I think it’s so amazing that you freely post these videos for all to learn from. As Montessori picks up, it’s harder and harder to find affordable resources. I think about the parents who may not have the time and money for full trainings, and I know these videos are treasures for them. Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Thanks for the precious lesson. I have a question, hope I can receive the answer from you. Can 2 children work together at the same table? The table size is about 60x120cm. If not, so do we need to use the mat for the table, or they can work directly on the table.
I'm glad you found the lesson valuable! Regarding your question, yes, two children can work together at the same table provided it offers enough space for both to engage comfortably in the activity. A table measuring 60x120 cm should typically provide sufficient space for two children to work side by side. As for using a mat, it's not strictly necessary if you're working at a table. The mat is primarily used on the floor to define the child's work area and to help contain the materials. When using a table, it can work well without a mat, as the boundaries of the table naturally define their workspace. However, if you find that a mat helps in organizing their materials or in keeping the table clean, feel free to use one. I hope this helps, and if you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you for posting this video. Can you post a video series explaining various activities appropriate for specific child ranges from 12 months and older?
Hi Shazia - why don't you click on this link and we will get in touch with you to share some info about our courses sunshineteacherstraining.id/about-us/contact/
this is very nostalgic. this is how we open the door. and this is how we close the door. i that is one of those trainigs we had during our shinshine days.
Hi .. I have two kids with special needs . My sone is very hyperactive n he doesn't pay attention . I have to speak again n again to gain his attention while doing some activity n it really upsets him . Can you plz guide me how can I teach him life skills while he has poor attention n focus .
I also have a child with special needs and I understand your struggles. Give your child some choices of activities. Allow him to choose what he would like to work with or explore. And watch and see what he is struggling with. See what he enjoys and create your activities around these notes.
Hi Ujwal - we actually have to UNROLL first (because the mat is already rolled up when we take it from the shelf). and then we roll it up to return it to the original state before replacing it on the shelf.
Hi Priya - you are right. And we do not do this under normal circumstances. However, this video was filmed during a workshop and all participants were seated on the floor and sit was only presented this way for purposes of the workshop. What is not featured in the video is when the trainer tells the students that this activity is strictly presented on a table. Its wonderful for you to bring this up. Thanks.
I actually have a child with special needs who his 19 years old and I have practiced a Montessori way of life with him since he was born. So I can tell you with confidence that it works wonders :)

What is the purpose behind showing first rolling then unrolling...?
Hi Ujwal - we actually have to UNROLL first (because the mat is already rolled up when we take it from the shelf). and then we roll it up to return it to the original state before replacing it on the shelf.
Well done mam
Thanks!
Iam a Montessori trainer from IMTC. Pls give proper training to ur trainees mam.
I am sorry... is there an issue?
Rolling ok mam unrolling is not correct. We should not sit and do this activity.

Hi Vakula... thanks for your feedback. From centre to centre there will always be slight differences :)
