Amos Lee Performs Live at the Leon Loft for Acoustic Café

- On April 2, 2019, American singer-songwriter Amos Lee joined us at the Leon Loft for a short performance and interview with Acoustic Café host Rob Reinhart.
A true storyteller, Amos discussed the perspective that his work with "Musicians on Call" brings, an organization that provides live music to patients in healthcare facilities, and what it was like self-producing his latest album in between taking requests from the audience and playing songs like, “Little Light”, “Hang On, Hang On”, “Windows Are Rolled Down”, “Missing the Mark”, and a moving cover of Marvin Gaye’s classic, “What’s Going On”.
The Leon Loft is an intimate, live performance space upstairs at the Leon Speakers headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Love that he reaches out and connects to kids that are battling cancer. Stunning how different this version of Windows are Rolled Down is! Almost like a new song the way he does it here. Just shows how amazing he is!

I've been listening to this man since I first heard Arms of a woman on Yahoo music in 2004. I still hang on every note and chord like it's life giving. His voice is so pure, raw talent personified to the extreme. I love every song he's ever wrote or performed in every style no matter what fighting a cold or not. Thank you Amos for picking up a guitar and gracing us with your presence on stage. I just looked up concert dates and I'm praying I get to see you in AZ. I love music and I love how your music makes me feel.

My favorite singer song writer. First time I’ve heard him talk about his perspective. Right on, Amos! I tried to get to a show in Tennessee a couple of years ago but didn’t have the money. I hope to see him live someday! Keep on keeping on! ❤️ My Grandmother was my best friend and raised me... balling now.

I had to.miss this and his show that night because I was in the hospital getting my foot amputated. THANK YOU so much for posting this📣🎤🎙️🎵🎶 He truly is the most incredible singer/songwriter there is as far as I,am concerned. When he brought up being "lost" for Violin my heart truly felt like that specifically that very night. I love him forever, as I find myself learning so much more about life, this came at the very best time. Again, heart and soul I thank you for this gift.
Turns out they had to amputated my leg below the knee, I'm not sure if Amos Lee would read this but I never thought I'd have to miss his show. I'm still sad I had to miss him but hopefully he'll be back soon and I can go then. I love ya all for this post. Thank you again xox
