i think this happens because shawn goes through i would say an "identity crisis" in season six being confused and thinking he wants to meet new ppl until season seven when he realized that wasn't true. I like that angela says "she's done " with shawn prompting him to start pining for her I think that was great for their characters and showing where her trust issues stem from. This season pains me that they were apart for so long but it gave them both so much depth and made them so relatable.
What made it work for me at least from Shawn's side was the way they tied it back to Shawn's childhood trauma and abandonment issues. The way I take it is that it was never a matter of Shawn not wanting to be with Angela or anything like that; he was *very* much in love with her, and that was very scary for him since so many people in his life who he should have been able to trust had let him down. Although I do wish they'd clarified this a bit more, I always figured that once he and Angela had made it past high school together and it was shaping up to be a true, lasting relationship, that was when it hit him that he was beginning to imagine a full life with her, and so he started sabotaging it out of fear of being hurt again if he gave into the depth of the feelings he had for her. All of that is to say: within that context, it was everything that happened with Chet that was the turning point. That was Shawn realizing the impact that the abandonment from his parents in childhood had on him, and even with as awful as it was with Chet dying before they could start anew, he was still able to reach a place of relative closure by the time he came back from his road trip. So it was never some sudden heal turn in terms of his feelings for Angela - the feelings were *always* there, but by later s6 is just when he'd finally gotten to a place of being ready to give into them :) On Angela's end, it makes total sense to me why she'd be scared of recommitting since it HAD been so hard on her when Shawn had pulled away so abruptly - though I'll admit that the addition of her own abandonment issues from her mom felt a bit unnecessary. I get what they were going for, giving her a history Shawn would of course be able to empathize with, but it just felt like a very sudden shoehorned-in aspect of her character that, again, really wasn't necessary since she had plenty of motivation to be scared of opening herself back up to Shawn just based on what he'd done in s6!
The writers are stupid for sabotaging their relationship
so stupid 🙄
For real
I love how she couldn’t help but laugh at “ow my keys.” And then “I really Cory-Ed this up,” and “oh God I’m both of them!”
Angela is so pretty 🥺🥺

I just imagine "they're making out on the stairs again, just wanna go to my room....but it's upstairs.." sighs
These two yo-yo back and forth so much that it's ridiculous, yet I can't help but love them.
Love these videos❤ proud Shawn and Angela supporter ❤️

Yea but simp shawn was funny so I can forgive them for that
I mean could make sense why the roles reverse and Angela is hesitant. She probably doesn’t want to be hurt again.
@@thefeels6848 I was about to say the same thing.
