Thank you so much for sharing your NDE. Sharing Your experience totally freed me from feeling I’m unlovable. I have read all of your books and signed up for Near Death Experience. The one question I would like you alone to answer is how do you define the ego and how do I identify it in myself? Thank you for being the light♥️.

Kittyfarkas sorry to hear about the pain you've been through but the biggest disservice you would be doing to yourself is to take the doctors labels too seriously. Anita, as you know, has often spoken about not using the word "remission". I would like to suggest to you to check out Joe Dispenza's work also, his books, meditations, etc in case you are a believer in mind-body connections to healing. Good luck.

Around the 25 minute mark where you talk about understanding the gift of true knowledge through your example of the blind person gaining sight, then having sight taken away again, I wanted to point out it is strikingly Platonic, as in Plato the ancient philosopher. Plato explained part of his theory of knowledge similarly: Imagine a cave where people are chained and cannot see that there is an outside world. They face a wall, and believe the shadows cast on the wall in front of them from their fire behind them are reality. They don't even know the fire is the cause of the light and shadows, they don't know there is an entrance/exit to the cave. Imagine one person is able to break free, sees the fire in the cave is a source of light and is more real than the shadow, then eyes after a time his adjust, he sees the entrance/exit to the cave and understands the mechanism behind the fire producing shadows. Leaving the cave, he sees the light source of the sun and is blinded, but after eyes adjusting sees all the other things in the world and is amazed and how unreal those shadows on the wall, which he thought were reality, are truly not real. The clarity that the sun brings to him, and his experiences there are overwhelming and he wants to share them with the people he was shackled beside in the cave. So he goes in to tell them and yes, they think he is crazy, delusional, making things up and something must have snapped in his mind. It takes openmindedness and a release from our bonds of dogma to head toward the reality of understanding what is actually the case. Trusting those who have seen 'the light' and feeling the joy they express helps us get to that understanding. Just wanted to share that parallel with you in case you were not familiar with Plato's Theory of Knowledge and this little vignette!

Just one item on the list of things I like about Anita Moorjani - she takes her NDE experience and doesn't just tell us that Death isn't so bad, that we'll continue after, etc.. but how to deal with LIFE ... now. What did she bring BACK from her experience that we can apply to our life today?
