As I say, the beauty is in the simple techniques such as pinching, pulling, twisting, and so on. I recently purchased some large hair clips and small elastic bands to create little styles for myself. ThanQ for the ideas. I like all the updos on here today, specially one and two.

@@HairAngels Doing quite well actually. Got a compliment the other day for one of my hairstyles.
I have waist length locks (hate the word dreads) which I stopped wearing down and loose and started updoing with different coloured headwraps when C-19 hit in 2020. Now I want to updo without any scarf or covering, so here I am, getting ideas from all across the w.w.w. Ideas for hairstyles won't just pop into my head no matter what I put out to the universe.

Do you prep the hair with any type of product before starting the style?
Hey 👋 if I curl the hair, I always use a heat protectant beforehand. Other than that, I mainly use texture sprays etc during styling
