Do you have any advice for someone that is trying to find entertainment based jobs in Atlanta? Job boards, recruiting companies, etc. I already know about entertainment careers and linkedin. I have been looking but I haven't been getting any hits or responses back. I know it is kind of who you know, but I don't want to be stuck in a job I don't like because I'm afraid that will hold me back from getting a job in what I ACTUALLY want to do.

hi! from my _personal_ experience, it's 1000% been about who I've known. but I know that getting that first job can be really difficult, the entertainment industry is quite tricky. depends on what exactly you're looking to do in the entertainment industry, but I would say to look for other people [probably via social media] who have a job you'd be interested in, reach out to them and ask for advice or if you could take them to coffee. look for any events where you might be able to meet people in the industry. I'd thought about making a video about this so maybe I'll compile my thoughts and get that together soon!

Buying props is becoming a “lost art” what with the invention of the jet engine and the ducted fan.
