Kristin says the clothes aren’t a gender hint and then all the comments are saying it’s a boy. If you are looking for gender neutral things, you’ll mostly find them in the boys section. My daughter has almost all “boy” clothes because we didn’t find out gender until she was born and there’s not much gender neutral in the girls section. It’s definitely possible she’s having a boy, however the fact that the clothes are from the boys section doesn’t matter. If you look specifically for gender neutral stuff then most of the clothes you find will inherently be in the boys section. Especially when they are newborn-1 year. Just FYI
Couldn’t agree with this more ! We also waited until birth to find out the gender and all gender neutral stuff is always in the boy section in store and online. So our daughter had a lot of stuff that was technically from the “boy” section.
My heart melted when Marcus did a little dance saying "You're content and stuff you like doing is your things.. you know, curating your things." It was so sweet to see his understanding and support for what you love to do. So happy for you both in this new chapter:)
My girl was born 7lbs 10oz. She was in newborn for a week (sooo short lol) and then was out of 0-3 month clothes by the time she was 2 months. I’d highly recommend you stock up more on the 3-6 and 6-9 sizes! Also, STOCK UP on pjs and onesies because when they’re super little, they spend a lot of time in those. Or at least my daughter did haha. :) So happy for you guys!!
The explosion of emotions in Kristin's face while looking at the baby clothes is the CUTEST! And I can't get over how cute of a family you guys are, it literally makes me so happy!
I moved to Tennessee while pregnant in October! My little girl was born last week and moving here was the best choice ever. I hope you love it as much as your old home 🥰
For clothes, all I will say is as a first time mom, you buy more than needed. For really cute outfits, wait till they’re walking. When they are really little, you really only ever have them in a onesie and pants because they spit up and poop on everything
I agree except maybe having one cute outfit per size for the first year for church and pictures!! But as an influencer I also could see why she’d want a lot of the cute stuff because she’ll likely have more pictures of her baby than the rest of us.
@@themasterbower yes totally agree!! I had one cute outfit for each size and they’re so special! But they grow so fast so I’m glad I didn’t get more until he was older😂
kristin! i just have to say...i was having the worst day, feeling so down and depressed for no reason - but this video seriously turned my entire day around. I'm not usually one to comment on youtube videos but I just had to let you know how much I appreciate you and your positivity! been a longtime subscriber and seeing your family grow just makes me so happy :)
I fully understand the weirdness of dripping milk so early!! Girl you gotta get some breast pads, TRUST ME. I got the Bodily Organic Bamboo reusable ones, and they are a life (and shirt) saver! Highly recommend!
So here for the homemade/casual vlog vibes. Reminds me of when Kristin was first starting TH-cam. She makes every subscriber feel at home no matter what ❤️
As someone who takes care of newborns for a living, I would suggest not getting cute newborn clothes. Get a lot of footed pajamas, they will live in those for the first month or two. Get a lot of plain onesies and footed pajamas. They will have blow ups and honestly sometimes you will simply be tempted to throw away the onesie. So buy plain white so you don't feel too bad about throwing them away. You will want footed pajamas in every size. Get a box or 2 of newborn diapers and then get a few boxes of size 1. Pro tip: Open diaper boxes as you use them. Do not anticipate the use of a certain size. Why? because if your baby changes diaper sizes and you have an unopen box of the previous size, Walmart has a diaper exchange program. You can exchange the unopened boxes (regardless from where you purchased them) for the size you need up to $25 per person.
Just a tip if you're interested. I have a dog as well and when we had our baby girl...I asked my mother in law to bring the little beanie that my baby wore the first night and had my dog smell it and have it next to her bed. So when we got home from the hospital she was already familiar with our baby's scent and my dog was so sweet and gentle with her.
Okay so with baby clothes, buy according to month / seasons! For example my baby was born in October, so I bought 0-3 Winter clothes, and 3-6 Spring, and 6-9 all Summer clothes! ♥️ Hope this helps!
Let me tell you Old Navy‘s zip up footie pjs are literally the best. They are so soft and cozy and I got multiple sizes in multiple colors! they have blue gray and pink I believe in the really soft material
Definitely get newborn for the first 6 weeks or so! My baby was 7 pounds (pretty average) and she was in newborn for the first month and a half. Happy shopping, baby clothes are the best!! So happy for you guys. Enjoy it all 💕💕
Love this! 💕 My oldest son was 8.2lbs when he was born + stayed in NB for 3.5 months, my youngest was 6.15lbs and he was out of NB clothes within 6 weeks. Every baby is definitely different - but 0-3/3-6/6-9 is what I would get more of. I wouldn’t go overboard though, I did and ended up donating 7 trash bags of baby clothes + half of them were hardly ever worn if at all. 🙈 but they all went to homes & families who needed them. 💕
I am so excited to see the upcoming house tour and decorating videos! I am praying that you and Marcus are able to close on the house you've been wanting!
You could be getting rosacea, I believe pregnancy could trigger it and make it worse. Also skin is typically more sensitive when pregnant so you could be reacting to a skincare/makeup product or the climate.
