I have a load of well kept Meccano, and this all reminds me of when I first had a Meccano set in 1959 Set 6. WOW I think its time I made some thing. The video well done, great quality and 23 minutes was all well worth watching.
Wonderful video. I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for showing me. I am a technic lego fan and this video inspired me although they are different construction mediums.
The Magic of #Meccano Show, now renamed "Meccano Madness" returns to the London Museum of Water and Steam (www.waterandsteam.org.uk) this weekend for the first time since their refurbishment. Here's a taste of what to expect, from the last event in 2012:
I won a national Maccano competition around 1950 by building a working grandfathers clock. The top prize was three guineas (three pounds fifteen pence). I thought with all that money in the bank I would never have to work. How wrong I was!
It may be because the label is not quite centered, I have occassionally seen this problem before. If you send me your address by email I will send you one without a label so you can see if that works. tim@surtell.com
Lego models can sometimes be impressive, but I can never easily see a vision amongst a pile of Meccano pieces. Great stuff.

I have just been gifted with your "33rd International Meccano Model Show, Skegness" DVD but I can't get it to work on my W10 PC. Suggestions please.
