I can finally rest in peace! I own a 64 Nova SS! I dont care what year of the first gen Nova you got! I love them all.......62....63....64....65!!!!!!
Adam Lader sent me this video. I would kill to have that car. I currently own a '12 Mustang GT that runs mid 10's, but there is nothing like old school muscle.
I have owned 62 nova two door hard top for the last 20 years and love the thing
i like what the bodyman did with the taillights! sweet car!!
I can't stop watching this.
Just plain OLE "BAD ASS"!
A beautiful car and well prepared.
Had a '62. Your interior is very nice.
I cant stop watching this
Everything is perfect,sound,look...PERFECT!!!
That is by far the best looking and meanest Chevy II on youtube :-)
Nice Build ..Like the Interior.. Very Sharp Car ..
WOW! Nice job man this is one of the cleanest Ive ever seen!
How much is it
killer ride dude.
That's so badass. What a beauty!!
Freakin' Radical Ride..............Thanks for the posting..............
They were domed, it was about 10:5.1 or so compression. They were full floating pistons, roller cam, rockers, etc., 850 demon carb, dual plane intake, msd ignition. It does rev really quick actually. Its hard to say about your combo, it would likely rev quick with similar components... but theres never any that always work the same.
Too nice indeed. A beautyful car fellows.
Car sounds badazzzzz!
9" ford with ladder bar/air ride suspension, yes mini tubbed and narrowed, dont recall the width though? Back wheels are 18x9 1/2" wide with 3 1/2" backspacing. Thanks for the compliments. -Gary
All right, I guess I saw what I wanted to see. It's not my car, I was just explaining to you why he would set the idle so low. You're the only one saying negative shit about this bad ass car.
Actually the whole time i was on the gas letting on and off it was spinning the tires lol. But no, it wont hardly do a burn out. all show and no go, just an rv cam with the choke on to sound good.
Thanks!!
If I ever built a Nova this is what it would be! Me likey.
Thanks, They are home made, modified the housings, made new lenses/reflectors.
17x7 and 17x10 Billet Specialties, Vintec Dished.
I bought it off a Nova message board I was on, a guy was selling them. You can find em all over now.
I just saw this for sale. It made me sad to think someone will be able to just sign a check for this sweet magazine ride.
Thanks
Yes everything is custom or modified on it. Mounts, firewall, front subframe, inner fenders, etc.
3" mandrel bent exhaust with x-pipe and Dynatech mufflers. Thanks
thanks
Very nice! what rear gear, stall speed and trans are you running?
Thanks
What type of piston you have flat top or done I just like the way it revs so quick . Are you running pump gas I want the same set up . Do you think it would rev that quick with compression 9:5:1 -10:1 with xr288hr
Hey guys .... got my hands on a 1962 Chevy 2 Acadian hood ....
Question : I'm wondering what would be best method to restore the "under hood" portion, it has rust on it but no perforations. The top of the hood is like new. Thanks !
I'm building a 62 and also installing the Checkerd racing front clip. any advice?
Have a few questions if you dont mind.
1. What rear-end are you running and has it been narrowed any?
2. Back Spacing on the rear wheels
Beautiful Car-.

Its a 3.23 gear, 400 turbo trans and 3000 stall. thanks

What kind of taillight are those they look pretty sick.
Hey Gary, 66 BADBOY here from Steves. What size were these Dynatechs? Were they the 14" ovals? Or the 6" round? Thanks man!!
What the cam spec??
Hey Gary my names Joey. I just had to say WOW! I love your nova! I can say this is how I envision mine on the outside. It is perfect. I just bought a 62 nova shell and am starting from the ground up. I saw your details and just wanna know what the total cost was if that is you feel comfortable saying it. And also what parts would you recommend? Again Love the car and any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks again.
JPres84 this car easily cost him no less than 30K to build im conservative on the estimate
I love the sound of that cam. What mufflers do you have on that?
Sounds like straight pipes
what size rims and tires did it have....tubbed?
Which dynatech mufflers are on there?
Wow
What cam do you got in that
What Brand and Model Wheels Are Those? Thanks!
you got a 3000 stall and a big cam in there with 3.23 gears ? you need more gear don't you ? good looking car ..my uncle had one of these. .sharps cars.
+james myers Thanks. Yes it was a low gear, I had a high gear for awhile and switched to a lower gear so i could cruise the highway more with it. went on several long trips and never had any issues with the low gear and high stall.
Gary Alumbaugh cool..i didn't think it would run right like that. Im still learning though. I have 4.30s in my duster..its pretty fun but i may lower my gears eventually to like 3.90s or 3.55s .
Was this Nova in a magazine?
how much compression do you have
What engine and transmition?
did he say its alright???
What's the cam spec???
They are the ovals
