I would agree, all 5 minutes and 13 seconds of the video gave me certain glimmer of hope that told me i would scamper from the exam hall with a hop, skip and a jump.

could you pleas tell me how to make notes from your videos ..........because i write everything in the video and thats too much info so what exactly do you need to write down
Personally, I would start by taking detailed notes on the video - as much detail as you like. Next, I would try to reduce those detailed notes to 4 or 5 sentences, and write those down on one side of a cue card (or piece of paper). For example:
1) B serves as a foil to M, highlighting their differences. Both are brave warriors, respected figures, and army captains, but their reactions to the witches' prophecies set them apart.
2) Whilst B is sceptical of the witches' prophecies, M becomes consumed by ambition. Shakespeare's portrayal of B differs from the source material, possibly to present him in a more positive light.
3) An alternative interpretation of B's character focuses on his ‘cursed thoughts’ and reluctance to speak up against M. This may suggest he has his own ambitions but chooses a different path.
4) B's goodness ultimately costs him his life, emphasising the play's themes of good versus evil and the complexity of human nature. Critics often note that M and B, representing evil and good, cannot coexist.
5) B's character serves as a complement to M, highlighting the complexities of human nature and Shakespeare's fascination with contrasts and opposites.
Now after this, I would try to reduce my notes to key words or phrases. I might write these down on the other side of the cue card / paper. Something like:
Foil
Source material
'cursed thoughts'
good vs evil (cannot coexist)
contrasts and opposites
Then I would wait until another day, and look at these key words / phrases and see what I can recall. If I can remember everything: great! If not, I'll look on the back to remind myself what the note meant. If that doesn't help, I'll rewatch the video. Ultimately my aim is to have a few key words or phrases that I look at in the run up to the exam, and for those to be enough to trigger my memory of everything I think I need to know.
When I feel confident I 'know' everything, I will attempt a sample question (mrbruff.com/worksheets) and see what I struggle with. Perhaps I will realise that I struggle with a certain character or theme, so I will go back and repeat the process. Perhaps I will realise that I know the play really well but not how to answer an exam question, so I will watch the videos on exam questions.