Your baby is going to be so stylish!💗💙 I cannot wait for the gender reveal omg. My brother and sister and law just had a baby boy and I’m in LOVEEE. This is also giving me major baby fever 🤒🍼
I love this!! I definitely think these are moments you will want to look back on too! I follow your sister on Instagram and I think it’s probably fun for her to see these and see how glowing you are! To get to see your belly grow and know to that sweet baby will be here soon! ♥️♥️♥️ you guys are so awesome! Baby is so blessed to have you both for parents!
6-9 months for sure ! When they’re new born-it’s good to have maybe two onesies for everyday of the week. For spit up- and blow out reasons! Depending on how often you want to do laundry. The best are zippers with mittens. But every baby is different! Your baby might be wearing smaller or bigger sizes for longer or shorter times depending on their own growth!
Loooove those baby clothes you got! I recommend getting various sizes of clothes you love! Sometimes newborns grow super fast so all those clothes won’t be used for very long. I’ve given my mom friends 2 of the same outfit in 0-3 months and 3-6 months if it’s super duper cute! 😊🌸
I agree with Ashlyn on the clothing size! My daughter wore preemie for a month but my son was too big to ever wear newborn. 3-6 and 6-9 were my most used! So excited for you! Congratulations!
i had my first baby in november, last year + i went a tad crazy on baby clothes because they’re so stinking cute i couldn’t help myself 🥺 just one tip is to buy for the season! i agree with the comments of lots of onesies / pjs but also love the cute lil outfits, i love putting my son in cute sets! we have lots of lil beachy sets being in australia!
Normally I go with the 0-3 months for clothes, but I'm scheduled to have my daughter at 37 weeks, if I make it that long with her trying already to come early a couple times and I have preeclampsia so I actually bought newborn clothes for my 3rd kiddo❤ every baby is different so I shop by brands that seem to fit kids longer. H&M, Hudson Baby and Carters are the three brands thus far that seem to last the whole size range. Gerber is definitely not my recommendation.
I definitely agree about not buying a lot of newborn sized clothing! My first daughter was 8lbs 6 oz and my second daughter was 8 lbs 11 oz and they barely wore newborn clothing. I got the most use out of 3 month clothing because they were always 3 months ahead in sizing. So as newborns they were in 3 months within a week (haha) then the next most common size was 6 months. Just buy a variety and be cognizant of the seasons, too! I’d buy cute stuff and realize in January in the Midwest, that tank top romper was not an option 😂 PJs and onesies will be the easiest thing for a while! Diaper changing is nonstop haha
Hi Kristen! Love your channel! My first little boy just had his first birthday on March 27 and I am 18 weeks pregnant with our second! It is fun to watch you being pregnant at the same time. As for the clothes, for my oldest I bought three sets of the newborn clothes but really, I just mostly used the next size up. Nobody cares if a baby's clothes are a little too big. Sleepers are so useful in the first month or so. Especially sleepers with zippers instead of snaps. People also gave us a lot of clothes so overall, I haven't had to buy a whole lot. Hand-me-downs are great and save money. As for the dogs, we have a Basset hound. When we first got home from the hospital, our dog was so happy and ran around the house when he saw the baby. However, we were so tired and stressed and in pain that that was too much to handle. We took him to a dog kennal for the first week with our baby while we adjusted. I know some people do fine with that but for us, it was really hard. Just a heads up because that was a surprise. Anyway, love your channel and love hearing about your life! Thanks for making videos.
I get a vanilla sweet cream cold brew with brown sugar syrup, vanilla sweet cream cold foam and the salted brown butter topping. It’s the best!! And if I’m feeling extra sweet I’ll add like 2 pumps of caramel syrup in too 🥰
it’s so hard because you just have no idea how they will grow! my little one was in NB clothes for literally 2.5 months. Now he’s 10 months and is 3-6 M in pants & I put him in 12-18 M tops because the oversized look is sooooo sweet 🤍 All that to say : you’ll never know what sizes you need until they’re born & growing so just get a variety and keep the receipts. also, congrats on the little bb 💙 so pumped for you guys to raise your little one here!
My daughter was born at 5 pounds and she was in premie for about 2 weeks and then newborn for a few weeks but in 0-3 and 3-6 for along time! It’s different for every baby!

0-3 months for the most amount of clothes. Then 3-6 months. 0-3 is important because it’s a good range if your baby is very small or if they grow super fast. Hope that helps ♥️
i loved this so much! the part when Marcus filmed you in your cute outfit was so cute yall should do more of those to keep forever! like little snips every week instead of pics!
I definitely got baby boy vibes from the clothes 💙✨🥰
the clothes is in the zara kids boy section online so definitely.
Yeah I looked them up... they’re all boys
Sameeee i was so sure it was a girl, but with that clothes I-
I think it’s a boy!!!

Is there a reason you say footed pajamas, and not open ankle? My mom always told me never get the footed pajamas, so I’m curious!
@@moodsofkiwi9285 yes, because this way you don’t need to put socks on the baby.
