In today's video I decided to try my hand at palying Android 42 and seeing how they hold up after the nerfs. My thoughts? I think they're gonna be just fine as characters lol. What about you though? particularly Labcoat. Is she okay now?

I’ll say it Android 21 (Majin) and Base Vegeta were top tiers that’s weren’t detrimental to the game, and didn’t need the nerfs they god. Rocket kick being a Frame 4 reversal and as safe as it was was a bit much, but you could have nerfed the reversal aspect and left the frame data alone, Yet Blue Goku had the same exact move and has had that move buffed since why not just make Blueku as good as Base Vegeta. As to Majin 21 that Oki nerf is ridiculous she should at least get a safe jump off it, and at that 18 still has it. Why not just give 18 better tools.
Majin 21 has literally everything, She needed that Oki nerf so she has ATLEAST one weakness.
@@AhmedAhmed-ii4pe she has stubby lights, command grabs that were only good for combos, candy beam was already a low damage level three, and to top it off she had no way of getting a sliding knock down with our spending an assist or a bar for vanish dr. She had clear weaknesses. The oki she got off that level three was to reward you for spending the bars to get the knockdown. Anchor 21 isn’t even remotely viable cause she cant get a SKD with out spending a bar. Even 2h Auto combo doesn’t give that to her. I don’t know where you got this idea that she was near invincible. This game is known to have a steam roll effect for any character that gets what there game plan is done.

Man labcoat is so good still. I think she is still in the top 3, The crazy thing is I'm pretty sure Gogeta is not anymore. I think Both Gogetas are top 5 but the Hit buffs are so godlike I think he makes it. I think you could argue about who is better between lb 21 and Vegito.
Blue Gogeta is not top 5, sorry to say. He has _way_ too issues that you have to work around

While the nerfs to Majin 21 are tragic you can still get a 4 way mix-up with her by using the other lvl 3.
It takes some getting used to be it can work as a substitute for her old lvl 3

How though? Even that level 3 got nerfed by 10 frames. Probably a comfortable amount to safejump, but isn't too little for any crossup options?
@@Mandwar even with the -10 nerf you still get plenty of time to do a normal cross-up however cross-up low is almost impossible to do now.
@@simpltonn6162 got a clip or a video? Any crossup option can be 2H'ed from my testing. But it may just be me not being used to the new timing. What button do you use to cross up?
@@Mandwar I went back to the lab to do some more testing and the widow to do the cross-up is much MUCH tighter than I thought you have to be almost frame perfect for it to be meaty.

I’m thinking about dropping my old team of Nappa, Roshi, and S Broly and picking up Lab Coat, Adult Gohan, and S Broly. Broly got some pretty cool buffs that I wasn’t aware of and that’s my dude on anchor. I learned Gohan a bit but I never touched Lab Coat. Time to grind it out!!✌️

All of these knee-jerk reactions to LC21's nerfs is funny to me and shows how people really underestimate this character, ironically enough.

And even though Majin 21's oki got smoked (admittedly, even I think it was unfair), that just means she has _almost_ everything in the game now instead of _absolutely_ everything. Like you said, they'll both be just fine

they made her command grab super impossible to land they should’ve just removed it instead bc it’s basically impossible to land now which i’m not complaining about but still.
I feel as tho Majin 21 didn't need the nerf I think she was fine the way she was
I kinda think she should have gotten worse nerfs. Not anything character breaking but maybe make the lariat more negative and make the super grab extremely slow but also not debuff the enemy. Maybe being used as a more damaging grab or something but the debuff is holding her back imo.
She's probably gonna hold the ban at most tourneys cause that debuff still exists
@@Akechifan yeah the debuff is the main problem because while it got nerfed she can still combo into it and get the debuff and seeing it in tournaments is bad since it makes the game much longer than it should.
I thought the nerf was that the debuff super couldn't be comboed into

Android 42 maybe top tier, but they do require braincells unlike other top tiers like UI Face+Controllerkarot
M21 nerfs were dumb. I mean no safe jump on a level 3? And they nerfed her other level 3. She has no sliding knockdown and her level 3 has low damage. They keep nerfing offence and keep buffing defence, spark and braindead characters. Who were they listening to?
Vegito is practically the same character cause 5 m is still mad fast and he just goes into 2l, 2M legs and he’s safe to back dash and 5m again anyway. Oh he does 4% less damage off of kicks now. Oh GOODIE.
Casuals who don’t block and mash on wake up then look at a tier list see that Majin is top tier and start ranting themselves.

@@denisn8336 the worst part is her and Base Vegeta were the two top tiers that weren’t harming the state of the game it was Vegito, Gogeta 4, Lab Coat, and Broly. Blue Gogeta isn’t that bad compared to his red headed twin and his Dummy thick 5m Counterpart.
