Thanks for the informative review. I had some frustrations with the installation, phone could not "read" the code, run into errors, and could not find the network, The solution: turn off the modem (unplug it) and also turn off the Nest Pro Router (the one you are connecting to the modem). Give it a couple minutes. Then turn on the modem and wait until it is fully operational (all front lights are on). Only after the modem is fully operational, then turn on the Nest Pro Router. Now you are ready top use the Google Home application. In my experience, this made a huge difference for the installation. Performance wise: I upgraded from the original Google Mesh (2018). The overall speed of hardwired and Wifi was a little better, the range was slightly better (removed one mesh "puck"), but the stability is excellent.
try placing one in the middle between the one in the garage and wherever the other one is. I personally had to end up setting up an ethernet cable so I can get good speed in the second floor.
Awesome video, thank you for the information. One question I cannot seem to get answered relates to the WAN and LAN ports. When a ethernet cabled are connected, are there any indicator lights on the ethernet port itself?

Once you configure the mesh, can more than one be hardwired? or just one has to be hardwired?
Do I/Can I connect to my stand alone router? Router is part of theatre room system.
Great video, thanks. Still unable to connect third one due to range. Not sure if I need a fourth? Trying to reach garage. Your thoughts?

How many mesh can we link?
If I had a 2.4 and a 5 Ghz wifi already running on my ISPs modem, I should probably disable these after I've got the router mesh network running?
Yeah, you don't want extra signals in the air, scrambling your Google Mesh.
Thank you so much! Very useful
Glad it was helpful!
